I had such a hard time trusting after a horrible relationship. I was angry and knew that no one could get thru my wall that I had built. Believe me when I say, love snuck up on me....it bit and I was a little taken back when I realized what it was and what the heck was going on. I dont know how you are with faith, but I prayed alot to be free of hate and anger, and dispare. I prayed for peace in my heart. I prayed for understand of myself. A self discovery is what helped me be ready for what I believe was given to me by the heavens themselves. You have to know who you are, and be able to trust yourself. You have to be able to look in the mirror and like that person. After finding peace with yourself, and who you are, only then can you love that person you have become. Then you will find that trust, it comes slow, and any woman looking to have you, will have to understand you, and appreciate that trust is earned. Good Luck.

First off, breathe !!!!! I dont think you are addicted to sex. You are 19. What do you know, except that your libido is on the rise - literally. IT sounds like you are an attention seeker. Sex is a passing thing, and if you dont wear condoms every time you do go between someone, I would say you wont have to commit suicide, you will be dead really soon anyway. The one that is possibly having your baby, go to social services when the baby is born and ask how to go about getting a DNA test, because you suspect she may be lying, thats if she takes you in for child support. The others, what is love, do you really know ? The one that says the guy makes 25 mill a year, dont believe her, because if he did, she wouldnt have got him arrested, she would divorced him and got most of the money anyway, so its not because of money she is with him... As for yourself, you are going thru growing pains. But how do you work for Poppa Johns in the military ? hmmm ? My suggestion to you is seek out a councelor, if you dont have the money, find the free services, they are located in all yellow pages. Telephone directories. It sounds like you really need to just talk to someone, professionally. If you are who you say you are, and really are at your wits end, then you really do need professional help, no matter how many forums you post on, the only help you really need is professional. I believe the icing on the cake was what you said dforrest I like my style, if others dont. thats just too bad for them Why should you care then, I mean so what you dress down so to speak. Everyone doesnt like the suit and tie, because they feel totally out of sorts and do not feel like themselves. To me, its not the clothes that makes the man, its the scent that does it for me.... Im sorry, all men need a shower after work. Whether they wear Gucci Suits or Overalls, sweat is sweat, and a shower will do yah .... Just my 50cents....

Bald is sexy, if you KEEP UP APPEARRANCES. Please dont be one of those guys who shave, and then next week you have growth and feel lazy and dont want to shave that week. I know a guy who I told he looked sexy with a shaved head, and he did it, lol, because he was having ladies problems, and he got all kinds of compliments when the head was shaved, but he got lazy, and omgosh, the new growth was just ugly. It depends on the guy, I mean some guys just dont have the pretty shape head, so why shave, keep what yah have and go with it, make it work ! JUST DONT FLIP that little piece around....and yah know what I mean. If you dont have any unusual lumps I say shave it, and have it cleaned every week or few days or whatever it takes to keep a clean shave. Short men, tall men, obese, skinny, it really depends on the lumps.

Ha, try walking in the rain and come inside with a puff ball. I have to get my hair straightened to make it look presentable. I go to the salon, anywhere from once a week to every other week, depending on the weather. Rainy days, forget about it... I have wavy curly hair, and it poofs up in the rain, and its frizzy and yucky. I get a perm only once a year so that it stays down for a while lol.... Suggestion, find a salon you like, and get it flat ironed, its great when you can treat yourself, especially if you are a hard worker, and really do nothing for yourself. A good conditioning, and wash and flat iron, viola, a straight hair gurl and bounce I might add lol....

I have to agree with most of the ladies here, it does really depend on the women though, and also it depends on how much you really know your lady. If the dress would compliment her, maybe its what YOU thought was nice, but she may not have, simply because its nothing she would wear out. OR, maybe she had a bad experience, like someone said here they let someone pick their stuff out until the wedding dress, hence no wedding... Maybe she was that type too, let someone do those things and it turned bad. Ask before you do is my advice. I dont like my stuff being bought for me, because I am really picky, I dont hurt his feelings, but I am too honest sometimes, so I have to bring down my opinion with a polite - thats nice, but can we go see something else, maybe that I could try on for you and you tell me what you think. He finally gets that hint as nope thats not me, but I will try something on until we both agree.

