And next thing I know a few weeks of talking goes by and we are ready to meet in the near future when at 11pm I get a call from some lady asking to speak with me. She yelled at me and called me a pedophile and a pink panty pervert.... And I said what? Who is this? I don't appreciate you calling myhouse and talking to me in a condescending manner. She tells me that I have been exchanging messaged with her 17 year old daughter on a dating site and she has read all of her messages and was going to call the police on me. I asked for the screen name and then said what are you talking about? Go to her profile and read how old she says she is in her profile? She reads 19. So your daughter lied to me about her age. how was I supposed to know. Its a dating site where everyone must be 18. I'm not a creep your anger is with your daughter, I'm as shocked as you are. She yelled at her daughter, apologized to me and hung up the phone. Underage users are a problem. But we are stuck to using our best judgment and carding our dates.

I even had women lie to me by hiding the fact they had kids until telling me over the phone after multiple conversations. Its seedy. I don't want anyone who got knocked up. sure Seth Rogan is funny! But I am not supporting someone else's kids. I love children but I always wear a condom because I don't want any until I am married. If you can block married people why not allow blocking women with children.

I'm not religious but I put my religion as Jewish in my profile. But Judaism is also a cultural thing even though not considered a nationality it is a culture. I find a lot of women who put "other religion," are Jewish or just non religious. Atheist means you are against religion and agnostic means you don't know. Why not make a new option called secular. Meaning you are non-religious?

Testimonials stink becuase onyl people in your favorites can give one. A bad date would no longer be in your favorites or one that did not work out. The only people who give testimonials are friends of the person. You really cant; trust a friend who ahs nothing but good things to say about them. No honest criticism. there needs to be a button that you cna click if you dated a person followed by them clicking on it in their inbox to agree to that. then they write a testimonial for each other. I always pay on the first date. During tough times I go dutch if we have been dating for a while such as if I lost my job. Sometimes I get treated. but that's for long term relationships. On the first date the guy should always pay. Only an amateur or a cheapskate jerk would not pay for the first date. I obtained my A+ certification September 2008. i am very proud of it. i studied ofor over a year taking 2 courses one for the hardware and one for the software. I took the essentials and the IT technician. It was not cheap. I think it was $180 for both tests. I also got a3rd party book called A+, network+, and Security+ in a nutshell. One of those Oreilly books with the animals on the cover. this one has a picture of a Beatle the bug not the one who married Yohko! I am going for my Network+ in the next month and then my MCP. its a tough job market out there. I wish you luck! and a dancing plantain for your troubles!

You did not specify a price range or whether you want a laptop or a desktop. For what you are doing if you are just surfing the web and storing stuff you download and streaming video. Any computer with a modern day CPU and a decent amount of RAM will do. I recommend 2GB of RAM for today's applications. the more the better. Any CPU is fine. As for hard drive space how much do you think you will need? Most people have what 10-20GB of music? You need not spend a lot of money. Brand does not matter too much. you should go to a store see what you like ask questions but don't buy. go online and see what's cheapest or buy directly form the manufacturer. Stores charge a mark up.

The PS# is overpriced and does nto really have any must have games. Sure it has a blu-ray player which is cool but still even Blu-ray Movies are $10-$15 more over DVD and $20-$30 more for a box set! I think digital downloads will overtake blu-ray even though there will always be some kind of disc format. Blu-ray prices need to come down. the media has to match the price of DVD and the players have to be $100 which I don;t see happening till the end of the year if not next year. The xbox360 has Halo 3, gears of war, and many others. The wii has classic games and mario everything and is cheap. What exclusive games does the PS3 have? metal gear? Name something other than metal gear?i can't!

I think it would be great if every user could upload a 30 second videoclip of themselves via a webcam or camcorder. I think it would be great to watch a video of someone introducing themselves. You get to hear their voice and see them as they are instead of jsut cropped photos that usually stink. I don;t know what kind of strain it would be to the POF server or if the storage capacity is available. Anyway it could be ad supported as well. I just think it would be a cool feature. Or at least the ability to link a youtube post. Of course it would be moderated.w e dobn;t want to see viral video! just a person talking about who they are.

