thinker:
I slept on it and I have come up with at few more things I do that might help you...keep in mind I was exactly where you are when I came up with a plan to save my marrage....
1) do all the things I said before
2) I also send my wife a card once a week....just go to Hallmark pick up a dozen or so cards and keep them at the office...then once a week take out a card that is perfect for what you are feeling, writh a note on it and the mail it.....it is very important to do this every week (just like date night)
3) Give her gifts for no reason...now these do not have to be expensive gifts just gifts. Lets say you are out of the office for the day and you see something you know your wife would love...then buy it and take it home to her (no not sexy underware) that would be more for you and not her.
4) go to mealsforyou.com and find a recipe you know she would like...go to the store, buy the stuff and make her dinner. This will be a wonderful think for her. At this web site the meals are easy to cook and it tells you exactly how to do it.
5) Get her an appointment for a massage once a month.
6) Make sure she has the money she needs to get her nails and toes done as needed...This goes a long ways in her feeling good about her self.
7) Once a week give her the night off and you take care of the kids....yes I know you work hard and you are tired when you get home ....but so is she....
8) The key to a successful marrage in is in the little details....make her feel loved ALL THE TIME. Tell her you love her every morning and give her a kiss before you leave work....call her a couple of time a day just to say "I love You"
OK dude the ball in now in your court....time to score!

marriage, sex, and divorce

I don't post very often but on this one ...." I have been there"
I have been married to the love of my life for almost 25 years and I have never cheated...NEVER!!!
However there has been many many times in the past where I really wanted to and had the opportunity to do so...but my better judgment took over and I did not.
What you are feeling is not all that uncommon and a lot of married people go thru this exact same thing....I guess that is why the divorce rate is so high....
Ok look here..... marrage is not 50% 50% it is 100% 100% you both have to give your all to make it last. Communication is the key to a lasting relationship...this means you have to talk it out....and don't be shy tell her how you feel and the two of you discuss way to work it out....
I have also learned over the years that you have to have a "date" night once a week for just the two of you... so get a babysitter on schedule for one night a week and the two of you go and spend time together....many couples fall into a "comfortable" lifestyle where they just go thur the motions of married life and this causes the passion to fall off. Having a date once a week is help restart the passion that you are missing.
so in closing
1) talk it out...work it out
2) have a weekly date night (no excuses)
3) don't cheat....I can promise you the grass in not greener and what you will be loosing will far out weight what you will be gaining

WOMEN: When should I tell her???

Be very careful doing this as a hobby, someday you just might find a nuts case b/f or hubby that does not like what you are doing with his g/f or s/o, but if you charge for what you are doing then they have no complaints afterall they paid you to do this.....and if you really enjoy the artistic side of photography then start doing it for money...now in order to become a "professional" then more than 20% of your income need to come from photograhpy.
As for your question... just be upfront and tell them you do photograph artistic nudes to make extra money.
Aquaman
P.S. A "playboy photographer" does photograph "porn" and it is completely different from "artistic nudes" so you need to recheck your dream which do you want.....porn or artistic.....

I really hope this list was a joke....
If one was to live by this this then one will most likely be alone the rest of their life.
If one wants a true and loving realtionship then just the opposite will be required
and what about number 6 and 9??? seem to be opposites to me and by this are you saying it is not ok for someone to not call you back but it is ok for you to not call them back?

P.S. except number 5 that one is right on track

It's okay to date minors according to this case

If I am not mistaken the only reason she got off so lightly is becasue the childs mother did not want the child to go thru a trial....So the DA did not have a choice but to drop the case so to speak.
Now don't get me wrong here what she did was very wrong and she need to get 20 years in jail. Now it is time to have a few laws changed to that children do not have to go thru a trial and be scared even deeper.

