IM turns me off.

I personally liked having the IM option. If I didn't want to talk to someone I just clicked no. Doesn't seem like a problem to me. IM had been getting slower and slower last few weeks. Sorry to see this happen to the site.

No IM? Losing Members

If IM is not going to be continued I'm not really interested in staying on this site. Plenty of other free sites still have IM. Makes it much easier to communicate. If you want to know where I am you can still email me.

Stepping out of the box

Same for me. Divorce sort of pushes you out of the box whether you want to go there or not. Gradually I am feeling more comfortable doing things by myself. In the last 2 months I went to the movies by myself and to a restaurant by myself. It's hard to break 25 yr old habits. The first time is always the hardest.

I like the guy to show up in a nice pair of pants or jeans, nice casual shirt/sweater. Clean shaven and smelling good. If you're going to the trouble to take a women out you should dress the part. Don't show up in something that looks like PJ's or been working in the yard.

Hi , I sure could use some help tweeking my profile. I have trouble writing about myself without getting too sappy. I also struggle with describing what I'm looking for in a man. Give me your thoughts.

Hi, I'm New

Hi, I just joined this site last week. Still trying to figure out all the features. I enjoy talking to people, music, dancing, theater, walks, beach. Open to new interests. Looking to make some new friends. Would be interested in a long term relationship with a man who knows what he wants in life, but is also comfortable with what I want in life. Enjoy a man who is loving, caring, romantic, sensitive yet strong. Drop me a line if you want to talk some time.
