Does the third date rule still stand?
Posted: 12/10/2009 3:44:44 PM
Very left field observation.
I pretty much agree with what most have said- beign an adult, and so on, but- how about the concept that this is the very first step down the road of using sex as control...?
I see sex as a temple to be worshiped at- something that two people can relax into, find each other through, and so on.
I look at it this way- if the intent is there to have sex- then you will both know. it doesn't matter if he waits a few days- you're worth it- right? si this relationship about the possibility of sex- maybe even sex wit a guy you quite fancy on a regular basis- or is it going to be based on friendship trust and respect? and if you are lucky- with a hugely big dose of loin screaming sex thrown in for good measure.

Question for the fellas - how would you feel in this situation?
Posted: 12/9/2009 1:32:07 AM
Maybe your prtner could mould a little cone out of rice paper- or paper mache that fits on the end of his penis. That way you will be slowly and comfortably stretched, and when it falls off- normal humping may be resumed. If the "nose cone" stays inside- it will degrade naturally later- or can be eaten by your partner- yum yum.
Other than that I will go with message 33

Found a girl on POF I have a crush on in real life...
Posted: 12/2/2009 6:38:29 AM
You get a different job- one that she will probably think of you as a better person for- and then go back with a friend for lunch to the same restaurant. Act cool, almost ignore her totally, but smile when you see her- just once. She will be impressed- and maybe want to date you, meanwhile, you run the danger of selling out.

So- is it actually possible to "Get ripped in 4 weeks...." ???
Posted: 11/25/2009 2:38:33 PM
I'm sorely tempted- what do I do- where do I sign up?
Or am I more likely to "get ripped off" in four weeks :)
I mean- in four weeks I will look like a Chippendale- right? Ooooh there's going to be a lot of lucky ladies out there-

Swine Flu Vaccine
Posted: 11/25/2009 2:32:58 PM
some really worrying things about this vaccine- you just need to look for it.
I think in one US State it has been said that it could be/will be LAW to take it- and if you refuse- you will be fined 1000 US$ PER DAY!!
"They" really want you to take this vaccine.

Are you musical at all.?
Posted: 10/2/2009 8:18:37 AM
I couldn't exist without music- I am a prolific songwriter, the lyrics I write are real 1st base stuff, but the arrangements hooks, melodies and all the rest are what I enjoy doing.
Hell I even think Owen Paul's version of "You're my favourite waste of time" is a recording triumph!

dark thoughts

YYEEEEAAAAAHHHHH-
"Hello Mr XXXX. It's the Police here and we are just calling to say we are pleased to be dropping all charges against you. . We understand you are totally innocent, but in our experience this type of woman will get the backing of the courts because of her status and what she does, so it's probably best to try and let it go and keep out of her way- as long as she is not sectioned or a threat to your children we can't do much."
I also have very dark thoughts towards Gordon Brown.

Britains View On Kids Learning Properly?
Posted: 8/24/2009 11:21:47 AM
jesus h crist- i done belife it
Mate- your spelling and grammar is not the best, but lots better than some of the people I have to share the street with day in day out. However- your heart is 100% in the right place, and I put far more store on that than anything.
Reading to your children is sooo important- it is beyond measurable IMO. Funny thing is, children EXPECT it- it's almost as if they are genetically programmed to be read to at night- pity the poor souls that would find it a novelty.
They will love you for it and never forget- and hopefully- they will want ot read to their children too one day..

