a FRIEND of mine is the one that said men are pigs....the only one that i feel falls into that category is my ex hubby.... and if any man starts treating me like crap, i usually tell him that i don't like being treated badly and maybe we should end things. just because i don't put up with being treated badly doesn't mean i feel that men are pigs.

some of the cell phone companies have a service called "escapea date". pretty idiot proof to use...you just repeat what the recording is telling you. i've had to use this a couple of times and it does work. also, if you don't have the escape a date thingy, then have a friend call you at an agreed upon time.

yes...it is still an issue... my dad served in viet nam from '68 - '70. he was exposed to agent orange over there. you have no idea how that messed him up. not to mention the flashbacks and nightmares. he came home to protesters that spt on him because he did what he was asked to do by this country of ours. they need to do the right thing and bring them home. all of them...whether they are dead or alive. give the families some closure.

i agree...hanging on to the hurt isn't worth the time or effort. its a grieving process so to speak...and only you can decide when the time is right to move on. acknowledge that you've been hurt...you're not going to give that person the power to keep hurting you....then move on. things do have a way of coming full circle and you'll realize that the person who hurt you will get a dose of his/her own medicine in time.