I've had that happen all the time. You go ona date with someone you met on pof and you hit it off you make out maybe get a handhob or BJ. Next thing you knwo they won;t return your calls or dont; want to talk toy ou and you never find out what happens or you get a call he next day saying that they are not over their ex or not ready for a realtionship. Either they are getting backw ith their ex ro not over their ex or are already dating someone and they were using you as a back up. Either that or they came with friends and their freinds badmouthed you with some old highschool rumor form over 10 years ago. Damn townies! That is most of my experience with online dating. Either they live too far away and it becomes too expensive to maintaint he relationship or they are not over a previous relationship and are daitng whent hey should be taking "me" time. I tend to get over things almost instantly and just move foward. I kind of live in the moment. There are some things that raise red flags such as if the woman has many guy friends more than female friends and tells you that she used to date most of them or all of them at one point or another. If she is constanly unavailable after spending lots of time with you. Or cell phone games whioch sucks.

It also gets a lot of things out of the way such as nervousness and allows us to feel close. Some guys do only want one night stands. Some women are like that too though. I can go to a bar flirt it up and get 5-10 numbers they willa ll be legitimate numbers with their voice mail picking up but they won;t return the calls or pick up the phone and insit on texting or playing cell phone games. Its complete BS. Women need to stop playing games and pick up the phone. Start enjoying life and not jsut being teases. Men need to stop worrying about commitment and let things happen. Men go for convenience realtionships for one and secondly, We don't like games qwe like to be direct. Yuo are right my parents met at a jewish singles dance. I don't think they even have those anymore... These days people act like the prom is the biggest deal. You pay a lot of money for tieckets, maybe a limo, and spend jhundreds of dollars on clothes you'll probably never wear again. All for what? I never went to my proma nd my parents never went to either of theirs. My Dad is 13 years older than my mom. There was no internet in their days and in fact There wasn't internet in my days either. At least not a viable internet for the public. In fact I hated the internet until 1998 when I first used cable broadband. I hated dialup always getting disconnected and the slowness of it all. It would take 30-90 seconds to connect and you would get kicked off the internet every 5 minutes. When it comes to dating I met girls at the town pool during the summertime in highschool. And when itn colleg eI met girls on campus randomly flirting or at the mall ramndomly. Never had much luck in bars. I always get phone numbers but then they don;t pick upthe phone even though its the real number beuase you hear the message. I have luck in meeting women in person and talking. I am a bit unusual and you have to know me ro get my sense of humor. I think that fear of meeting holds many women back. they hear a story of someone getting murdered after meeting someone online in person. usually its an underaged girl meeting someone in a secluded place froma social networking site and not 2 adults meeting in a public place for a date. I ahve been in many realtionships. And I think the only thing holding people back are the peiople themselves being unsure of themselves or being afraid to meet and something great coming of it becuase of a few negative experiences. THen you get the ones who fear realtionships when everything goes great. You ahve a nice date or 2-3 and then they dump youy saying its not you its me or some other lame excuse. Yuo ever get that? You go on a few dates get to know eachother maybe she gives you aBJ or you have sex. YOu just enjoy eachtoher's company, maybe you meet her family or friends... Its really a fear of commitment on their part. People don;t need to have the same hobbies or like all of the same things. in fact if we did it would be boring. To me a girlfirend is liek abest friend that you kiss and cuddle and have sex with. You can just enjoy eachother's company and be happy doing anything it can be any activity or even inactivity. In summary online dating does not cause people to be single, people ahve been single since the dawn of time. you are single tilly ou meet someone. I ahve a crappy retail job. I have no debt and no colelge loans to pay backa nd am currently enrolled in college. My parents pay. I ahve a nice car that is fully paid for. My crappy job does not say how much money I have. And my temporary profession is not my career. I have not even started my career yet. Noone has the right to look down upon me becuase I make $9 an hour while I am in school. Or mistreat me ebcuase I am behind the counter. Ia m going to start my career in Information Technology soon. And even when I am making 6 figures It does not say who I am. I'm that wonderful guy who is fun and intelligent and likes nothing more thana good meal, watch a movie and cuddle. Not evberyone is shallow but many are. I one time dating a girl who wanted me to move in with her after only being together for a few weeks.

