How many of you are grandparents are raising their grandchildren?

Yes I am raising 2 of my grandchildren and they are ages 8 and 12 now. I got them full time when the youngest was 2 1/2. I have had to make compromises and given up alot to be there for them but wouldn't change my decision to take them ever. We have our ups and downs and good and bad times but all in all we love each other and are there for each other. Their mother and father are not together and they do see them occationally but they know where their security and love is at.
I know more people of my generation that are raising their grandkids too.

Long hair on older women

I personally feel I look younger and better with my hair long. I have tried different lengths and styles from my natural straight to a curly perm. I think a woman's or man's for that matter style of hair is all up to the person's preferences. I will be 52 in August and when people guess my age it is usually late 30's to early 40's. I love it!!!

One third of older women date younger men

Well, I guess I am included in the 1/3 that date younger men. I find as I get older I am told I look younger than my years. It just feels more comfortable for me to be with someone that looks in their 30's or early 40's. I am going to be 52 in August and most of my friends are in the 30's bracket for age. I don't have a preference to age as long as the chemistry is there. I do agree that age is just a number and if 2 people have things in common and they enjoy each others company all the time and not just in bed then go for it.
