I would say your reply is great.
If they start bothering you after that then there is something wrong with them.
At no time are you obligated to reply to any message, but coming from a man"Thank you for the honest reply."
... I like your profile...let me know when you have a beverage so i can start my funny story.

Because for some people it is easier to delete messages and block the user then to tell them you arent interested anymore.
It sucks, I know, but if she dosen't respect you enough to tell you why then cut your losses and move on.

So here is a little back story.
I have been working at a gas station for a little while to make some extra money.
About 2 months ago one of my regular customers admits she has had a crush on me since i started.
I was kind of shocked cause i have been checking this girl out since the first time i saw her,
We exchange numbers and I call her.
I ended up calling her like 7 times and we where really getting along, or so i thought.
After being the one to call every time i start to wonder if she is interested so i stop calling to see if she would call me.
No call.
She still comes into the store and shamelessly flirts all the time.
I havent called her since, and we havent talked on the phone since.
I figured she just wasnt that interested so i blew it off as harmless flirting. I went into work tonight and apparently she has been telling all my co-workers that we have been dating for 2 months.
We have never been out, we dont talk on the phone. The only contact we have is when she comes into the store.
When has that become a dating relationship?
I dont get it.

about 10 years ago a friend and I where walking around in walmart at like 4 in the morning.
We found a machete that was only like $10, so i decided to buy it.
As we where checking out the cashier casually asked "what do you need a machete at 4 in the morning for?"
Without skipping a beat i said " Neighbors Dog"
her jaw hit the floor and my friend was literally on the floor clutching his stomach he was laughing so hard.
Same walmart about 2 weeks later.
Walked around the pharmacy frantically looking at all the shelves like i was desperatly in need of something.
walmart employee comes over and asks if he could help me find anything.
Didnt know i was going to say it till i did but i asked," Could you please help me, Im looking for KY jelly and thumbtacks"
He stood there stammering for like 2 minutes till he realized i was joking.
Same walmart about a month later.
Got really drunk and passed out on the lawn furniture.
The security guy came over and asked if i was ok.
He then said he was going to start his rounds on the other side of the store and not to be here when he returned.
Same walmart about 2 weeks ago.
A friend of mine and I started racing down the isles on those razor scooters.
He was loosing and started grabbing stuff from the shelves and throwing it at me.
I turned a corner and grabbed the first cart i saw. tipped it over letting everything fall everywhere.
He turns the corner and slams into the front of the cart and flipped over it.
Im no longer allowed in that walmart.

Ok, in today's economy there are a lot of people without work... Its a cold hard fact.
After being out of work for a while I finally found a job working at a gas station.
Its not that I have no ambition in life. I have an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts that has helped me travel the country and see some really cool stuff.
The problem I am having is that so many people see these service jobs as bonehead work. I am grateful to have a steady paycheck again.
Many of the customers I wait on are very attractive women who I would love to get to know and spend some time with.
After speaking with them on a regular basis and harmlessly flirting with them I take it to the next step and ask them out, but get blown off just about every time... ok EVERY time.
It hasn't gotten awkward or anything with any of them(they still come in on a regular basis and flirt).
I dont get it, why act interested then dash my hopes?
When I was a working chef I had no problem finding a date for the weekends. Even when I was unemployed I had options, but since I started riding the cash register at a gas station its like I have the plague.
Whats up with that?

How do women WANT to be kicked to the curb?
Posted:
8/27/2009 11:05:16 AM
How about just be honest
This dosent work very well.
I once was dating this woman who seemed normal...until we moved in with each other.
Then I was previewed to her "CRAZY".
After a week of finding out what kind of person she really was I was ready to run for the hills.
I told her that this just wasnt going to work out.
Well to make a long story short, I had to remove all the knives and the cleaning chemicals from the house before I split. Then she calls me to come and get some stuff I left behind.
When I get there I find all my stuff burned in a 55 gal. drum and the cops where there saying that I pushed her down the stairs.
It took 3 years, and countless court hearings before I could get a judge to believe me.
That only happened when I was able to get her to flip out in court.
My advice would be to tell her you are done, leave, and dont forget any of your stuff...And make sure you can prove you didnt push her down some stairs.