It is sad to say /// but it is going to get worse before it gets better. I say on the news last night that 1 million people will loose their homes by 2010. People are getting into homes they cannot afford and working in jobs they do not like...and don't even get me started on gas prices. But all this put together is making life very hard on folks.
There once was a day when you drove down the road and people would wave at you...now they still wave but only with one finger..and "road rage" is a new term that has only been around for a few years. Are people getting worse??? YES!!! are they going to continue getting worse??? I really hope not!
I really miss the days of old when someone would hold the door for you and if you held the door for them then they would say "thank you" now no one even does this much anymore. The day of Maybury are long gone and it is sad. But maybe if each one of us would work a little harder then maybe just maybe things will make a turn around

OK I did not read all the post so forgive me if this has already been stated
I was told by my doctor that when you turn 40 your brain stops producing a chemical your body needs...and the brain not producing this will cause depression.
There are a lot of antideperssents out there can help with this problem.. I know it was worked wonders for me

So you say your hubby looks at internet porn and you cannot be married to a perv???? And you say you are looking for a bad boy????? So if I put 2 and 2 together you are thinking that bad boys don't look at internet porn and are not pervs>>> HMMMMMM I guess I will have to let that soak into my head for a bit.
Before you ditch your marrage why don't you talk to your hubby...Heck for that matter why not watch the porn with him for a bit ...who knows maybe you will learn something and it will spice up your life and he will not be as boaring.
You right now have two choices the make...
1) do I screw up my marrage and cheat with a bad boy that is more than likely going to use and abuse me or
2) do I sit down with my hubby and have a talk and see what I can do to make things better
Dang!!! sounds like an easy choice to me

I have read too many time on here where women sleep with a guy way too fast and then boom they are gone....just like that.
Beware if you sleep with this guy too soon you just may find yourself posting "Where did he go". So take the advice of other and of myself and hold off on the sex for a long while...if he really is the one and both of you are looking for long term then there is not hurry. Take a cold shower and think with your brain not your heart or feelings.

Is it possible to win a girl over ?
Posted:
3/8/2006 8:27:32 AM
I do over 20 years ago....
I met my now wife at a concert and we danced and talked for a while...I got her number and called her for a date..
We went out and she, so to speak, did not feel the spark at first...so I sent her a dozen roses every week along with a homemake card with some cheesy saying on it.. well after 20+ years I still send the cheesy homemade card to her but not the roses (they have gotten way to expensive), anyway I won my now wife over and we have been in love ever since.
So I say Good luck to you and go for it...just because the spark is not there now does not mean it cannot be there later.

how would you deal with this

OK I don't get it....If a man was to post this he would be slamed out of here and called every name in the book....and you all know what I mean becasue it has happened before....
But when a woman post this you are all nice to her and tell her to break it off. So why the double standard? Some of you called him a cheater but what about the OP?????
People who cheat make me sick and women/men who cheat with a married person make me sick as well...
Girl you are as much to blame for your part in this relationship as he is...who do you think you are messing with a married man? With all the single men out there you choose one who is married...SHAME ON YOU!!!!! Stop what you are doing and leave him alone.

Relationships are very hard work....
I have been married for over 20 years and we have had good times and bad times....I have had times when i thought I did not love my wife anymore....but then I came to my sinces and woke up...
True love is not a feeling it is a knowledge I know I love my wife even when sometimes I don't feel "in love". I use my head and not my heart in those times to get back on track.
In the days of old when realationships were true and people "worked" on it was, to me, a better time...now days it seems like, and I read this a lot on here, that if your mate does something stupid then they are dumped. And no I am not talking about cheating....I have read things like "should I dump him becasue he farted on me?" or "he did not send me candy for valentines, should I dump him?" ...and there are a hundred more topics just like this..
IMHO if people would just get over them selves and "work" at thier realationships then there would be a lot less people here and a whole lot more happiness.
So OT....your sisters b/f is a idot and he will realize this in a month or two and come running back and if he does then tell your sister to take time and talk it out with him....
I wish there were an EZ button (liks in the commercial) for relationships but ther is NOT!
So tell the b/f to quit looking for it and get to work on the realationship and he will be happier.
Aquaman
P.S. Before anyone slams me NO I have never cheated on my wife and I never will....and for that matter we have never "taken a break". We always work out our differences before bed time and never go to bed angry or with doubts or questions on our minds...maybe that is why we have been married for over 20 years

