i can't pm you scorp due to your restrictions.
Scorpio: Five - four - three - two - one. Hold on! We're not quite ready to complete our countdown yet. I know this is frustrating but you are probably going to have to spend the next twenty-four hours or so waiting for something to change, shift or give way. If you feel a little as if you are being kept in limbo, maybe you should try doing a spot of limbo dancing. See if you can squeeze your mind under a barrier to progress that has been bothering you for some while. Accomplish that - and you'll yet make this weekend your launch-pad to a far better future.
does this monthly reading help clear things up for you?
Oh you lucky Scorp. As of September 11, you have Venus going through your sign this month – the course of love might not run totally smoothly, but you can at least expect to have more appeal and charm, for admirers to appear out of nowhere and to be looking good a lot of the time. Meanwhile, Mars is in your love zone where he’ll stay for months. You need to learn to argue very gently with friends and lovers over the next few months.
The New Moon is your ‘lucky lunation’ for 2005 – be sure to make a list of goals and intentions for the next 12 months. Lovewise, you can expect to be asked to make the odd sacrifice but it’s nothing you can’t handle. More pressing are demands you’re likely to find at work. Rise to the challenges now and you could find the burden decreases dramatically before too long.
SECRETS AND TRUTHS
There is a lot in your solar chart right now which suggests you’re keeping things to yourself. These could be boring mundane things which you feel you need to take care of, it could be ‘stuff’ which you don’t want to tell your nearests and dearests about because you’re worried you will upset them and, of course, it could also be good old fashioned secrets which you’re keeping to yourself. That’s all fine – just make sure that if you need someone’s support, you let them know. We are all so busy in this world that sometimes we don’t notice when those nearest us need a helping hand unless they ask us.
This is also a time when you could be somehow transformed spiritually. If you have been on a cosmic quest of sorts, or if you have an enquiring mind when it comes to spiritual matters, the rare Jupiter/Pluto conjunction coupled with Venus/Jupiter in your solar 12th house could really set you off on a wonderful journey. Do keep your mind open to the idea that there is more to life than meets the eye and remember that all we were taught at school about Spirit, God and The Universe is not necessarily the whole or the only story!
YOUR LUCKY LUNATION
This is actually a wonderful month for you to be setting goals. The New Moon is in the part of your chart which is related to Wishing. Make a list of your intentions early on in September and make a wish around the time of the New Moon (see my site www.moonology.com for details of where that is in your part of the world). But don’t just wish and leave it at that. Given the spiritual vibe going on in your chart, how about saying a prayer? To who? To God, the Universe or The Great Listener Of Prayers In The Sky. If the word “God” gives you the heebeegeebees, ask yourself if that’s also a hangover from your childhood. And if you’re more of the opinion that we create our own reality, that we are all God, then all this still stands. It’s a month to really make your intentions known. Ask for what you want and you just might get it. Most importantly, ask your soul to surrender to your highest good.
POWER DAYS: September 1, 2, 4, 10, 11, 13, 14 and 18.