I love that Marcellus helped George out and gave him the food pass, but that was Danielle's idea, she is much better this season, and humble too lol.... Janelle needs to go but I sure hope it doesnt back fire and James goes home, I think Danielle, James, Marcellus, George and Kayser would be a cool final 5. Ericka can go home too with Chill Town. Here is one of my old ones....sometimes there is no time for a breath or pause, because life takes us in spins sometimes.... ++Funny Thing++ the night was warm and the rain washed away my sorrows i watched the ocean water wave after wave and remembered all that we had shared putting my face to the sky feeling the rain pour over me feeling the cleansing remembering the pain i open my mouth to the droplets closing it again bitter sweet the taste just like our life together funny thing about break ups your heart aches your feelings are turned upside down your head spins and your life ends for the moment this rain it works miracles the downpour now soaks my clothing goes to my heart washes away the pain seeps into my soul rekindles the spirit funny thing about life it has its way of making you see things differently on every turn it shows you that love is something you can not control it is something that wakes inside of you and takes your soul funny thing about love it last for the time it is shared the ocean waves continue i walk away remembering smiling the rain pours downward i am cleansed and yet ready again to love ~z-spirited wolf

Just my 2cents.... When you write, write...dont think.... If you have to write it the way others want to read it, then where are you within the poem ? when you write, dont think....just do... let them flow.... dont look for words that go together.... a poem is meant for the poet...the audience is suppose to think.... i liked your poem.... i was there...on the beach... i could see sand going thru my fingers... i saw the ocean.... i saw the tears.... dont always worry about punctuation either.... come up with your own style... if you have a class ..poetry....of course they will teach you the correct way to do something.... but how do you become a good poet ? you learn from yourself....what feels good to you.... let your mind go and write....and enjoy the power of your own pen.... Hi Its been a while so I thought I would come by and throw in a read.... yes I too love the Badu.... running around downtown wondering where she is i look over my shoulder and there by a boulder is my pooch i sneak up very slowly she wiggles her tail i know as i get closure she'll run and i'll fail to grab her sad but true this pooch is like you you are out of my reach no matter how i try no matter what i do you get away lol thats all i had in my pocket bubbles sorry lol, but i am rusty lol so maybe next time it will be better....keep your writes going..... I was married and I thought he was the love of my life, but that marriage ended before it began, being the romantic that I am, I stayed, tried my dammmdestsstttttt to make that thing work. It was awful, but then hey, when you think HE IS THE 1, you do what you can to make things work, right ? Not at the cost of your self respect, your dignity, and dreams too. No person is worth that, trust me.... I am now in a fulfilling relationship with a man that I have known for over 30 years. And to be truthful, I waited 30 years for this guy. Was he the one that got away, more like the one that was ready for a relationship and I wasnt. When I was old enough to date, he was ready for marriage, babies etc.... He is only 4 years older than me, but when I was 18, he was 22 and he wanted to settle down. I finally walked away when I thought someone else was his g/f, and thought Id never look back, but that is what you call a lie. I did think about him, and would wonder if that was him in the window of a few stores, and if that was just him in a car that went by.... Looking back now, what would you have done differently? My mate and I had discussed this when we first started talking again and I know for a fact, I would have stayed. We would have grown together. He was and still is a hundred times different than the guy I first married. Our wedding is set for this Fall, and we have come full circle and neither of us will look back, we are looking forward to our journey together. Finally, happy ending. How do I know - because faith and love endures all..... = = = => About the general question posted, I think it can be looked at as who you are waiting for, like - is there someone special in your mind that you are waiting for, not a specific name or face, but an ideal someone that has formed in your mind for years.....? So I think anyone can answer this question - How long will you wait - to have that special someone in your life ? For those who are still searching, dont settle.

my wedding date is planned my dress i have not found oh my goodness what a journey i surely am bound first the church then the hall oh boy did i say it was in the fall jumping for joy running around like a fool oh my goodness what color are my shoes ? so much to do so little time did i mention i want a clown ok maybe things could be easier if i just started and got help from my sister ummm wait have i told my mate the church is large the hall is small pounding my head on my bed hiding my face under the covers so much stress no time to rest oh bother is that the caterer calling no no i dont want ravioli nor would i like your stromboli augh what a disaster this is he and his italian dishes time to go swimming around the pond at least here there are memories i am fond the water is warm the faces are too oh s h i t did i forget to order the shoes ? streeessssssssssssssssssss wow that sure felt good looking all around the bubbles from my blunder its no wonder the fishes are scattering around they want to hear no more of where i am bound...... Its a year later and The Wolf and The Bear are still together. Many moons ago, I wished upon a midnight star Wondering where you are Not feeling a heartbeat below my chest I declared my life hopeless Weary sleeping and heartfelt distress For many days, and many a night A black cloud was forever in sight Sludge and pain, Sharp Disdain Darkness Hopelessness That was how things was for me before Bear came back into my life, we were kids who needed to go find our own way in life, and my road turned to be dark and bleak. When I came here to the pond, I had made some changes and was on my way to seeing new beginnings, but swimming around the pond here helped clear my head, and mind. And then it happened, after many prayers, he and I found our paths merge as 1. Take care fishes, and for those who have not found their fish, no worries, there is one in the pond world out there just for YOU ! Z~Spirited Wolf

