I have a friend who is chatting with a young lady, she tells him that he is sweet and that she likes getting all of these presents from him. She sends him links to web sites of things that she would like for him to get her. He is going through nasty divorce right now and in the process of selling his business to the company that he is working for right now. I feel that she is just using him to get all of the things she wants. They have not met face to face yet, they are meeting next month where she lives. She has told him that she cant wait to meet him, but I have this feeling after this trip and another trip he is taking her on in January that she is gonna just tell him to take a hike and not ever talk to him again. I think she is just looking for a sugar daddy to give her all the things her ex could not give her. I need some assistance with this. I dont want him to get hurt and have his heart torn up any more than it already has been in the last 3 years of his marriage. ~~~~QT~~~~

I need help, I have this friend that has been in this on and off realtionship for the past year in a half. I feel that he is just the go to man when the other guy does something that this chic doesnt like she calls my friend to come make it all better and tells him that she wants to spend the rest of her life with him then the other guy comes back and makes everything right by her and my friend is out again. For the past 4 weeks he has been doing this whole cycle over again and everytime he does it I keep telling him that he is making a mistake and he keeps telling me that this time it is different she does want to be with me. Then again he gets put out and tells me that the next time she has to prove to him that she loves him and that she wants to be with him. I just cant seem to get thru to him that he has to quit playing this High School game that she is playing with both of these men. Now this time he has came back to his place and pretty much loaded up all his stuff and moved it down to her place I told him today that he just needs to pack it all up again and move back up here to where he belongs and move on with his life and get out of this game I even offered to help move his stuff back up to where he lives. I told him today that he is lossing a very valuable friend over his actions am I wrong in doing that cause it kills me to see him treated the way he is being treated or am I doing the right thing. I need some good help with this one..

Looks should not matter it is what you can bring to the realtionship and what is on the inside. Judging someone by their looks, weight, realigion, hair color, smokes or doesnt, children or not is all wrong. I know I am fat but I have no problem with it and if someone that I want to spend the rest of my life with has a problem with it then they are not for me. I feel SO LUCKY for our children cause they have a parent that cares about them and doesnt go around bashing MARRIED PARENTS OR SINGLE PARENTS for that matter.. You really need to look at your life JOAN cause it doesnt sound so wonderful if you are on a dating site BASHING SINGLE PARENTS, do you have any friends that are single parents? If you are happy then your family and parents should be happy for you, cause that should be all that matters to then that you are happy. We all do things in life that our family and friends dont like but they learn to get over it. Make your visits with your family short when you are with your mate. I know how you feel smitty, I am in the same perdictament myself.. I am dating but it is hard, I keep thinking of how much fun this would be with him what could him and I do to make this mor intresting. But he has his heart with someone else and everything I do or say he just doesnt get the hint that this person is not right for him and this person is just going to hurt him. I mean this other person has done it again and again but he refusses to settle with me. I am trying to let go but it is hard but I am doing the best I can. It all takes timing you have to know in your heart and soul that you love that person with everything you have to know for sure that he/she is the one. My last b/f told me he loved me before I told him that I loved him, I didnt have to keep it to myself cause everyone that I know, knew I was in love cause they could see it in the way I changed in my face composer and attatude. But it is all the timing thing if the timing is right and the new person is right for you then you will know that you are in love..

Well so far since I have been on this site I have had three dates. So far I still talk to one of the guys from here ir was nice but there was nothing there we are going to remain friends. Ace it does hurt alot but sometimes you have to come to the realization that sometimes you are better off as friends then you are as lovers.. Everything does hurt. I broke up with a man last year about this time and it hurt alot.. We didnt talk for quite awhile but now we are talking and we are realizing that we are so much better as friends there are times that it does hurt when I see him or talk to him that I would like for us to be back together but I know in my heart that it will not happen. I understand where you are coming from when you say that you hurt. Dont feel shitty cause you broke up with her, you only did what you thought was right for your heart and life to be friends then lovers. QT

Yes I do!!! I have the most wonderful boss I couldnt ask for anyone better, he is so flexible with my schedule when it comes to my son and things my son has to do like sports, school activity, or anything else that might pop up. He also understands when my son is sick, there are times that I need to bring my son into the office if I need to. So yes I would say I have the perfect single parent job.. QT

I ARGREE WITH YOU BEA UTY DRAGONRIDER IS A VERY WISE MAN. As for men assuming that single moms are looking for new fathers that is so not true, Single moms are looking for companions for themselfs and friends for their children not fathers. I must say the last man I dated was more like a friend to my son then he was a dad/father, my son knows who is father is and he knows that no one will replace his father. My sons father has a saying and it goes like this. It takes someone special to be a Dad but only one person can be a father.
