meningitis is a serious illness wot ne1 can catch we all carry the bug 4 it yer prefoundly means almost fully and hes going 2 have a cochlear implant im going to try to teach him how 2 tlk his speach will just be delayed i cud learn sign language but i dont want him 2 be limited who he can talk to it will be hard but im sure ill have plenty ov support

i went on holiday last year travel to n.ireland to see a friend its a fair distance and was quiet a nitemare had to push a pushchair and carry a large case with both mine and my sons things init total nakered my back sum ignorent ppl out there 2 just to make matters worse

my son is disabled not from birth but from 7weeks old he had meningitis and almost died hes now prefoundly deaf and is due an operation some time in april (cochlear implant) i think it fairly hard looking after him but im gettin more and more use to it getting to no how to catch his attention hes started to understand facial expresions more and is finaly understandin NO lol as well as spending a little extra time teachin him theres all them bloomin hospital appointment im just wonderin if there are many people on here with disabled children ive met a few other parents with deaf children but i think u can never no to much bout these things id be very greatful 4 ne1 with any tips or info on this to post a reply cheers

cuz i coulndt REPLACE the child i had to give up?!?? how can u replace a child with a new 1 thats soooo stupid thats makes me mad

things are looking loads betta now my sons dad is getting move involved and so his is dads side of the family i have my weekends to myself to do my own thing pub gym relax bla bla bla thanks for all your replys and cheers to u all hope all goes well 4 every1 else to kids are hard work but sure worth it hes wiv his dad now and im missin him like crazy im sure hell keep me busy wen he gets bk lol

o and me son int used to hang on 2 a bad relationship i try get on wiv my ex as a friend as my m8s mum and dad dint get on and she went through hell h8ed her life im tryin 2 make id different 4 my son

i woz 15 wen i fell preggy i woz in a steady relationship at the time but we split wen out son woz bout 6months im now 17 and a single mum ppl are like ow bless ya how do u cope i feel like sayin my age dunt f*kin mater i cope as well as ne other parent my son nearly died at 7 weeks old and i managed to pull my self through that and keep it all 2 getter and strong now my son is desabled (prefoundly deaf) and has 2 on go a major operation i think as at as im lucky 2 still have my son here and life goes on my life has a long way to go and so does my sons so i get on as well as i can even though i had my son at such a young age hes the best thing that ever happened to 2 by far

hi to all im new on here but it seems good enough just tryin to find out how ppl view there ex partners my ex grrrr were 2 start ive tryed my very hardest 2 get on wiv him 4 our sons sake he f*ked me best m8 says i fell pregnant on perpose 4 money grrrr i woz 15 wen i fell preggy he woz 17 and he says i tryed to trap him lmao i finished him coz he treat me like total sht he does all this 2 me and i still try 2 get on wiv him 4 my sons sake some times i wonder wots in his head men grrrrrr
