Got a question..... If I send a first contact message to someone...and I get no response, then I notice that in my sent folder, there is nothing in there saying I sent this person anything...does that mean I have been blocked by them?? Anyone else experiencing this?? Thanks!! E-Mail: Contact Restrictions

I did not read every single post in here, so I am not sure all that has been discussed...but going back to the some of the OP's earlier posts, you are so misinformed! Drinking once in a while during your pregnancy is perfectly acceptable and even healthy, obviously...because as some of these women have said, they have gotten doctors orders to drink a bit. I do agree that it needs to be something thats not hard liquor...a beer, a glass of wine, a wine cooler....all fine...lol And the statement about being ok to drink while breastfeeding?!?! No,no, no...lol....if you do however go out and have drinks, and you are breastfeeding. You have to pump enough to last your child 24 hrs....because you cant breastfeed for 24 hours after drinking. I believe it only has to be one drink, I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure.

Lots of them seem to...there are a lot of people in these forums that post about....why does me being on so many lists turn people off...or vice versa...(is that correct? Vice versa?)...lol So thats why I posted this...was curious to see some opinions firsthand. I am liking the perspectives

It was something I posted just today...and I got a message saying that the community had deleted it. Maybe because I didn't put it in a specific thread...and made it it's own thread? I dont know....lol...thanks for the feed back Jules! I have not really seen anything like this in this particular thread...but I also did not read all 7 pages straight through...haha I wrote this from a real "something" I was going through..so here goes nothing Craving, aching, need to breath flesh touch flesh, heat ignites eyes are blazing, feeling is right. Mentally, physically yearn for you virtually nothing I wouldn't do. Like water to the barren soil you feed my being, you feed my soul. This feeling set in the pit of my stomach, when I am with you it feels like home. You're everything I have ever wanted, I am so lucky to have you...as my own. Something tells me that this is it...I am not sure what or why. But to question the perfection of attraction, is like trying to change the color of the sky. There's no rhyme or reason, there's no crystal ball, where will we land after the fall? In you I have found a happiness once lost, I was willing to find it no matter the cost. You came to me like snow in July, so unexpected, and beautifully rare. I cant ever lose you, and what we've come to share, I hope you know, I will always be there. My eyes are much brighter, and my step so much lighter, to find the one person who feeds every fire is wonderful and amazing and almost unreal. You have to know now, just how I feel.

Yes, I can absolutely admit when I am wrong...but to get technical...I did only state my view of who does more first contacts, soley based on my personal opinion and experience , and I said as much. I will have to pay attention the next time I send an email... thanks for the proof....men love to be right dont they?!!...lol Its a joke...calm down people

Feffin: guys are the majority who take that first contact step, at least initially. This may be true...how exactly can you be sure?? Neither of us can prove our sides with 100% certainty...but I seem to be the only one giving in to the possibility that I could be wrong. And Agent....right on!

I have been on here long enough to have seen both sides of the spectrum...guys who do and guys who dont take the initial step. Comparing POF fav's list to the number of sexual partners someone has had?! A bit extreme...lol

I wouldn't say I am concerned for "frivolous" situations...and if that was not directed specifically at me, then I apologize. Howver, if it was for me, I would suggest not to wonder about things you also wouldn't just assume. I was asking out of a pure curiosity of peeking into some men's thoughts...nothing more, nothing less. Maybe it is just 2:45 AM talking....insomnia is a kick in the ass sometimes...lol. And yes...they can delete themselves off the others' lists....I do think though that there are people on here that just like to rack up the numbers. As always, it's nice to see some different points of view

You make a good point...but you still have to remember that just because so many people put you on their list...doesnt mean they are on yours or are talking to everyone. I do understand about it making you wonder. I just would like to see more men take the initiative when contacting....I mean obviously, someone isnt going to entice everyone....but it seems that men are almost more hesitant to make that first contact than the women...maybe you guys like that?!

I have seen a lot of threads on here about people adding to and being on so many favorites lists....some complaine and wonder why people arent on many or any at all....and others complain about women and men are ON so many peoples lists. Well, my question is...how much does it really matter to people?! Are guys turned off by someone who is on nobody's favorites list? Does it even really matter at all? This may seem like a frivolous post....but I was just wondering. Curious to hear peoples thoughts.......

What a wonderful, powerful story! My eyes did not stay dry. I absolutely believe that outside attitude and influence can either hinder or enhance our sense of self...it is wonderful to believe in yourself and work hard. It only helps when everyone else supports you and believes in you as well, disability or not! really great story!!