Fun Things to Do in an Elevator
Posted:
5/29/2009 3:45:41 AM
When the doors close start freaking out and climbing the walls, yelling "NO!!!! Whats happening?!?! MAKE IT STOP!!!!
Cover your eyes and whenever the doors close pick another person on the elevator and start playing peek-a-boo with them.
superglue a dollar coin to the floor and whenever the elevator is moving ask someone if that is theirs.
Carry a clipboard and demand that everyone must sign in to ride. then ask if they would like to sign up for your bi-hourly newsletter.
Carry a brown paper bag with flintstone vitamin's in it and ask everyone if they want to buy some drugs.
hand out chocolate kisses spiked with laxatives.
pretend you are talking to a doctor on your cell phone and ask "Is t contageous?" then wait a few seconds then say. "Well how long should I be quarentiened?"

So recently I told someone that i have feelings for them.
I got the whole"I think our friendship is great just the way it is" talk, and I am cool with that.
Well recently she has been going out of her way to spend time with me. She has been introducing me to her other friends, we have been out driving around just talking, and we went out to dinner last night... It was my idea while we where out driving around so I paid.
I dont know what to think about the situation anymore. I mean this is starting to feel like a relationship but there isnt any intimacy. I'm reading all kinds of signals like bringing me little gifts like cookies, and small treats. Whenever we are both not working she comes over and we spend most of the day together. The other night we where watching a movie and she wrapped her arms around me and listened to my heartbeat for like 10 min. Im pretty sure I passed the friends test 2 days ago cause she took me to meet some of her older friends and we all had a great time playing board games and just having a good time.
So what I'm confused about is almost 2 weeks ago I told this girl that I was really into her and could see us being a good thing(not in those words), and I totally get shot down, Apparently I was in the friend zone, but now its almost like her persuing me.
I really don't know what to make of the situation cause she told me no but her actions and attitude are definitely saying yes. I'm not the only one who thinks this ether, my roommate has mentioned that she has been all about me lately.
Did I miss something?

I may have just screwed up royally

So ever since I met this woman she has been on my mind. When she is around I get butterflies in my stomach and my brain practically shuts down.
A major draw back is im leaving town in 3 weeks so I know mentally that nothing can come from this.
Emotionally though I want to hold her and be with her as often as I can before I do leave.
Now as I stated earlier, when she is around my brain kind of shuts down. I can never think of the right thing to say, and usually make an azz out of myself.
I send her a message about an hour ago telling her all the things that I have been wanting to tell her since we met.
Im seriously second guessing my actions now.
What if she dosent feel the same and it gets awkward?
I would rather have her as a friend then not, but I have been in this situation before. Once something like this is out there it cant realy be un-done.
I guess I will find out tomorrow since she is probably sleeping at the moment.
There is realy no question for this thread, my mind is just going a mile a minute and I had to unload it before I have an aneurism or something.

I like her but im a little apprehencive.

Ok, so here is a little background.
I moved out here to Santa Barbara about 6 months ago. About 2 months ago I started the ball rolling to move to San Francisco.
Within the last month I met someone that I really like.
She has showed interest in me, and has told my roommate that she is interested in me.
She just got out of a bad divorce and Im not even sure all the paperwork has been filed yet so there is a chance that she is still legally married.
I have never met someone like her, it is like we are 2 peas in a pod.
We share a ton of common interests, and have yet to run out of things to talk about.
We hang out on our days off and text each other non stop.
I would love for something to happen between us but im kinda hung up on the fact that she just got, or is going threw a divorce.
Im not really hung up on the fact, but i see it as if anything where to happen would have to be her decision.
I know what most people would say" wait till you find out till she is still married or not, but my time in this city is becoming very limited. I leave in a month.
Im not sure what to do, I cant bring myself to initiate anything. I tried but i always had that voice saying, "Dude its her decision."
Should I just leave it as it is or should we sit down and have this conversation? I dont know.

