Hi i messaged a guy a week ago and added him to my favourites. Today I log on and the message has disappeared from my sent box, my favourites, and there is no record of him on the username search. My question is - did he block me, delete his account (nothing says this) or did the system delete him? Thanku

I see your point but I dont see any other reason to even have private images if they cant be emailed to others even for the legitimate users.

So P.O.F is telling me I cant message people if they have there settings set to not allow messages from people who have messaged people looking for intimate encounters more than 4 times !!

However now 15 years down the line im a big boy and I can assure P.O.F these certainly arnt my intentions yet im still being punished !!

Is there a way for a simple style & netiquette pop-up to happen prior to people filling out their profile and sending out their first email? Perhaps there are users of POF that don't get how it looks to the opposite sex when their profile is written all in caps, or there are twelve spelling/grammar errors in four sentences. And maybe if people knew how it made them look, they'd be less apt to send out an email that just says "Hi", and nothing else. I don't even like the "I liked your profile, let's chat!" emails. If you really liked something, specify, otherwise it looks like a cheesy pick-up line by some lazy, drunk dude at the local pub, and we can safely assume that you're using it on every.single.poster.on.this.site. One-size-fits-all isn't the greatest approach to a winning first contact.

1) Your profile picture MUST contain a clear shot of your face. However you're allowed to have a profile with no photos whatsoever. Hypocrisy me thinks? YES!

2) Its ok to have pictures posted by men and women with bare torso's exposed at the beach for example... but not in the bathroom. Apparently it's more tolerable in public than it is in the private of your home. More hypocrisy.

3) It's not illegal for men and even women to be topless in public (depending on the jurisdiction), but it's against regulations here. The law does not apply to the internet, and neither do human rights.

Speaking of things that won't work... that whole "primate themed, lets revert to being apes" profile you got going on there just screams for a psychologist to start prescribing little "happy pills" to keep you grounded in reality. That profile will not work whatsoever on women, and neither will the monkey fascination you display. I suggest you re-evaluate your strategy. Heed my advice, or you'll be stuck on this site for decades to come...

Anyhoo, he keeps showing up on my POF account as 'most attracted' on that feature. Is the feature a lot of pants or is he really taking sneeky peeks at my profile. Just curious if the feature actually does work out who's looking at your profile. I've had many messages and account activity since the date so don't understand why he's not slid down the list at least?

Otherwise, you could have only shoes on and say you're not really nude because you're wearing shoes.

Lol...it's only meant to be fun. And certainly not required. Just a side option. Either way it could prove useful in getting a bit of insight into someone's personality...alongside their profile bio.