astrological scopes for sept 17-23, 2005

here you go peeps.. this week's forecast:
Aries: What we want is to feel good. This is all that any of us ever want. When we are hungry, we want the good feeling that comes from a satisfied stomach. When we are tired, we want the comfort only sleep can bring. Often, though, in the course of leading a stressful, modern life, we skip lunch or stay up late. Often, too, we fail to realize that this is why we feel odd. We mistakenly create more convoluted reasons for our malaise. A basic, simple, easily-solved factor lies behind the complex needs you now seem to have, as you'll see, this weekend.
Taurus: What needs to work, can work, must work, will work. If there is currently no way to make it work, a way to make it work has to be found, somehow. Unless of course, you are mistaken about how much it all really needs to happen. You may be mistaken. It is just possible. If so, the only true test is to try, hard, and see what happens. In the situation that you face, a 'wrong' outcome is not a likely scenario. Either things will transpire as you hope (and you can celebrate) or they won't (and you will realize that it doesn't matter and then celebrate anyhow.)
Gemini: Two pairs of shoes, side by side in the shoe shop. Identical in every respect. Same size, same shape, same colour and design. You buy one pair. Ten minutes later, a stranger buys the other pair. Weeks go by. You go to a gym and leave your shoes on the locker-room floor. Unbeknownst to you, the owner of the other pair is also there. You emerge from your session and put on the wrong ones. How long does it take you to notice? What's right for you is not quite right for someone else now. And vice versa. Don't forget this.
Cancer: Time up, time out, time off. Time to start, time to finish, time to get up, time to go home. Breakfast time, lunchtime, dinner and teatime. Half time, full time, extra time, overtime. Playtime, breaktime, free time, party time. On time, in time, downtime. And we all, of course, have good times - and bad times! Every aspect of time, it would seem, is spoken for. Yet what you sorely need now, is some time that you can claim as your own. The Full Moon, this weekend, says it may finally be possible. Better times are on their way into your life at last.
Leo: You want to hurry things along - but unless you desire an intense, unnecessary experience of frustration, your best bet is to relax and create a distraction. Turn your attention elsewhere. Explore alternative avenues. Remain able to return, at a moment's notice, to the topic that is preoccupying you so much... but don't dwell on it unless it summons you back. There may be some decisions that you simply cannot reach until something has happened, but there are other things this weekend, that need to be done, regardless of the eventual outcome.
Virgo: What a shame there's only one Full Moon in your opposite sign per year. You could do with several. Or, at least, you could do with a more regular experience of the relief that comes after them. Actually, though, it's not relief that you want. What you want is to be in a position from which no relief is needed. The build-up to the Full Moon is making you wonder what kind of life you are living, why you work so hard to compromise with a certain person and whether a key arrangement is worth the effort. Soon, though, you'll feel a lot better and more comfortable.
Libra: Without a heavy weight on your shoulders, you can skip, jump, hop and dance to your heart's content. For, as long as you carry a large burden, though, you can do little more than trudge. How big, then, is the change that has to come about in order for you to find a joyous sense of freedom? As big (or as small and as brief) as the process of shedding the load. You are contemplating a set of seemingly enormous implications. The move that you actually have to make, though, once you have stopped chewing it all over, is surprisingly tiny and easy.
Sagittarius: For some while now, as you know only too well, you have been grappling with a set of daunting difficulties. You have not been doing this alone. Someone else has been working with you - or trying to. Understandably, given the stressful nature of the situation, your relationship with this person has become strained. It may even be starting to become part of the problem. Jupiter's alignment to Pluto though, suggests a better understanding is about to develop. Ask the questions you are reticent to raise... and you'll get honest answers that really help.
Capricorn: For some while now, you have been under a spell of some kind. You have found yourself unable to avoid irrational reactions and intense emotions. You have been driven by a powerful, unreasonable urge or impulse - which has caused a drama or created trouble. Now, you are beginning to wonder what all the fuss was about. Don't feel foolish. You did what you needed to do - for reasons which, in time will become perfectly clear. Now, though, even the awkwardness in your life is part of a process that can only bring you much greater stability.
Aquarius: There may be a plan - and it may (just about) be working - but it's hardly filling you with enthusiasm. There may be a 'safe, just about acceptable arrangement', but, frankly, you're not inspired by it. Everything is starting to change, rapidly. You've got a shadow hanging over you - but you also can see a bright light in the distance. This is causing you to question old ideas and arrangements. You want to be radical, different, daring, brave, adventurous, innovative, ground-breaking and cavalier. Give it a try. It could be the perfect approach this weekend.
Pisces: So you think you have weighed up all the options and examined all the choices? Think again. The forthcoming Full Moon in your sign suggests there are several surprises in store - mainly of the exceedingly-inspiring variety. One or two of these, though, may take a little getting used to. Don't be too quick to assume that something has started to go horribly wrong just because it is no longer following the plan that you made or the expectation you had. There'll soon be a new way to look at an old situation. This will yet bring a big smile to your face.

just do it Hi.... there's no point at all in not asking her. if you don't, you will always wonder what might have been. by going for it, you will know what you want to know - one way or the other. sometimes you just have to take chances no matter the outcome.
heck if we were all afraid to shoot the puck regarding relationships, no one would score a goal. we'd all be hanging around in our own zone fretting... break free Hi, handle your stick well, control the puck, shoot.. and HI scores...

love running to this song... oh ya...
Please don't talk about love tonight.
Please don't talk about sweet love.
Please don't talk about being true
and all the trouble we've been through.
Ah, please don't talk about all of the plans
we had for fixin' this broken romance.
I want to go where the people dance.
I want some action ... I want to live!
Action ... I got so much to give.
I want to give it. I want to get some too.
Oh, I ... Ohhh I ... I love the nightlife,
I got to boogie on the disco 'round, oh yea.
Oh, I love the night life,
I got to boogie on the disco 'round, oh yea.
Please don't talk about love tonight.
Your sweet talking won't make it right.
Love and lies just bring me down
when you've got women all over town.
You can love them all and when you're through,
maybe that'll make, huh, a man out of you.
I got to go where the people dance.

