hey doc i know exactly where youre comming from. i divorced after 7 years and im new to this thing too. i remember back in the day, when all i needed to get a girl was my 76 firebird and some pocket change to take her out with. after my split with the ex i decided to get back in the swing of things again and find me a nice lady. and im telling you this and i cant stress it enough. its hard as flippen hell to land a woman now a days when youre old school and lived a sheltered life. what a difference 7 years makes! from what i observed where i live most of the woman here get off on dating either a bad ass or some foreigner. i remember when my dad told me about when he was my age, and how there was 2 girls for every guy. its pathetic when you look at it, i mean if you want to date somebody nowadays you gotta be into culture, or rich, or look like a model, theyve set the bar kinda high now. about the only thing you can do is roll with the changes. as for me, id rather date a librarian.

couldnt be as bad as this chick i dated. she was talking about this ex she dated long ago who was 51, she was 19 at the time she met him. that just made me curl. what a waste of a good lookin babe!

i think if a man is too chicken to go to the counter with condoms, get them from the bathroom vending machine. they might be 25 cents higher than boxed in the long run, but at least you spare youreself some embarrasment.

i find that having a p.c. and a membership to pof is a big tension releaser. afterall we are all on here together for one thing in mind, to find that special somebody. its nice to have this for our use and best of all its free. i wish we had pof when i was 18, i wouldnt have had to go thru the bar scene just to tell myself years later that i shouldnt have dated that woman. lets give the web sites creator a big thank you. btw theres nothing wrong with being square. if youre comfortable with youreself, be who you are. dont let some nobody tell you who you should be.

i think having a dog in the bedroom sounds alittle kooky! as far as protection goes, id rather use my glock. if the criminals break my door down, i have a clip full of friends that can run faster than them. im not a dogaphobe, i just think theres boundarys that should be set when naughty time is in effect. i know id have trouble sporting wood if i saw some furry mug looking at me. besides, these little moments alone that we take for granted allows us time as couples to focus on ourselves. i think if you introduce something distracting in a moment of privacy youre just ruining it for the both of you. love is a beautiful thing, put the dog out and enjoy youre evening.

i whole heartedly agree. and i think if a younger guy asks out a older woman she should take it as a compliment. im sure for some it aint like this thing happens everyday. look on the bright side NO VIAGRA INCLUDED! think of it as the next best thing to christmas, have fun and reminesse later.
