The door to my heart is open

you're welcome to come right in

I'm searching for a playmate

that would like to be my friend



I offer you this single red rose

to represent my lasting love

I'm really seeking a new angel

that lives in the clouds above



he needs to have an imagination

and visit me at night in my dreams

the two of us could fly together

and chase the moonlit beams



We would shine like twinkling stars

while making wild sweet sensual love

flying all night with widespread wings

until we greet the morning doves



Would you like to be that friend

and own my heart that's true

then please accept this single red rose

as I pledge my undying love to you

The Purple Pen



There is a poet that I know

that writes with a purple pen

all the poetry that he writes

are from passion deep within



All the ladies fall for him

and believe in words he writes

his motive is to bed them down

so he's not alone at night



They surrender to him with love

and believe this romantic man

they leave with their heartbroken

he's destroyed them all he can



He writes sonnets with poison ink

from the well of the purple pen

and melts the heart of the female

lusting affairs are just a whelm

Just A Weed



Absolute brilliance of natures glory

as shown in this magnificent flower

The Daisy appears to be just a weed

but it's petals and crown hold significant power



He loves me, he loves me not

we play the childish game

But when all the white petals are removed

the crown of gold on a stem remains



Peace and patience the white petals cry

sun shines in the crown while we soar

It's only a weed we tell ourselves

it's beauty and message we ignore



So when we play this childish game

and pulling the white petals we lose

Do not discard the crown without thinking

our hand holds the sun of the life we choose



He loves me, he loves me not

we should not measure our life to succeed

For the Daisy carries a powerful message

Angels with Broken Wings



when we raise our borne angels

we expect them to fly

we have high hopes when they are small

they will mature and wave good-by



we nourish them through their teen years

educate and wish them well

the strong ones find their niche in life

the weak don't do so well



we push them and prompt them

while they hesitate to fly on