One of my fav.s that I wrote: The Raven when i was young i would watch for the raven as it soared above the tree its black and liquer color and dark mysterious eyes would see right thru me i had never feared the raven for even when it did caw i sat and watched and noticed everything it saw its piercing look reached deep inside and touched my young soul the mystery of the raven the dark and loney caw its body sleek and bold so true to its own the raven is family it is thought of as kin so when i see it soar the sky i know it still sees my soul within By: Zee Spirited Wolf

sometimes when you sit all alone listen the air is calm your heart beat is a whisper close your eyes what do you see the darkness surrounds you can you now hear it can you now feel it the peace the tranquility of now in the moment it can be scary at first embrace it though fear it not work thru the fear hold tight your breath let it out sigh relax enjoy shake it off that fear blow that air out releasing the tension the admission of fear is now gone thumping yes your heart relax breath slow enhale deep sigh smile freedom of the mind peace Peace be unto you and yours this holiday season and may everyone who reads my words know that we all walk this earth not alone. running for a train that doesnt pull out for another half hour is useless get out of bed on time dropping an egg and scooping it up with a paper towel is useless use a dust pan wet paper towel waiting in line for a cashier when the window says next window is useless pay attention finding nemo when you could be finding that shark behind you is useless get out of the water jumping up and down to see if that is your friend way up in the crowd is useless use your cell phone i just posted in the useless banter thread bite me suck dirt and die run over yourself eat tongue and choke sell yourself on the free trade your momma bring me my hose back no i just posted in the useless banter thread a water bottle woke up one morning and decided he would not work mr. fingers squeezed and squeezed trying to get water bottle to work then mr. fingers decided to ask mr. hand to help, and together they squeezed and squeezed nothing well water bottle was so happy that he had a day off he was contemplating what he would do for the day since he did not have to work so hard and be filled up and have that need to lay down feeling all day so as he was sighing with happiness THUMP there was darkness no sounds around him he became afraid oh no what is it what is happening thought mr. water bottle then it came to him the smell that awful smell mr. onions house mr. fat from the chicken house mr. scrap from the plate house oh no it has happened he has been thrown in the house of empty bottles he tried to get up but he was full what has happened why why why why why have they done this to me he thought ^ the moral of this story - drink water from a cup and you wont have a bottle bi-t-Chen at yah from the garbage can i just posted in the useless banter thread

How important it is for us to know our culture and to share our experiences with one another. How powerful it is to be authentic. How important it is to hold no secrets. I am as sick as my secrets. Grandfather, allow me today to be willing to share with my brother and sister. Let my eyes see You in their eyes. Let me not judge them but only love them. Grandfather, help me, for I am Your humble servant ======= Remember we all are important. All the things we go thru life, many are lessons taught. We have the pleasure of giving back to our world. Every time you tell your story, the bad and the good, you are sharing your lessons learned. Dont keep secrets. The abused husband, or wife know what I am talking about - dont keep that in - tell someone - tell your story and be free - let another learn from your lessons. The boss who is over bearing to his employee's. Tell your story. Let others know why you push them so hard, tell them of your struggles. The mother who checks her daughters room for signs of whatever. Tell her your story. Let her know of why you are needing to know about her - when she is quiet with you - and should be telling her story. The man who sits alone with the bottle in his hand at night after work. Sighing because he needed a stiff one to relax, its been a long day. Find a friend and tell them your story. Tell a stranger at a group meeting why its so easy for you to drink - instead of prepare a meal. All lessons we learn in our life should be shared.

"When you get older and you are ready, your ancestors will show up to guide you." --Joe Coyhis, STOCKBRIDGE-MUNSEE Many of us, when we are young, spend a portion of our lives in learning. Unfortunately, some of us spend this time learning the hard way. When we are young we sometimes think we know everything. Sometimes we do foolish things. As we get a little older, we realize we don't know anything. This is when we become teachable. There is a saying that goes, when the student is ready, the teacher appears. We usually aren't teachable unless we are ready. The ancestors are waiting and willing to help. When we are ready, many beautiful teachers start to come into our lives. Then we really start to grow and mature. We are ready for the spiritual lesson. Creator, help me to become ready and teachable. ============= I totally agree with this because even as adults we have so much to learn, and many of us have yet to learn many things that are whispered in our ears. We shake our heads when we hear a whisper that tells us that what we are doing is wrong, and it takes us years to figure out what we have done has consequences. I am happy that I listen to the whispers of my ancestors. I am happy that my faith is so strong that I believe in the words of my heart that are spoken in the beats that rumble inward.

That's the way we were taught. Think about it: you yourself are a Seventh Generation." --Leon Shenandoah, ONONDAGA The Creator designed us with a free will. That means we function from choices and consequences. It is important that we practice thinking about consequences before we make decisions about choices. Every choice I make is like setting up dominos one after the other that produce consequences. Not just for me but also for my children and for the children that are unborn. My choices and decision today will have consequences for seven generations. For example, if I work on my own spiritual development and I walk the Red Road, the odds are that my children will. They will marry and their children will follow the Red Road and so will my grandchildren even up to the seventh generation. This will happen because of the choices and decisions that I make today. Great Spirit, grant that the choices and decisions that I make today will honor Your laws and values. May I live in peace today that will ripple into the seventh generation.