what was your first car
Posted:
1/15/2009 6:11:06 PM
My first car was a 2 door '84 Mercury Grand Maquis Town Car.
I got it for free when my grandmother on my dads side died.
When I got it, it needed a new radiator and the passenger side window wouldn't roll down.
I didnt care that the car was the color of a turd or that it got like 12 miles to a gal.
Drove that car for 2 years till I went to college. By the time I got back from college my brother had scavanged some rather important parts from the car so it didnt run anymore.
I still miss that car. The back seat was basically a couch. The roof fabric was coming down so we started using the celing as a post board.
I got into and out of alot of trouble with that car.
Just for the record: An '84 Grand Marquis town car WILL catch air going 60 over a bump over 2 inches tall

50 fun things to do at walmart
Posted:
1/6/2009 10:34:31 PM
I once went to walmart at 3am and since they had machete's on sale for $10 I bought one.
At the checkout while I was being rung up the cashier asked why I was buying a machete at that time in the morning.
Without skipping a beat I gritted my teeth and grudgingly said "Neighbors dog"
You should have seen her jaw hit the floor. The guy behind me almost pee'd his pants from laughing so hard.

Is winking at someone now concidered creepy?
Posted:
12/16/2008 5:05:13 AM
Ok so now my question is what other things are concitered creepy?
I still don't get it though. whats so creepy about a guy throwing a wink at a woman?
My parents met that way. My brother got married to a woman he winked at in a bar.
Its crap that a beautiful person has a diffrent set of rules.
Then again if a beautiful person asked a question of a moderator they would probably get an answer instead of having their thread deleted like i constantly have.
Oh no now this thread will probably be deleted cause i mentioned that....
P.S. are you implying that im not beautiful?lol

Just got done reading your profile.
Go threw and fix the spelling and gramatical errors. There shouldnt be any in your profile cause that is how you try to sell yourself.
I wouldnt have that line about fighting over the remote. You probably ment it as a joke but it sais that you are a couch potato.
I would also loose the line about just getting a couch. It makes you sound poor and that this was such a big step for you that you felt compelled to add it to your profile.

Is winking at someone now concidered creepy?
Posted:
12/16/2008 3:01:52 AM
So I was out with a couple of friends the other night and there was a woman there that caught my eye. I made sure i had eye contact, smiled, nodded, and gave a quick wink.
I guess one of my friends saw this and later when we were in his car with 2 other friends we got into a conversation about winking.
The demographic of the car was another male and myself, and 2 females.
Apparently winking is concitered creepy. I didn't know this. I always wink. mostly to help express my interest but there are other occasions.
Hell I was in a 2 year relationship once that started with a smile and a wink.
So what im asking is " Do you thing in todays age that winking is concitered creepy? and if so why?"
I did do a thread search on this and nothing relevent came up.

Does `gaydar` really exist?
Posted:

I disagree. I don't think you have to be gay to have gaydar. All gaydar is is the ability to pick up on certain manerisms.
Im not gay or bisexual but i have a gay friend that i spend a good amount of time with and have learned to pick the gay person out of a group. It isn't that hard, you just have to pay attention.

I have seen this as well.
I was at a friends house and we where sitting around telling jokes.
This one girl walked into the room with a huge grin on her face and walked over to the guy sitting next to me and started grinding her heel into his junk.
She was laughing all the time and he was obliously NOT enjoying it as he started throwing up.( YES testicular pain will make a guy throw up).
All the guys started yelling at her and 2 other girls started yelling at them saying it was just a joke.
Later that night he had to go to the hospital cause his nutz where swelling.
She had the audasity to be upset when a cop was knocking on her door the next day to arrest her for assault.

