Hello Everyone, Yes Dog, I'm back, lol Sorry I haven’t been writing much. Guess you’d have to say words don’t flow well when there is such a large part of me still missing. It will be one year tomorrow since my sister Terry passed away and I just am still not dealing with it very well. My mother on the other hand is in re-mission for the second time, Thank God!!! My sister Rita is still struggling with her breast cancer, she underwent a hip replacement last month due to the strong Chemo they used, killed her hip bone. Still breathless Still wake up Teary eyed Still breathless The wound is wide Something happens I pick up the phone But I can’t call her She’s no more at home Tossed the sand From the waters shore A year ago Goodbyes and more Her Birthday last Friday No card to send No hugs or kisses For my best friend Thought it would ease This pain I feel But now I know It’s to damn real Walking the path On tomorrow’s dream She’ll help me heal In a timeless regime Heaven must have needed The best of the best To take her on Her Spirit Quest……. I miss ya sis…. Love Mari

Afternoon Dog, So how much is it to ship that boat up here to me? Damn I could use it, lol I’ve been sick with allergies so bad this week, but D. made me some chicken noodle soup from scratch and it’s patching me up!! Pulled out the tackle boxes And sorted through hooks I’m going to have to shop By it’s empty looks The kids lose more Than the lakes have fish But what they catch Makes a tasty dish Bobbers are our biggest thing The crack them so fast Ya think they’d learn by now How to fricken cast But it’s all in fun And that’s all that matters By the time we get our lines wet Theirs is in tatters……. Nice write Thorb, Hope all is well!!! I’m A bit bitter still with my old brother-in-law. Just can’t believe he could do that. But I can’t dwell on it! Loving The Sun Warm front is here Each day to increase 60’s today and tomorrow Then 80’s for Thursday’s peace Might have to visit The forest that day To find myself again To find my way Leaves are unfolding The dew is now back My senses are forming My spirit intact The birds have returned And nesting quite close A spirit quest is in need My “Medical Nature” dose Nothing clears my thoughts Like the sun dancing above me And life is again growing As far as I can see……. Heaven and Hell The woods were dark and wet The leaves stuck to my shoes The cracking branches came from behind Heaven and hell, in the end, intertwined Spirits rose from the swampy mud Feasting on flesh, down to the bone Razors tearing into my spine The cause of the teeth was still fully unknown I couldn’t turn around to look at it Fear held me completely spellbound Yet by the stench of its breath It must be part hound Yet how could that be Keeping pace on two feet My heart in my throat At hummingbird beat My mouth opened with screams But no voice could be heard I prayed to the Gods Without using a word Knocked down to the ground It started to maul Then thrown through the air Like a half stuffed rag doll I tasted the bark Off an old dead tree But the beast was still viscous And still after me So I ran and I ran But the woods wouldn’t end They got darker and wider They just seem to extend No air in my lungs No thought in my head My body on auto pilot I knew I’d be dead The skies opened up The thunder began Lightning touched down Every direction I ran Then like a storm The wind became wild The Gods were answering Annoyed and riled The beast was struck Like a spear through the heart His body was wrenching And then tore apart As we both lied there And stared eye to eye We took our last breaths And released our last sighs For we were one in the same Nobody wins A fight with my self And the Gemini twins…….. Just Had to stop in and tip me hat to the Goat and his lady!! Good to peek in the old walls Things right now are tough But I find peace reading here It release the stressful stuff Dipped me clothes In The Holy water once more Hope ya don't mind It's one less chore You hang up an air freshener? I smell something new Or did the Goat just eat one To liven up his poo? Ok That was bad I know But It's my Humor tonight I've done tipped back more than me hat And I'm feeling alright Missing ya'll More than ya know Hope to be back on more often But for now I must go!!