these stories are BS becuase these women are 12 and 15. they are young.y ou have to be 18 to be on a dating site. So these women lied to get on the site and intentially flirted with older men. Notice that there is always an age discrepency between offender and victim. The victim is almost always under aged. And the offender uis usually some older middle aged man. they don't say what dating sites were used. and usually the information is misleading as its not a dating site but a social networking site. Such as facespace. The rules of any dating site is that you must be 18 years of age to be a member. so are these girls lying about their age and talking to intentially to older men? mypoint being is that meeting people online and then in person is safe if you are both adults. Just meet ina crowded place with people Where you cna keep an eye on your drink and talk and get to know the person. better yet you cna bring a friend and make it a double date. it makes things even mroe safe. And fun.. or bad if your friend does not like the other person's friend. One time I showed up late to my date. becuase my mom borrowed my car without asking. She does this all the time. Anyway When I got to the date the girl had already eaten dinner with her friend and we did not hit it off. she was distant and seemed like a liar whow as nuts abotu me online but totally not interested in person. I gave ehr a courtesy call in advance. I ahd the same problem with another date who ended up not returning my call after the courtesy call saying Iw as going to be late when I got my car back. So my mom ahs sabotaged me. I have had some womenw ho showed up late or did not show up at all and did nto give me courtesy calls. I hate discourtesy. I am okay with lateness as long as there is a valid excuse and it is delivered to me before I go and wait. i won;t wait mroe than 30 minutes then I leave and try to pick up other women in the vicinity or go home. Why waste time mournignwhat could have been? I have ahd late dates but its not a date kiler as long as there is a courtesy clala nd its not longer than 10 minute wait. After 10 minutes I worry. after 30 I give up. I will give a courtesy call fi Ia m later than 10 min. I am too laid back to worry about punctuality. As long as she shows up and does nto stand me up. Its a personalad. Tehy are advertising! (.)(.) But if you show your goods expect to get attention from everywhere both positive and negative. So if prince charming is not looking but Prince rauchy-sauce is you cna;t yell at him for staring, commenting, or flirting with you. It is an open advertisement. If woemen did not want men looking at their breasts they would not dress in outfits revealing their cleavage. But they should nto get offended when someone they are not interested in take s a peek beucase like I siad. its an advertisment. And if people notice the advertiser should be happy she is getting any attention at all. I think a little celavage is good. Too much gets me overstimulated and makes me wantt o do one think... play withthe twins! (.) (.) It all depends on how much attention you want. If you want some attentionwrite something good. I keep telling peopel if you find someone don;t close your account. 1. There are forums and 2. You don;t know if a relationship is going to last 2 weeks or 6 months then you gotta make the profile all over again. A sucess story si only a success story after you have been together for 3 years and get married. And sure you may not find exactly what you are looking for but give people a chance you never know. mr. perfect and prince charming are not going to come and sweep you up on his white horse. Its more like Mr.goldberg with his Toyota is going to come along and buy you dinner, tell dirty jokes. he is going to want a realtionship but also want sex. All guys want sex. And msot normal women too. Sometimes when you do the online dating thing you run into a lot of misfits and idealists. Sometimes that guy witht he raunchy humor is a guy who will make you laugh and give you the ebst love making you ever had. In addition to talkiong you out to dinner and treating you with respect. The big tall guy you thought was prince charming is going to cheat on you or beat the crap out of you. More like tall dark and shady.... So if you catcha fish don;t delete your profile at least not for a year. And if you don;t catch that fish keep on fishing.

Well I tried once. But she got angry after our first phone call. She was extremely pissed off about my dad picking up the phone. And saw it as a sign of immaturity that I still live with my parents t the age of 27. She is 36 and has a career. I'm 27 and still in college. I live in the good part of rockland county, ny where the average household income is $78K a year. and she lives in a not so good part. She moved out when she was 18 years old. Ok I could do that and be poor and live in a dangerous area in a 1 room crappy aprtment where people get stabbed for stepping on someone's shoes. but who wants that. Its better to save up get a job and get a nice condo or a house. I guess we came from differnt worls. I the white collar and she the blue collar. Police are a fraternity and mostly only want to date other cops. I would date a cop as long as she were not a jerk.

