there was a young man from scotland who didn't have feet but two hot hands he couldn't write pretty or even half witty but it's better than writing in short hand he was strong and majestically built and kept mighty big things up his kilt his name was john warren and he kept in his sporran his fags and a bottle of milk haggis was his favourite dish and he always ate plenty of fish on this site he's amazed cause the women are shaved and whistle when they take a piss ray

Hi Sweetie It is hard to get lyrics promoted on their own but there are plenty of music writers who are looking for new lyrics to write for. Me for example. I do write my own lyrics as well but I love to write music for other peoples lyrics because it gives me a totaly new prospective and I find it quite inspiring. If you want me to have a go with some of your lyrics then I'd go for it.

I got visited by what seemed to be an evil spirit once and it scared the shit out of me. I was sleeping in bed with my then girlfriend who was six months pregnant at the time. Both of us awoke instantly in the middle of the night. There was a presence of evil in the room that was so strong that it froze us in fear. We didn't evenspeak to each other as we were both fixed to the spot in fear. We both felt exactly the same thing. She then blurted out the words, He'scome for my baby". At this moment I was pulled off the bad forward and toward the window. My feet or any part of my body did not touch the bed as I moved at quick pace. I could feel hands on my arms pull me but I could not see anything. When I reached the window it let of go of me just before I crashed into yhe window and I fell to the floor. It was like it had changed it's mind and had dropped me. I gt up and found my bible and my girlfriend and I left the room to go downstairs. I shouldalso say that there was a srange chill in the room while this was happening. We went downstairs and I contiualy read bible passage and we both prayed for a bout an hour. We then returned to our bedroom and the spirit or whatever it was had gone. We were in shok and went back to sleep holding my bible in my hand. When we woke in the morning we were so scared by the experience and refused to talk abot it. That was thirteen years ago and to this day we have never spoke of it. Our baby was born healthy and he is now 12. I should also say that neither of us had consumed alchohol or had taken any drugs that night and we were not drug users anyway. This is a true story and nothing like this has happened again. It took me years to be able to speak about it and I don't think that my ex ever has.

thanks just jazz for checking out my music. What goes through my mind when songwriting? When I write a song it is always words and music together. What I do is sit at the piano and start playing a few random chords until I am inspired to write a melody which always has a lyric or an idea with it. I never plan what I am going to write but my mood will decide to an extent what type of song that I am going to write. I could play a sequence of chords one day and not be inspired and on another day I will be but the first step is finding at least two chords and write a verse. I always record everything that I do because that first inspiration contains that little bit of magic which can so easily be lost when you return to it. I try and write whatever I feel regardless of how I think it will sound to anyone else. I find it good therapy because I let myself openn up and somtimes say and think things that I didn't know were their. I can get in tune with emotions that in normal circumstances I wouldn't. Therefore when I am writing I am simply expressing myself while letting my mind relax and be honest. I think it's important not to be scared of what you write and I think confidence is very important.

To macoreilly george harrison in 1968 was struggleing with sonwriting and he asked john Lennon for advice. John told him to write about the first thing that he saw when he gor home that night. George got home and he saw a box of good news chocolates sitting on the table. He then wrote the song "savoy truffle" which was one of the chocolates in the box.

In my opinion the seeikng of eternal life is a sin. I feel that we have to give up ourselves in order to be with God and that means wanting nothing for ourselves. It is putting total trust in God and instead of seeking eternall life we shoud give our life up.

Thanks Robert for your detailed research and knowledge. thanks david as well and you seem more versed in these things than i I am from Aberdeen Scotland where the picts were strong and I may be descended from them and I cant believe that I am more cursed than other races of people. I pray and read the bible and God has never made that known to me. I think that either God doesn't exist or that the curse doesn't exist. I know God exists. I just cannot see why God himself would put a wedge between me and himself and I say he has not displayed those actions to me or made me aware of them. Unless oofcourse he is talking through you. If the curse is true then what am I to do about it?.

The main part of my question is. If God brought on the flood then why so sone after would he have been contented with expulsion. It doesn't make sense to me and I do not believe that it is true. I do believe that it is racism started by someone and not God.

Hi panda I use the audio stuio in my magix music centre because I can't work my midi studio that I have got. Therefore all I use the program for is multi tracking and mixing. You asked about the legal requirements of these sites. You do need to check out each sites terms and conditions but the ownership of the music stays yours and none of them can make money out of your music. You would need to get copyright protection on your music before you put it on.

Thanks for those nice comments rob. I agree I need to get the production sorted and that will be the next step. I am glad that you liked them anyway, people are always going on about the John Lennon thing but it is not intentionl. Ofcourse soundinding a bit like him doen't mean that I can hold a patch to the man. Some people enjoy raming that fact down my throat.

Hi rob I checked out your songs at soundclick. they are good and my favourite is "angels amongst us". It has a nicefeel and message and I wouldn't mind singing it. All your stuff has got a nice spirit to it and is meaningfull. We live in an age where anyone who can write music or even just lyrics can say what they want to say and have an instant audience. This is going to change the whole way that music is sold and give the independent artist a chance to get heard without requiring them to be signed to a major record company. It is also good for the environment that we can download an album from a site along with the lyrics and sleeve notes and not have to produce a physical cd disc and case and sleeve and then transport it all around the world. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this. ray
