Found this little story in a mag I read.
Posted: 4/23/2009 10:20:25 AM
Statue of limitations.
A woman is in bed with her lover when she hears her husband opening the front door. "Hurry!" She says. "Stand in the corner."
She rubs baby oil on him and dusts him with talcum powder. "Pretend you're a statue!" Shes says.
"Whats this?" the husband asks as he enters.
"Oh it's a statue." She replies. "The johnsons bought one and I liked it, so I got one for us, too."
Around 2 A.M. the husband gets up, goes to the kitchen, and returns with a sandwich and a beer.
"Here, have this." He says to the statue. "I stood like that for two days at the johnsons' and nobody offered me a damn thing."

I say its pretty funny.

I don't know about that brian.

After I hit 300. Now after reading mens fitness, getting tips from trainers, and regular people who work out who know their stuff. I lost 60 pounds and now I am at 240. I may not know everything I just know that what I am doing helped me. So I thought it might help some people out.

Itechman42

some basketball player I forgot who drinks Chocolate milk because it has the best mixture of Carbs per protein.

I think it doesn't matter... you need milk in your system.
Its also been proven that drinking milk helps build muscle faster then Whey protein alone.

Tips for the you peeps!

Alright I saw some post and it made me make this post to help out. Its not much.

weight lifting:
1: stretch before doing anything. It warms up your body but its not the only thing you should do.
2: Warm up this should be done after your stretch as this helps your body get ready to weight lift. And it helps reduce the chance to get injured.
3: I suggest you shove in a full body set work out in your place aday.
4: Drinking milk (if you can't buy any type of muscle milk) after work out to help your muscles recharge. I heard if you drink 42 grams of protein after work out helps you burn 10% more calories.

weight loss:
Like weight lifting change it up every 4-6 weeks.
To lose weight you have to gain weight... muscle weight.
Muscles burn calories faster.
Drink water atleast 16 OZ to help your body stay hydrated and it helps burn fat.
Eat less of what you eat, a diet helps for a while then it stops working.
Eat food that makes you full.
Don't eat everything on your plate.
Slowly eat your food don't scarf it down like a pig.

Stress:
do yoga.
take a 30 min nap in the afternoon.
Weight lift, work out.
Talking with your friends.
Listen to your favorite music.
Remember if you can beat stress you will lose weight too.

Hope this helps a little. Just ask and ill be glad to help you out as much as possible.

I have been off of soda, and sugary drinks for 1 year and 5 months. I reduce the amount of desert I eat too.

I had some inspiration to help me get off of that stuff.
My mother and dad.
My scale that hit 300 once
and looking at the mirror.

Im down too 240 now.

treadmill to lose weight
Posted: 4/21/2009 10:18:35 AM
Starsight.

Treadmill is a great way to start running. But don't just stay on the treadmill its like weight lifting you have to change it up every 4-6 weeks. Running around your nieghborhood burns more calories then a treadmill does, and its not as boring.

If you are on the treadmill I suggest you do cardio interval.

Run at a fast pase (don't know if i spelt that right) for 30 seconds, then at a jogging or power run for 1 min. do that about 5-10 times.

LIVING--What was your HAPPIESTexperience or Moment?
Posted: 6/18/2008 8:42:17 PM
Ah CALI its been a while how you doing? Happiest moment is when I came out of my mother and had space to move my tiny arms and legs, OMG didn't that feel great except for when the doc spanked me. But the only time I feel happy or ever came close is when I am with my friends and family. You can't really live with out friends, family or you will feel bad for your entire life. All my stress disappears when I help people and I feel the happiest then. This one time I was walking to my Work out place and I saw this old lady trip and busted her nose bad. She was bleeding bad, I stopped what I was doing and helped he, I stay with her until the ambulance came to take over. I stood with he for atleast 30 mins to 1 hour. I remember this guy who lived his happiest experience or moment he died for it though and I say it was worth it. The story goes like this. He wasn't happy with his life work sleep work ETC. So he decided to sell everything he had! He just bought what he needed and thats it. Spent the rest of his money on something. So he left from his house apartment what ever and took a long walk from CAL to I forgot. People found him dead, but looks like he found what he wanted before dieing from starvation. I hope I got the story right.

What do i do? I dont want to hurt anyone
Posted: 5/20/2008 1:49:09 PM
Seems these guys need to relax. Wow its been a while since i been here. So okay for what you told us. It seems they are jealous, and i know everybody knows that. If they were friends even close ones they should be really supported. You supported them and helped them out, and they are not doing the same for you. You can't make everyone happy yah know. You gain some and lose some. There's no such thing as you can't hurt any one. you are going to hurt some one not matter what you do, even with the ones you try to stay friends with. The thing you can do is go on with life, keep on talking with them, and don't think of the past too much or you are going to hurt your self and your relationship with your BF then you did to those two friends. Don't stress out too much to. so peace for now!

Oh and I didn't look at the other posts.

Why Should we Bother to Save the EARTH?
Posted: 8/12/2007 1:15:54 AM
Our family, the generations after that, ah The earth is gorgeous.

Really there are many reason why we should save the planet.
The problem is that not alot of people care, OR DON'T KNOW YET.

Yes more and more people are starting to realize we are screwing the planet.......really hard! just that even on spare the AIR days there are still people driving to work (carpool is fine).

We are just too dependent on OIL that trying to boot the oil companies out is like trying to kick the US gov't (im sure some of those senators and reps are or used to work for oil companies and made big bucks). I am sure that some oil companies do care and are "trying" to help the earth, by finding a newer and friendly safe enviroment product. Really those multibillion dollar companies can do alot more. Because they have all that "greed" money.

KING OR QUEEN FOR A DAY
Posted: 6/8/2007 1:18:15 PM
Interesting topic here cal.

Well if I was king, I would get every country out of third world. Make a program for people who don't have jobs to get one. Equalize the money here, and make it as one Earthero (LOL). Make a program to help the poor. Raise taxes for the rich (so much money, they can give a little more). Pay our men and woman a little more in the service, samething for police and firefighters. Heck make those prisoners fight in the military, make them go through H*ll as they are supposed to be, and their pay? some money and freedom. Make a program to help with the enviroment, and force those oil companies to make cleaner Fuel or find alternative fuel. Many more don't feel like typing the whole thing, after all this I would resign from my duties and live an ordinary life.

Can we become too spoiled from being single too long?
Posted: 5/26/2007 12:20:09 PM
Have we become spoiled for being single for long? maybe because I have been single for 9 years.

Do we call dating and long term relationships tolerating?? Thats a yes and no anwser.
Yes because people will have to sacrifice some of their freedom for that special some one.
No because it can be a wonderful experience and also fun if you find the right person.

So its truly up to you to define Dating and longterm relationship.

Suppose you were stuck single forever...
Posted: 5/25/2007 10:54:45 PM
If i do stay single. I would do alot of things I can't do in a relationship or not a lot of.

But I wouldn't mind staying single longer. I can pretty much go out with out worring about some one else or worry about your gf or wife calling you etc.

If you are single have as much fun as possible, and make it last. Remember when you get into a relationship you kinda have to lessen your fun or sacrifice some for some one you really care for. <img src=http://www.plentyoffish.com/smiles/icon_201.gif border=0>