Sexy pics vs 'no intimate encounters'
Posted: 8/24/2009 12:05:31 AM
The Ridge- I salute you!
You did a great job of standing up for yourself- you asked a sane question, and the female Borg tried to squish you into submission- well done for standing your ground
I totally "get" the original question, and I totally don't understand why women feel they need to superglue their tits to the bottom of their chin for photos, same as I don't understand why there are so many pics of women "wiv me matez" all looking pissed and o the verge of throwing up because their mates are actually suspending them off the floor for that last photo at 4 in the morning at some dodgy niteclub.
You know girls, if you WANT to show us your tits, how about a nice classy bikini shot- as opposed to someone who saw how their 14 year old daughter nad "her matez" take pictures of themselves for Bebo by lying on their bed and gurning for the camera out the corner of one eye with the fone about two foot above their head, while wearing their first trainer bra, that is now 6 sizes too small. When a woman over the age of 17 does that- it just looks ridiculous
Must dash, as I am going up to Soho to get a sequined purple thong for my next photo shoot

France and germany out of recession, why arnt we?
Posted: 8/23/2009 1:01:42 AM
Of course we are coming out of recession. Brown needs it to be so as he needs positive spin for the upcoming GENERAL ELECTION.
It only takes a few minutes to manipulate some key figures to show that the "cycle of recession" has been broken, and hey, WE ARE NO LONGER IN RECESSION.
However- if next and the following months figures are again negative, it will take another couple of months before, Britain will again be "officially" on the downward slope.
In the UK we make sod all, apart from overpriced tiny slave box flats thanks to the likes of extremely greedy lender/developer/builder cartels. We have HUGE restrictions on the public going to buy a piece of land to build a house on, again thanks to those same cartels, but this time add in manipulative Government and Planning depts.
In answer to the o.p. Look around you, shops closing everywhere, companies going out of business everywhere, houses being repossessed everywhere, workers taking salary cuts and going onto 4 day weeks everywhere. These are of course all signs of a booming economy.....
Mortgage resets are about to hit- big time.
Brown is going to go for either a quick election now on the back of this "good" manufactured news, or it will me May 6th- please everyone use your vote wisely.
P.S. don't believe the BBC- or the Government- one and the same- look to alternative sources for real information.

Amusing story- well I found it funny.
A friend of mine has just had to undergo a minor op because a lump has been found.
In the meantime to cheer him up- I told him that if he ends up with a more major op- he can have one of mine..
Not sure he thought that was good idea- he turned an interesting shade of green

Would you do any job rather than be unemployed?
Posted: 8/18/2009 12:11:18 AM
Well I'm currently trying to stop my own business from dying on it's feet due to the recession, and have been applying for quite a few jobs- but when you see 200 people at the same interview- it's kind of disheartening. I don't do interviews very well, and because of my self employed status over the last 20 years, agencies won't touch me.
I can turn my hand to anything, am very good at a lot of things, but it's jsut not happening for me right now.
I am surprised at the amount of women that have replied in a positive manner to this post, and shows the gulf between the mindset of most woman and many men. I am more than a little surprised by the lack of positive male responses tbh.

Neuro-linguistic programming
Posted: 8/9/2009 2:09:00 PM
Very good points Pauline- I hadn't thought about those angles..
The sort of tricks I was talking about where purely ways of making sure you store things in one's memory- I still use them and they have helped me many times- (like when you see a name on a van on the motorway- or meet someone in the street- and you know you have a lousy memory.."
It made me realise just how deep it is probably possible to go with some of these techniques, and as I was being "taught" as part of a high pressure sales course, one could easily think of good information falling into the clutches of "The dark Side.."

Neuro-linguistic programming
Posted: 8/9/2009 1:43:18 PM
I had a day's teaching from an expert- and although I found some of it common sense and impressive to only the genuinely retarded in this life, I DID find an awful lot of value- ie how to remember names or details, simple mind tricks that genuinely help one to survive and function more easily. Thing is, those tricks really work, and they don't harm anyone :)

Debt

Been there got the t-shirt- the stigma- the humility- and the EXPERIENCE.
I now have compassion for those who are suffering for absolutely no fault of their own, or have tried to better themselves and it hasn't worked out, and more than a little contempt for those in society who measure someone by their bank balance and house, car etc.
when this stupid country stops getting off on house prices and new Audi's, we will maybe see that as a nation, we are one step away fom the scrap heap and rearrange our lives and society to reflect a new way of thinking that may actually pull us out of the crap we are currently in.