Hey man. Rest assured that I got your back on this one.
She lied to you about a rather important subject.
She violated your trust and had one of her friends lie to you about her age.
You could have ended up in jail and labeled a sex offender if her parents wanted to push the issue.
Dude dont worry about it. I mean seriously do you need some 17 year old kid hanging out bringing all the drama that young females tend to bring with them?
No you are not a Jerk. She is immature

missed signals
Posted:

When I go out on the town im out to have a good time with good people.
There have been many times when after the night has ended I get grief from my friends for not making a move on the chick that was eyeballing me.
I honestly never notice these things.
I guess when i am out to have a good time i get a tunnel vision on the people i am hanging out with.
This brings up 2 questions.
If a guy missed your signals earlier in the night is there still the chance for him to get to know you?
What could a guy with this problem do to help be more aware of the world around him?

my favorite joke

An elderly couple went to the doctors for the husbands 6month physical.
After the doctor completed the physical he proclaimed the man to have a clean bill of health.
The husband went into the other room to change back into his clothes.
While the husband was in the other room the doctor asked the wife" Is there anything that you have noticed about your husband that you feel should be mentioned?"
The lady sheepishly looking at the floor sais" Well, our sex life has been a bit lacking lately."
The doctor walks over to a drawer and pulls out a bottle of pills. Handing them to the lady he sais," Put one of these in his coffee every day and your sex-life will be phenominal."
The husband comes back in and they both leave for home.
The next morning the lady starts to brew a pot of coffee. As she drops in a pill the phone rings. While she goes to answer it the cat comes by and knocks the whole bottle of pills into the coffee.
About 3 weeks later a man in his mid twenties walks into the doctors office and gets in the doc's face.
He asks, "Hey man, are you the jackass who gave my mother the pills for my dad?"
The doctor proclaims." Yes i am, is there a problem sir?"
"Yeah there s a problem!" He sais "My mom's dead, my sister's pregnant, and my dad s in the back yard going , Here kitty, kitty, kitty."

The only thing I can come up with is use capitol letters where appropriate. It might not matter to you but trust me it matters to the women.
Other than that it sounds good to me.

Marriage is beyond a religious ceremony..You can get married by the justice of peace...
Yes at this point marriage is beyond a religious ceremony, but it has its roots in religion and for the majority of the world it still holds the christian stigma.
You can get married by the justice of the peace.
Marriage comes with many benefits granted by the government, Tax breaks, legal right to property apon the event of death, right to life insurance benefits, and many others.
Domestic partnership, which is granted to the gay and lesbian community has few if any of these benefits.
Now yet again i will encite Brown vs. United States.
Seperate but equal. All the gay and lesbian community is after is the same benefits from taking a life mate as everyone else gets.

Evolution....evolution is only founded on the jaw bone of they presume an ape...JUST A JAW BONE.. Thats all..The rest is theory.
Have you ever heard of lucy?
Lucy was found in an ancient dried out river bed in south america where the skull, pelvis, and a femur was found almost 60% preserved. DNA and carbon dating have proven that she was the link from the great apes to the neanderthals, dating to a time frame narrowed down to 15000bc to 13000bc.
like I said....study Bible Prophecy and you will see that the Bible is full of wonderful truths....and future predictions that prove it true...
You assume that i have never studied the bible. In my 3 years at Carnegie Mellon University I minored in Religious Philosophy. For 3 years i studied the major religions of the world. Ancient Egyptian, Ancient Hellenic, Ancient Roman, Ancient Sumerian, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Christianity, and Later day Saints.
In my studies i have real the religious text from all of these.
Did you know when the new testament of the christian bible was written the original text of the old testament was in a language that had no direct legible translation. The people who re-wrote it had to take many liberties in the direct translation of many of the scriptures. As an example "Thou shalt not kill" is no longer believed to be the direct meaning of this commandment. The meaning of this is now believed to be " Thou shalt not murder".
The bible was also retranslated in the 1400's wich is where we get the King James version of the bible which is the version that is used the most throughout the world.
Im not one to bash other peoples religions but if you want to get into a religious discussion i am more than ready.
Please stop saying that the gay and lesbian community has some secret agenda because they dont. If you feel there is some hidden agenda then you must be paranoid. If there is an agenda then show me proof.
You said that Schools Have to teach marriage.
With schools teaching students everything from how to balance a checkbook to the proper use of a condom, it was probably only a matter of time before curricula included a how-to course on staying married. Critics, however, wonder about the usefulness of such courses at the same time that U.S. schools are losing ground to other industrialized nations in science and math.
In the last four years alone, more than 40 states have instituted marriage education classes for middle school and high school students who feel like they need a primer.
An article in Time magazine spotlighted a sample wedding "ceremony" in a Sacramento, California, high school. The class paired off into boy-girl couples, and the teacher asked each, "Do you promise to be truthful and honest to you partner … until the course ends on June 10?" The couples answered "I do" and exchanged plastic rings.
Most marriage ed courses try to teach couples better communications skills and conflict resolution, often throwing them situational "curve balls" - like an unexpected pregnancy or a lost job - in an attempt to instruct them about walking through such difficulties together. Educators who favor such classes believe they will help young people avoid some of the pitfalls that can split a marriage.
"In a consumer society where people have the facts about models of cars or refrigerators, it's only fair to give [students] the facts about marriage," said author Barbara Dafoe Whitehead, who helps head the National Marriage Project at Rutgers University.
But Diane Ravitch of the Brookings Institute rejects this giddy embrace of the latest educational fad. "I know of no evidence that marriage courses lead to better marriages. But I do know of a great deal of evidence that schools are doing a poor job teaching math, science, history, literature and foreign languages," she said.