the latest installment in our quest for a life altering experience
Aries: Life is full of surprises. Not all surprises, though, are full of life. Some take the wind right out of our sails. They stop us in our tracks and even when they have made us stand still, they still leave us wondering exactly where we stand. You have had a few surprises along these lines of late. Now, you are nervous. Something unexpected appears to be happening. What if this turns out to be yet another debilitating development? Don't be so worried. You are due a boost. It is high time you had a little extra heavenly help. Here it comes. Once you get used to it, you will come to love the fresh possibility that arises out of this week's upheaval.
Taurus: Is chess a cruel sport? It certainly torments the loser. There's no guarantee of a quick finish or a merciful dispatch. Gradually, the victor removes the opponent's options until they are still on the board but they have nowhere to go. How frustrating. Unless, that is, the player actually wants to lose. Perhaps they are tired of the entire process. Perhaps they would rather be doing something less logical and more intuitive - or perhaps they would rather be playing a different game entirely. You are being backed into a corner now but the corner in question suits you, more than you realize. Don't just bow to the inevitable, embrace and celebrate it!
Gemini: Remember last week when a hippopotamus flew in through your bedroom window? Well, no, of course you don't, it didn't happen. Just for a moment there, though, you were willing to believe that it might have done. You are dubious about what information you can rely on at the moment. Someone, somewhere, in your world has a false memory and, though you are pretty sure it isn't you, another person is equally convinced that it is! No amount of discussion is likely to clarify the matter. Indeed, the more you talk, the more pronounced those different viewpoints are likely to become. Keep quiet and just trust what you know to be right and true.
Cancer: When you undertake the same task every day, you eventually get very good at it. No matter how complex or difficult it may seem at first, it grows much easier with practice. Whilst, though, it's good to rehearse and refine a clever trick, it's not so smart to keep repeating the same silly mistake. You really don't want a bad habit to become a way of life. This week brings your chance to do what you do best. That is not necessarily the same as what you do most often. If you are confident that your tried and tested technique is the appropriate one to be using now, go ahead and employ it. Check first, though, for a way to profit through doing things differently.
Leo: Why use a battering ram when you can pick the lock? Why pick the lock when, if you only knock nicely, the door will be opened? Mars now forms a harmonious alignment to the Sun. That is going to bestow you with a great deal of determination. You may not, though, need as much of this as you think. A task seems daunting, a situation appears to be difficult, a problem looks hard to solve. This, plus your past experience of struggle in a similar area, you are making a pessimistic prejudgment. Should your path really prove difficult to travel, you will be able to find all the strength and stamina you need. Start, though, in the expectation that it will be easy.
Virgo: You are not another year older, you are another year younger. To be born under the sign of Virgo is to be blessed with the secret of eternal youth. The longer you spend on this planet, the more relaxed you become, the happier you grow and the more fun you have. It shows, too. Where others get wrinkles, you get laughter lines. Something in your demeanour remains delightfully childlike. You don't, though, lose any of your healthy skepticism with the passing of the years. You just grow more able, somehow, to know when it's appropriate to raise an eyebrow - or to raise a smile. This week, will really bring you something to celebrate.
Libra: Your financial outlook looks set to improve soon, as Venus now slips into a new sector of the sky. That is not, though, a promise of endless wealth nor a reason to put more weight on your already overloaded credit card. It's just a comforting indication of an increased sense of security. If you push your luck, it may fall over. If, though, you gently support it with intelligent action and wise discrimination, your fortune should begin to blossom like a well-tended plant. 'Astra inclinant non necessitant'. As they used to say in ancient Rome, the heavens incline, they do not impel. They are now offering you help. It is up to you to accept it in the right way.
Scorpio: Venus is moving into Scorpio. That's a most auspicious development. It implies plenty of planetary protection, heaps of heavenly help. It suggests enhanced popularity; greater powers of persuasion, success with a seduction and access to a veritable fountain of inner creativity. Sadly, though, this is not the only astrological influence on you at the moment. Mars is about to complete an antagonistic alignment to Pluto. This is already creating much tension and apprehension. You are so deeply concerned about a pressing matter that you can hardly think about anything else. Forget it! Enjoy what's good. The rest really will take care of itself.
Sagittarius: Too much coffee creates a very restless frame of mind. No matter how peaceful your world may be, it will cause something within it to seem edgy. Things seem wrong, even when they are quite all right. You will have a sense of urgency even when there is nothing to hurry for. The current, sharp angle between Mars and Jupiter is a cosmic triple-espresso. You can't request a decaffeinated alternative, but you can be aware of the astrological impulse and make an allowance accordingly. Either find something that really needs doing and throw your excess energy into this task or remind yourself that, actually, it is now perfectly safe to relax.
Capricorn: They say we should watch what we eat. They advise us to exercise regularly and avoid various activities that could endanger our well-being. They forget to add, though, that the greatest single enemy of health and happiness... is worry. If we spend our whole time anxiously inspecting ingredients and obsessively escaping potential dangers, we may do ourselves much greater damage in the long run. It is a sense of perspective that you now need more than anything else. You are overly concerned about a possible problem. And that very fear is making a simple situation more complicated and stressful than it really needs to be.
Aquarius: An arrangement is only just working. So far, it is holding up - but you suspect that at any moment it could fall down. The more you look at how flimsy and frail its foundations are, the more you want to take them apart and create something stronger. You are also concerned, though, that if you try to stop and start again, you may create more of a problem for yourself. Usually, if you were contemplating such a situation, I would urge you to heed the concern. Never mind, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. Remember, instead, 'a stitch in time saves nine'. Venus, though, now aligns helpfully with your ruler. Your source of support is less fragile than you think.
Pisces: The deeper the mystery, the more satisfying the solution. The more baffling the problem, the happier we feel when we see a way to get round it. Keep reminding yourself of this. You have not been put in a situation you cannot cope with. Rather, you have arrived at a point that requires every last ounce of your stamina and concentration. You are not going to find your task easy but you are going to find it possible. You haven't got much more than you need - but you have got what it takes. You will only 'fail' if you give up. As long as you persevere, you will succeed. Will your eventual moment of triumph really be worth all that effort and struggle? It will!