How do I start off...
How sick is he??? Cancer or something like that or worse (if there is anything worse). He has a couple of things possibly in his mind if this is the case.
First he is divorced and maybe a little afraid of "loving again" broken hearts are really hard to get over and maybe is really likes you but is afraid of falling for you and having his heart broken again..
Second: If he is really sick with something that he will die from maybe he is afraid of getting attached because of this....I know if I knew I was going to die soon I would not want to drag someone I care about thru this....and I would shy away no matter what I feel for her.
So I would call him and if he does not answer then leave him a message saying you are worried about him becuse of his illness and just want to make sure he is ok. Start here and go from there

My sob story, so be nice
Posted:
3/1/2006 7:39:55 AM
Hmmm let me drink my coffee and put my thinking cap on:
Well I will start by saying you seem to be a very nice young man and I admire thy way you are handling things.
So I have a few question and then a few comments:
I would assuem you and her parents get along very well after all you are living in their house and sleeping with their daughter, so your relationship with them must be a good one.
Have you tried to sit down with her and her parnets and talk things out about the sexual abuse she had?
Have you asked if you can attend the councleing with her?
Are her parents going to counceling with her?
Only she knows, and then maybe she has no idea, of what is going on in her head becasue of the abuse. Maybe she feels "dirty" and cannot face you. A lot of women in this situation balme themselves for the abuse. I have no idaa why they do this because it is not her fault at all..
Maybe she somewhere deep down blames you are the attack....again I have not idea why she would do this unless deep down she thinks you should have been there to protect her.
If you can I would very strongly suggest that she allow you to go to councling with her.
She is dealing with so much...she is very yourng and to have this happen is very hard on her..
I know I may have not been any help here and I do hope someone who has been in her situation will reply.
Good luck and hang in there...and don't write her off just yet....yes she made a hugh mistake sleeping with this other guy, but there is a deeper reason for this that has yet to be revealed..

What a friend
Posted:
2/28/2006 2:59:44 PM
dang here I go another 2 cents worth.....
I am sure by the time you read this you would have already talked to her.....but if not please do this.
Take with you a singel yellow rose and leave it in the car....if she does break up with you...just tell her to hang on a moment and stay right there....then walk out the the car and get the single yellow rose...and give it to her....and tell her you once loved her and hope and wish the best for her. And leave it at that...no name calling no cussing no fighting just smile and walk away with your head held high knowing you took the high road. I can promise you that will crush her heart more than any cussing or fighting you can do..
As for the friend that is stronger or bigger than you. You have two choices
1) come at him from behind with a big stick
or
2) blow it off and go the the gym for a few hours

Goldigging????????????
Posted:
2/28/2006 2:35:07 PM
ok to start with I do not post much at all here... but this one I do believe need my little old 2 cents worth.
OP... be very careful....you are on the road to poverty......a 100,000.00 dollar years a job is not all that much these days... and you can blow it very quickly. It does not matter how much money you make, if you spend more than you make you are broke.
You said things like spending a lot of time at the poker table...and spoiling girls.....and all this is find and good...but you have to be very careful of what you spend..
You also said you are not use to this kind of money....and sometimes when people start making more than they are use to they start spending like crazy...and before they know it.....boom!!! they are broke....
Here is what I really hope DOES NOT happen to you......
You start making 100K a year....
you buy a hugh house that you can not quite afford
You buy a new car.....
You buy a new boat.....
you buy a new....do you see where this is going.....
So please take advise from an old man who has been there done that, been there again and done that again...and is now learned the lessions of life......
Aquaman
P.S. I know that spelling and typo really piss some of you off but plesas over look it....only thing worse than my spelling is my typing

