I am from north of Indy and would love to get together and meet some people. It would be great to get out and mingle. I have posted earlier on this one but have not returned in a while. Zabon you are so correct. I would never count my children as baggage. I would not be near the person I am today without them. They are an extension of who you are and what you want out of life. I am so sorry to hear about what happened to you Zabon. But agian you are on the money. You have to put the fear behind. You have to love yourself and your situation. The time will come and everything will work out and come together. Life is a journey you have to embrace the moments and learn along the way. Have fun with it!!

Personally speaking I have a hard time talking to men now is because I feel if someone wants to talk to me they will. If they don't then they could care less. I also see it as what if they are the same way!! It is something I struggle with myself. But you also have to take chances and hey you never know what could happen. They say you have to kiss a thousand frogs before you find your prince. I also come from the old fashion the man should make the first move but I have found there are a lot of men out there that are just as nervous about dateing as I am. Especially if starting over. Well there you have and best of luck to everyone out there.!!!!

The melting pot is a great date place. You have time to talk and get to know the person. Also to go down around the canal. It is a great place to just walk and talk plus there are plenty of options of things to do!!

I am a single mom with three kids. I have been divorced for 6 years. I believe that you have to be happy with your situation and yourself before you can start to date. I have had some wonderful men that I have dated. But if you are not happy with yourself you cannot be happy with someone else. There are plenty of great men out there. You should not have a problem finding someone who will enjoy the company of you and your kids. So don't worry it will all work out in time and you will find the love of your life!!

I can say from experience that once a cheater always a cheater. I have been cheated on and watched my ex cheat on every other woman he has been with since. I can say there is no second chance on this one!!

Well I can't say I agree with you on this one. I am in the same situation I have been a single mom with 3 boys for six years now and still haven't found anyone!! I do believe that there I will find someone when the time is right and it will be worth the wait. It just means you have standards and put your kids first. From past experience I have noticed that people may say they understand you put your kids first but then when it comes down to it they don't like not being number one!! So you have to find someone that can handle that also. It is rough out there for the single parents out there dating!! But hang in there because you will find someone in due time!!!

I do so much agree that you can easily loose touch with the rest of the world. I have the same issue myself. I have so little spare time that it's a big challange to find time to date!! It is very hard to find someone that understands that you have priorities and stick to them!! Especially when there are so many that don't!! Just hang in there because you are not the only one in that boat!!

I know I am ok with dating men with kids!! I have kids myself so I understand the importance of them in your life!! If the woman can't except the kids then she is not good enough for you!!

That is a great idea. A plentyoffish block party would be great!! I work with a marketing group that I can get some great festivals and stuff that goes on and post them!! It's getting that time!!
