Long hair on older women

I have long hair down to the middle of my back. I love it.
ALL hair takes time to wash, condition, set/blow-dry, color......what's the big deal?
In hot weather I wear a pony-tail, or for dressy a chignon.....
I tried short hair a few years ago and I looked like shit.

WOW! You told him off so well!!! A man on this site I really fell for (but dumped), is also an egotistical freak compensating for some t i n y little thing! I have a very high IQ; but I would hate to flaunt it to gratify my ego. People who give orders, think they are better than the rest of us, and generally make others feel insecure - are losers themselves - and very lonely ones at that!

You get some counseling by a qualified Psychologist. It is obvious that you are a kind, gentle, forgiving and sincere person who enjoys pain. You are a masochist. She is a sociopath who happens to be an addictive personality.
You, by giving her money, may fuel her addictions.
She, by s o m e t i m e s giving you "love" fuels your addiction to pain. You hope things will improve; they won't. As time goes on things will get worse.
Go out. Meet people. Become involved in the community. Date for fun - don't appear too needy (it turns real women off).
People like her cannot hurt you unless you LET THEM. You already know you must forget about her......perhaps you just like to complain?

Wow. I really feel for you. What a jerk he is! Unfortunately, it seems to take men so much longer to get over the "ex" than it does us; AND WE would not jeopardize a lovely new relationship on a flawed, questionable past relationship!
I HATE THAT!!! You sound terrific and you look lovely....he sounds like a JERK.
If he is a jerk now; he will continue to be a jerk. I never recco ultimatiums. I say
just dump him, and be glad you found out early enough that he is an idiot who has
NO REGARD FOR YOUR FEELINGS. NO RESPECT FOR THE RELATIONSHIP YOU AND HE HAD.
It is HIS loss. Big time. Sounds like they deserve each other!
PS I just went thru something like that...the guy doesn't know what he's missing, Doug.