his house his rules?
Posted:
2/23/2006 11:20:09 AM
you are as your profile puts it......"the nanny". And I might be wrong here but as a nanny you are working 24/7 so to speak. So yes as the owner of the house and the man you work for he DOES have a say in what goes on in his house.
If I were in his place I would not want strange men or women for that matter in my house at any time.
So if you want to date anyone you see fit to date then you will have to do it on his terms, ie: not at his place.
Do you get one day off a week like most nannys? If so then use that time to date outside of the home.
You can alwasy save your money for your own computer and put it in "your" room. As with most nannys your room is "off limits" to the man of the house.
I do believe you need a full contract detailing your job duties and what exactly is expected of you and what hours your are expected to work. This is the only porfessional thing to do and if he is a proffessional business man then he will agree to this, if not time for him to find a new nanny and time for you to find a new family to work for.

Cozumel ?

As of my trip in January most of the damage is cleaned up....althought the "northend" hotels are till damages ie "presidente....and so on.
You will love the Villa Blanca it is very small and nice.. the court yeard is wonderful and the little rest. is perfect and the owners are the best people in the world.
I have been to Coz many many times in fact I have a God Baby there that we are going back to see in April.
Most all the beaches are on the "back side" of the island. A lot of the sand was washed away but there is still plenty to lay on... while on the back side you must stop at CoConuts for a drink and lunch...righ next door is the "plya bonita" beach and a very nice place to spend the day.
Ok things to see and do:
Wow there are almost too many to list but I will give it a try.
Food: for food a little on the expensive but good side try the following:
Prima Pasta: on the square, PePes grill (very expensive but worth it), La Mission (there are two but go to the one behind the square. Gudios very good pasta
Food: less expensive but good as well
Casa Dennis on the square burger and fries are very good. Fat Tuesdays a good place for a drink and snack,
Low end food with a Mexican flavor: dont be afraid to eat from the little street vendors the food is very good and I have never been sick.
Also Tacos Superior very nice local place and they have wonderful tacos....be careful what you order becasue they also serve all parts of the cow head (cabasa del Reys) and that includes the tongue, brain and stomach
Car Rental. If you will go online you can rent a jeep from the airport for about 250.00 for a week from Thrifty Rental...if you only want a car for a day or two go to Less Pay by the Chadalrie grocery store you can pick up one there for about 55.00 a day inclucing taxes and insurance.
Are you going to SCUBA dive while you are there? if so let me know and I can set you up with one of the best dive masters on the island.... but please note that while most of the on land hurr damage was cleaned up the reef were hit very hard
Hope this helps and if you have any more questions please ask

what do u think of me and my profile everybody?
Posted:

Well first off I am not very good at profile reviews but I will give it a shot.
Fist which one are you in the photo? If you are the one with the arms up I can hardly see you…so I might suggest some better photos.
You say: “i'm always up for a good time..but i'm hard to get” hmmm this to me kind of sounds like you are looking for either a booty call or you are just playing games! You might want to be a little more clear of exactly what you are looking for. The term “hard to get” my make some guys shy away from you.
Then you say: “I like sports a lot..but only to the extreme.” it would be nice if you would clarify this a little…what kind of sports…what kind of extreme.
Good luck and happy hunting

sweet one you do not need to worry about profiles or reviews....I have read many many of your forum post and you are one fantastic person all around....
Even if your profile was all "Prefer Not Say" you would still be the "one" for almost anyone..
You are intelligent, caring, sweet and kind. Your since of self worth is beyond reproach, and there is no reason to even comment on your beauty inward and outward. In your forum post anyone can see that you are not only beautiful outside but deep deep inside as well.
So kudos on you being the person you are and your high moral values

On season one the very beautiful but shallow twit picked the very nice looking HOT man…OH by the way he was a waiter that still lived at home with mom , and the guy she did not choose was an average but very nice man,,,,oh any by the was he was a self made millionaire.
On season two the beautiful but again very shallow twit choose the HOT guy…oh and this time around he was unemployed and was striving to be an actor…(yeah right) and the guy she did not choose was a very average looking man who was a successful business man….oh but I did let some satisfaction out of the deal…on the Trip they won she told him she once dated Fabio…well he dumped her on the spot and went home….
So this season…will the girl be a shallow twit only looking for looks or will she open up her heart to a average joe