Its funny how they do sell guns at some walmart stores like the oens in Pennsylvania. I bought my painball marker there witha alser scope that is really ment for a .22 rifle. And they olso sold real guns there too. Pennsylvania is like the texas of the North east. Crazzy place. In NY/NJ and msot other places tehy don;t sell guns at walmart. they underpay their workers, they put other places out of business. But poor people love to shop there. Tehy also beat up their suppliers to get lower prices ebcuase they buy in such bulk. They are good in some ways as for offering lower prices but some of their business practices and they way they treat their workers is apalling. The closest one to me is a 20 minute drive in a direction I don't go in Especuially when I got better places to go to. Wallmart has a crappy electronics section. I don't buy cheap clothes and can;t fuind anything there for me. Walmart is for poor people.

I had a cat and the litterbox was int he basement we cleaned it out once a week and there was no smell. People are cheap and reuse litter pee has amomnnia in it. its not about jsut getting the clumps out even though it costs more money its goot to replace the litter every week. All of it and not just remove the clumps otherwise it stinks upt eh joint. You can take allergy medecine or get shots for the allergic reaction... Shaving the Pu---y is out of the question. MEOW! If you truly hate cats then date someone without cats. So there are your options brother. Allergy shots and tell ehr that she has to replace the litter and move the box down to the basement out of sight.

And why even bother telling us aboutt he story when you were in camp. not to meantion noone not even blacks used the word dog 30-35 years ago. Tehy used the word "Man." Wow so let me get this straight.... Teh man takes you out and pays for everything. You hit it off and get along well. then he takes you to a hotel and its not a cheapo place but somewhere it csots $250+ for a rooma nd you wont; even ahve sex witht he guy? I have a few questions. 1. Why a hotel and not his or your place or even in the car? 2. Its weird that you did not talk about this and he springs this on you. but then agian sex is best when you don;t expect it and its spontaneous. 3. Why don't you have sex with this guy if he's so great and you like him? What's the big deal? 4. Hookers are dirty and you would nto typically take a hooker out to dinner unless it were a high priced-call girl/prostitute. And even then you cn get a disease from a hooker. 5. I think you have a negative oppion of sex or that its dirty in some way. i have ahd sex on first dates. usually in my car or my or her place. And once even got a cheap motel room for $40 when it was a long disntance relationship. Sex is best when you start making out and then your hands or lips get lower. Spontanaity (Spontaneous-ness) Cant; spell it... it sexy! And to be blunt if someone bought me or cooked me a ncie meal and I liked her I would definately ahve sex with her in a heart beat. But that's me I'm pretty easy. have a good conversation and Feed me and have sex with me and I am happy. Really what else is there in this world as far as realtionships go. There is trust, feeling comfortable with someone, loving them, enjoying the tiem you spend together, conversations, then eating and having sex. You don;t ahve to like all of the same things or both like bungie jumping ort he same music or bands. And you don;t have to date for 3-6 months before you touch his dancing plantain. I read an article Either in GQ or men's health I forget which that most women on average ahve sex on the 8th date. In my personal experience its usually on the 3rd date. but cna happen sooner or later. I think you should be more open minded but if you don't feel comfortable you should not do anything. The real question si did you get offended/ angry when the guy told you he had a hotel room? Did you end your date or did you jsut say no to the hotel rooma nd continue the date. Thsi guy may have a little bit of wishful thinking or may be tring too hard. there is a not of pressure on us guys too. and considering it was a nice hotel room and not a seedy one I don't see what the big deal is.

Summary: As I see it the article is about cheating or dating multple people while you are already with someone and dating others. in order to see if you will be happier or find a more attractive mate or someone you may like better. And that online dating makes it easier to do this? And that this is a problem. 2. My opinion: Some people like to date one person at a time and see if it works. Others like to date around and see 2-3 people and see what works out and what doesn't. Neither is wrong in my opinion. I think its wrong to cheat if you are in a commited relationship. But if you jsut started seeing someone and are unsure of them and are jsut randomly meeting people online or just started dating its ok to date around. but once you both decide that you are in a realtionship, both parties must drop the other relationships in order for it to succeed. not everything wortks out. some things do.