According to this article from time magazine last year it sure sounds like an elective course to me.
Im sorry but if such issues are to be addressed in school and it is an elective class late middle school and high school are the perfect times. It has been proven that 99% of our personal views are set by the time a person is 13.

Ok so now I'm going to bring up something that was originally used to desegregate schools.
SEPRATE BUT EQUAL!!!
The gay and lesbian community has nothing equal to the sanction of marriage.
As stated above, why do Cafifornian schools have to teach marriage. it is a religious ceremony. last i checked you cant push religious views apon children in a school unless they where in a private religious school.
They cant teach evolution in school which is founded in science and has been proven because some religious people have faith in intelligent design.
Evolution is no longer a theory people... we have found remains of the missing links from us to the great apes, but because a book that has been re-written probably thousands of times states otherwise our children cant learn about it.
Whats next? no space exploration because that is where god lives?
By the way, in responce to the gay and lesbian agenda...
I live with a gay man as my roommate and have many gay and lesbian friends...just for the record i am straight.
The only gay and lesbian agenda that has ever been made clear from any of them is the desire to have the same legal benefits that marriage provides.
What would you do if your better half passed away and you where told you had no right to any momento's or life insurance to help with the funeral just because the government said that you shouldnt have been together.... Now that is just WRONG

What ever happened to separation of church and state?
For months i have been hearing arguments for both sides, most of the arguments for prop 8 have had to do with the christian belief that homosexuality is a sin and would be an insult to god to allow it to happen.
Thats all go, believe in your religion and stand by your faith, BUT once the government started giving any kind of benefits to married couples, such as tax breaks, marriage became a legal status. Where dose it say in the constitution that the government could deny a rather large portion of our population the same right that others have just because they love someone of the same sex.

well in my opinion they vote fixed in Ohio during the last election. At the time i lived in Ohio.
Working in country Clubs gave me the oppertunity to speak to people from many diffirent economic and social backgrounds. Out of the hundreds of people I talked politics with that year i only met maeby 5 people in Northeastern Ohio who was voting for Bush over Kerry, but bush took Ohio.
They have started it again this election. Many people in Ohio have fallen on hard times, companies who where employing thousands of residents up and moved to other parts of the world. leaving many jobless and eventually homeless. The republican party has petitioned for all the people who have lost their homes to loose their right to vote because they no longer have a permanent address.
Thats about 1 20th of the residents of the state, mostly liberal democrats.

Who do you plan on voting for and why?

Personally i am voting for Obama.
It mostly has to do with the whole war issue. Obama wants to start to exiting iraq where as McCaine wants to send in even more troops and spent even more money on it.
I also think Obama pwned McCaine in all of the debates. I like that guy he has moxie.