Neighbor From Hell
Posted:

I have been a home owner for many years and I know all about neighbors….I have had a lot of very good neighbors and a few bad ones…
So my advice to you is this:
First and for most have a talk with this neighbor and tell them your concerns.
1) the basket ball goal must go.. And I mean right now…..
2) I don’t do dogs on my property. If you tie your dog up on my property I will call the animal control shelter and have to animal removed…(do NOT do anything to hurt the animal or you can be sued and/or arrested)
3) The neighbor must pay for the replacement of the tree and any extra cost due to the grass laying.
4) Tell your neighbor that this is YOUR property and that he does not have the right to step one foot on it without your permission..
Tell your neighbor “ I am not sure what arrangements you may have had in the past with the past owners of this house, but this is now my house… and if you don’t mine I will make the rules of what happens on my property” and then say “ I would rater be good neighbors with you but you do have to realize that you do not have the right to remove, install or any thing else on my property”
Hope this helps. And if you still do not get the results you like you can contact a lawyer and have them write a letter for about $100.00 and believe me it will be the best money you will spend.
If you need any further help please feel free to contact via my profile…

LAUGHTER IS GOOD MEDICINE FOR THE SOUL--- LETS HEAR YOUR BEST JOKE

Only a Texan could think of this....from the County
where drunk driving is considered a sport, comes this true story.
Recently a routine police patrol parked outside a bar in
Bandera, Texas. After last call the officer noticed a man leaving
the bar so intoxicated that he could barely walk. The man stumbled
around the parking lot for a few minutes, with the officer quietly observing.
After what seemed an eternity and trying his keys on
five different vehicles, the man managed to find his car which he fell
into. -- -- He sat there for a few minutes as a number of other patrons
left the bar and drove off.
Finally he started the car, switched the wipers on and
off (it was a fine, dry summer night) -- -- flicked the blinkers on, then off a
couple of times, honked the horn and then switched on the lights. --
He moved the vehicle forward ! a few inches, reversed a
little and then remained still for a few more minutes as some more of
the other patron vehicles left. At last, the parking lot empty, he pulled
out of the parking lot and started to drive slowly down the road.
The police officer, having patiently waited all this
time, now started up the patrol car, put on the flashing lights, and
promptly pulled the man over and carried out a breathalyzer test. To his
amazement the breathalyzer indicated no evidence of the man having consumed any
alcohol at all! Dumbfounded, the officer said, "I'll have to ask you
to accompany me to the police station. This breathalyzer
equipment must be broken."
"I doubt it," said the truly proud Texan. "Tonight, I'm the designated decoy!"

Ok so find funny and strange stuff in the news today.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - No one in the U.S. capital is immune to car theft, not even the city's highest ranking law enforcement official.
Washington Police Chief Charles Ramsey's unmarked black Ford Crown Victoria disappeared from a street near his home some time between Friday and early Sunday while he was out of town, a police spokesman said on Monday

Couples who focus on the wedding day - instead of preparing for the marriage
Posted:
6/20/2005 8:23:18 AM
I photograph about 6-8 wedding a month and yes they do spend way too much time in the planning stage…only to watch all their planning do down the drain when something does not go as planed.
Some mishaps that have happened at some of the weddings I have attended.
The flowers did not show up. The florist had the wrong date down
The caterers showed up 2 hours late…heavy traffic they said
The Cake fell on the floor…
Bride lost one of her shoes…had to get married bare foot
Groom got falling down drunk before the wedding
Father of the bride was late…her uncle had to walk her down the isle
One brides made refused to wear the dress said it made her look fat
DJ tired to rule the reception… and refused to play the song the bride wanted
Best man and groom got in a fist fight at the reception
Bride refused to have any of her new in-laws in any picture with her (you know this one is going to last)
And there is no need to mention the little kids…..you know that will never work out…