^^^^yep, that's very true muffin. a shy someone contacted me, and i am eternally grateful that he did
so take a chance, what's the worst that can happen? they're not interested, oh well.. you can always be proud that you took the chance and didn't leave yourself open to always wondering "what if".

ok, now that's done... put on a
and be sensible.
Congrats to you TEA for aggressively going after your dreams. and i know you heart has always stayed in Albeta.... but daaammmnnnittttt, we are so going to miss you, and pinwiz is obviously beside himself with grief... and furthermore
who's going make me fall of my puter chair laughing
your interactions with 'the boys' has made many of my days when i get home from work grumped out... but hopefully you will still post as often as you can..... so,
to whom are you going to pass your torch of comedic absurdities
and presumably they will be able to rise to the occasion.
anyhoooot..... again, we shall miss you sorely around here... but you know where we are

What's the most trouble you got into in school?
Posted:

picture: my father is a principal in the school district; my mother is a secretary at a school in my district; my mother's good friend is the secretary at my jr/sr high school.
i'm in gr. 10 - a junior
day of senior indoor track meet
i go and inform my gr. 10 science teacher that i will missing science that day cuz i'm going to skip out and go to the sr. indoor track meet.
he says,"i suggest you show up for class unless you are participating."
i say, "no, not participating, it's for seniors only.. but i wanna go watch it."
i skip out with mike and paul, who are also on the junior track team.
3:00 announcements.... uuuuhhhh ya, 1 week DT... parents pissed to the max for embarrassing them like that... double trouble at home.... thought i was going to end up in private catholic school and i'm not even catholic
meh... it was worth it

Astrological Forecast for Sept 3 - 9, 2005

however, I did land a great new job last week... but it took a year of search, search, search to get it....
and ah, if you'd just 'got the job with no effort' Bella, would you be this appreciative of said job? would you be as thrilled? as rewarded?
for instance, before my sign for this week was cast, i anticipated what the coming 4 days at work were going to be like... my horoscope seems to be reflective of it... so now i know some nuances that i can prepare for ahead of time, it's going to be a delicate matter... and i need to be ready, focused, and in tune with the vibes going on. i'm the new kid on the block, but i want what i want... so we shall see... the food for thought approach is the one i am going to take.

* your butt could fall off {hmmm, why do i hear a collective "YES" from the women?}
* you could be sucked into a black hole, never to be seen again {and a collective "YES" from the guys??}
* you could be sitting on a table with an apple in your mouth, ready to be eaten {ok ok y'all... keep it down}
* you could be a mime
* you could like karaoke
* you could be one of those perky people who smile ALL the time {looks around forum, ya we have a lot of those in here
}
* your head could start spinning around like that possessed chick in the movies {TEA, pin, sar... and any number of other guys in here... there's YOUR opportunity}
* you could permanently itch....
* you could be shanghaied into outer space to become some bratty little alien's new pet {yes, i do hear a few south park comments being mustered}
* you could discover that your whole life has been meaningless.. that all along you've just been a part of somebody else's multiple personality disorder
* you could have NO friends, not even on here
* no bladder control
and... GASP...
* no sense of humour {thankfully, most of us on here DO have one
}

Cruisers is under new management, called Beluga's now... like a Tapas bar & grill i think.. not sure what's it's like now, or what facilities they have to accomdate a large group... but just thought i would throw it into the mix... they apparently have a renowned chef.
