You guys are forgetting Iggy Pop, Richard Hell & The Voidoids, Dead Boys, MC5, New York Dolls, Velvet Underground what about all these bands that had huge influences on the Ramones and the Pistols. without these bands, punk may have never come into existence in the first place. Punk wasn't just the Pistols and the Ramones. 'Nuff said.

Dude, you are way beyond right. I'm probably one of those "passed over" guys... and it makes me angry and depressed at the same time. I dont know what I say wrong, what I do wrong, but something always happens to where I become un interesting and I get left or other things... but whatever. I haven't given up yet.

I am sooo fcking confused.... too many people saying too many things that I agree with on both sides of the issue.... I should be more of a*** but I don't know if I could ever bring myself to treat someone poorly, but being a confident nice guy that looks like a badass isn't getting me anywhere...

I dont really know. everyone ive liked over time has been out of my leage and or taken. It kinda sucks really, but to answer your question: for me I think Id rather have the challenge of trying hard to get someone, rather than have them throw themselves at me.

Everyone must read "The Sheltering Sky" by Paul Bowles. I read it and I thought it was amazing! J.G. Ballard is pretty awesome to. "The Atrocity Exhibition" is really crazy, and "Crash" held my interest. Otherwise I read poetry and things like that. I recently finished Dante Aligheri's "Divine Comedy" and I read Homer's "Odyssey" recently as well. Arthur C. Clarke is pretty good, and I love Anne Rice novels.... I'm a sucker for anything that has to do with Vampires.