Posted: 8/8/2009 12:07:30 AM
O.P. It was precisely an ongoing attitude similar to yours, that put the best relationship I ever had on very shaky ground for a very long time. Thing is- it's difficult to know when the next knock is going to come. And gues- what- it's normally in front of friends..
WTF would you come up with those ridiculous answers- are you completely off your head?
I can see the "joke" element, but the real message you are sending is "You are a player- I think you are a player- and will always be a player" therefore as women are always wary of players it's obvious I am just marking time with you."
3am text- NOT GOOD three am texts are one of three things normally.
Friend/family member in serious difficulty- you answer immediately and jump up and down
Friend pissed- but they tend to ring not text
BOOTY CALL.

BT and other call centers
Posted: 8/7/2009 11:33:31 PM
I was on BT for years, before we moved across to NTL when the town was cabled.
It's like a sort of game isn't it SAW for customer help lines. The pain is intense.
Thing is with BT in particular, their deals were always so confusig (ther eis a reason for that) and alwasy appeared after the opposition puts out a better one. The other thing with BT was that their Broadband Modem was C R A P!!!!!!! sometimes I had to switch off and "reboot" the damn thing 2/3 times a day.
When I moved into my new town/life, there is no cabling where I now live, and had to make a decision, and on the recommendation of someone who knows what they are about, suggested Pipex.
Pipex have been brilliant, and the service and modem has been 100%. They have now been swallowed up by Tiscali, but the service remains excellent, and the modem has never gone wrong once in two years.
As for BT payments- I would strongly suggest calling them up and getting a payment card. this is liek a little debit card thing, and if you want to pay off some of the bill, you jsut go into the post office (other places too I'm sure) and hand it over the counter with your PART payment. So in effect you can pay just 5 or 10 quid at a time, which helps very much if you are close to going o.d. and then you can can tell them you have been paying, and they have to knock off the late payment charges etc. Works for me.

Cameltoe- a question men need to ask!
Posted: 8/7/2009 12:33:19 AM
OK Women, this is something that has always intrgued me- an I'm sure other guys too.
When a guy walks down the street and sees a woman with cameltoe walkign towards him, is this by accident or design? I'm sure there are MANY documented cases of 'accidental cameltoe" and some must be cringingly embarrassing for the unaware "victim," and I assume there must be some sort of body shape/clothing cut/fit/stretch etc that can unwillingly accenuate the problem.
But- do women sometimes go for the CT "look?" In the same way women may wear a bra to push their boobs together and upwards as they feel to display the best possible cleavage is highly desirable, does similar thought ever go into the creation of CT?
OR to put it another way- is CT for GUYS benefit- or are we all just wishful pervs

If you women cared about your cats- you would go to the farm Shop and get a cage of Fresh Live Mice!
all you have to do is release one a day into the house. Cat gets exercise, a fresh nutritious meal, and most of all, the whole family has a great time watching the antics as your loving pet does what he /she does best!

How many girls like this band!!! Many women quote this on their profile.
Which is odd as I would have put them firmly into the "Indie" category. I mean they are a bit weird to look at aren't they- Not the average David Cassidy or Will Young!
Maybe if I ever dress up for a date I will go "Leon Styleee"

O.P. I haven't time to read the whole thread in detail, but, you feel really awful that I understand.
However,
"Next day she tells me she hooked up with this guy... She feels aufull..."
I can tell you that you would feel a lot more awful if you had found this out any other way.
Women definitely DO go "wrong" with alcohol, I'm sorry, but that's the way it is. Like boys all climb a car and wipe themselves out against a tree, girls do similar stupid things.
I won't tell you any anecdotal stories because it would only put more worry in your head, but believe me, Alcohol truly IS a mind altering drug to some people.

She's right- you ARE different personalities, and she wants to paint the town red, and you want to save money. Oil and water.
However- I sat thinking what could possibly be her "goals..?" I need a bit of help to work that one out.
