Would you work if everything were FREE?
Posted: 10/16/2008 10:06:06 AM
Sounds like youve been watching startrek again ;)

sure id work tho i expect initially most of human kind would do the bare minimum to qualify for their rewards... it would take a massive cultural change for people to work for the common good, luckily im in a creative industry which would mean because i love my work that id always work hard, tho it does mean that without advertising (due to zero revenue) my work would probably be seriously cut down lolz

Political Correctness *
Posted: 10/16/2008 10:00:24 AM
My issues are with self segregation, this is why the government has dropped the "Multi-cultural Britain" moniker... it just doesn't work.

Ive worked with lots of 'minorities' and the for most part we get along like a house on fire i guess my issue is with people pushing their 'faiths' onto other people which sucks because thats a big part of being a Muslim... its the Immams (sp probably) to blame as theyre preaching 5th century values to 21st century people and actively seeking to keep their communities from integrating into the whole... go figure.

Taking a break - what is that supposed to mean?
Posted: 6/3/2008 3:43:51 AM
IMHO being in a relationship is resource consuming, it takes time, money, head space all of which can be effected by outside stuff... needing time out could just mean i need a few weeks to get this work thing/family thing/personal thing over with. for many guys we have walls to knock down and taking time out could be something positive like letting ourselves become more committed or working out where we want to be...

in the past ive taken time out because i was skint! simple as that.

How much of the time do you think about sex?
Posted: 11/4/2007 9:56:55 AM
hmm... so what you're really saying is that without distractions guys think about sex 100% of the time... yep that about sums it up tho not 100% of the time in the low down dirty way you're probably thinking there are many levels to our thoughts on the subject :)

so women are obsessed 50% of the time with shopping and 50% of the time with nosying in on other peoples business (including soap operas and heat magazine etc which i class as fictional or remote nosying lol)

Posted: 11/4/2007 9:50:57 AM
1. yah. oh yah!

3. yep... sounds like it tho if he hasnt said anything more hes either a. worried you dont like him (have you called him out of the blue) or b. does he know about past stuff thats making it difficult to ask you out?

Adaptability – Men and Women?
Posted: 9/20/2007 4:05:38 PM
in my experience its the other way around... women have a fixed agenda and men dont so we're happy to float along and do whatever... women get angry when we dont mould ourselves to their line of dedication and call us inflexible when we're not the ones being rigid!

"are you thirsty" meaning make me a drink

"i wouldnt do X like that" meaning im bored and want to critisise you

then theres the im ignoring you infront of your friends game... that suxx

and the im not talking to you because you miffed me off... only im way too good at that game myself and always fight fire with fire...

why is it they dont call
Posted: 9/20/2007 3:57:06 PM
yeah we're dumb...

maybe youre giving off the wrong signals, maybe heslike most men and really cant read ANY signals

maybe he forgot (yes this could happen too, its nothing to do with you just read my 1st comment)

you seem a little needy... be cool, be relaxed and let things happen, dont persue it or it becomes to much effort and it shouldnt be... you'll also start reading into stuff that arent there,.

leave it a few weeks and call him saying 'so when you gonna pay me back then *giggle*' that should work!

good luck

Posted: 9/20/2007 3:45:46 PM
firstly thats a lyric from a steve vai song :)

im sure they wouldnt be interested in all that old stuff... and anything new would still be old technology and maybe have some nostalgia value if that...

id show em jerry springer, jeremy kyle and other bizzare shows and tell them 'this is what WE think of our selves... are you scared yet?'

also show em space invaders etc lol.
