and a Merry Christmas to you all. I guess by 'room mate' you mean you're living together in more or less the same space? Is that working well, otherwise? It really sounds like you're trying to steer the conversation into a direction he doesn't want it to go, at least yet. If you have something in mind maybe you should just explain that to him rather than circling around the back and asking where he thinks things are going.

But then, if I knew anything about relationships, I be having one instead of sitting here typing about yours.
