If you're saying that you don't know what to write because the profiles are all the same, then look for a different profile. Look for a profile that gives you some insight into her and what she likes, then comment on that in your message.
Cut and paste is retarded, it shows you don't give a shit about the girl. So why bother even sending a message?
I respond to every message that's more then "hey you're hot" Or other things along those lines. If you put some effort into your messages you'll get more responses, it's as simple as that.
Online dating isn't for you?
Then why are you here?

Not On Many Favorites List, Is My Profile Horrible???
Posted:

Again, paragraphs are key. =]
More interests would indeed help, just saying you enjoy books and movies isn't enough, we like to know more.
The only way I ever message someone is if their profile is well written, even if the picture is horrid, if the profile interests me, I'll message. Explain yourself more, you can't over explain to easily.

Just because their profile gives you the idea they may be a match, doesn't mean it's the case.
Instead of trying to pick possible matches, look for common interests in the profile, send a message about one of those, asking/commenting about it, you're more likely to get a response back because you're opening with something she likes.

Profile is way to short...
I can't say this enough, paragraphs that describe yourself, what you like, what you want, are wonderful.
Pictures are outdated, take some new ones.
Nix the glasses, or get some new ones..They're pretty horrid. (sorry)

I think I have a nice profile. I need a woman's evaluation.

The picture has GOT to go.
Get some new ones.
I don't like profiles that just list things...take the lists and write some actual paragraphs, it makes it seem like you're better at conversation. Which is a key factor in grabbing attention.

Eating on a first date
Posted:

I order first, because I eat what I like, if he doesn't agree with that, or judges on that, then I don't want to see him again. =] Simple as that.

When a girls says: I'm taken
Posted:

Taken, means we're either taken, or want you to eff off.
It's annoying when you continue to push..myself I get close to snapping if I have to say no more then once, it's irritating.

$300 oakleys?
Sorry dear, you do need new glasses, just because they're oakleys doesn't mean they're great. Rectangles are in, dark plastic or metal frames would do wonders for you..
People are trying to help, and you're just shooting down the advice.

Are you REALLY that tall?
Posted:

I have this weird thing for tall guys.
Myself I'm only 5'2 at the most, and I've never dated a guy under 5'10.
It's just a preference of mine I suppose.

would like some feed back on my profile please
Posted:

I'm not a guy but I can give some advice.
Try to write some more about yourself, describe yourself more. I say this a lot but longer paragraphs are better, when you can give someone a better idea of who you are, the picture will matter less.. I do have to agree with the person above me as well, dump the picture, get some better ones taken. =]

How is the Text of My Profile?
Posted:
8/7/2007 2:32:30 AM
Hm..
I'm not even quite sure what I think.
Maybe you need to focus on describing more about yourself and what you do/like/want instead of just listing what you're looking for. Lists tend to scare off girls. Because it's a cut and dry method of showing what you want, maybe explain in depth more what you'd like to find in a girl from this site. =]
It's a good start, personally the longer the profile the more it appeals to me, I like to see that a guy can explain himself well.

why do women stop pampering themselves?
Posted:
8/6/2007 5:31:59 AM
With me generally I want to impress him, once I have him, why the hell do I have to spend hrs a day continuing to impress haha.
I'm completely fine with looking "okay" daily. It takes to much time to do hair, nails, makeup, pick out outfits, so forth. I get sick of it.
I did it for months with my ex, then slacked off, he didn't care..I still did it once and awhile. Now I'm single and have my days where I do, days where I don't..depends how I feel really.
And it does get expensive.. nails alone monthly are $200.00
Then throw in my daily shopping for clothes.
To pricey, esp affording a two bedroom place myself.

Do you ladies have an issue with virgin men?
Posted:
8/6/2007 5:23:06 AM
I don't see a big deal in the guy being a virgin, it would be nice to know the guy you're sleeping with isn't a manwhore. =] Haha.
But really, I think it's cute. I'd date one, it's not a big deal at all.

When does a guy become an old man?
Posted:
7/6/2007 12:12:11 PM
Honestly it all depends on the guy, different things factor into judging if someone is an "old man" appearance is a key factor, if you look younger then you are, then that helps, but if you look 40, you're losing points with me. I'm young, I'm only 19. But I'd be fine dating someone older, as long as they had the same mind set as I do in life. Believe it or not, but money is a nice factor as well, I figure if you're 40, you better be well established and be able to take care of me. Not saying I want a sugar daddy, but I like to be spoiled, if you're not a struggling student, there's no reason for you not to have money. Maturity is also another factor, I don't want a 40 year old man that thinks he's still 20. But I don't want him thinking he's 40 either, haha. This gets to complicated to explain, basically it varies with each guy. It depends on a lot of things. =]

what do you think of girls with tattoos

Everyone is allowed to have their opinion, it's when the opinion starts turning into judging and insulting that I get angry. -_-

what do you think of girls with tattoos
Posted:

It really disappoints me to see how many people are so narrow-minded in this day and age, I did think the world was coming to accept people that decide to alter themselves, I don't understand why people get so judgemental of others that may decided to decorate themselves... I'm actually decently angry after reading all of these posts.
Maybe getting large tattoos will limit job opportunities but if you want to get legal, they can't decide not to hire you because of a tattoo, or piercing. So simply wear a long sleeve shirt to the interview. =]
Myself I have quite a bit of work done. I'm pushing 30 hrs of tattoos. I'm 19, but the family I grew up in was also tattooed, my father has quite a few, none of which he regrets, and he's pushing 65 years of age. I have to disagree with anyone saying 50% of people regret them at a later date. That's not a great number, I'm assuming 50% of 16-18 yr olds that don't take more then a day to think about what they are slapping on their bodies end up regretting their tattoo. That's a given though. Anyone with common sense knows they can't wash this off, they're going to ponder what is being put on their body, and enjoy it. I got my first tattoo when I was 15, 4 years later I'm still completely pleased with it. Yeah, I get a lot of stares, but I get a lot more compliments on mine, because they are tasteful. I'm not throwing stupid shit on my body.
Bah. I'm done venting.

boobs

Okay, no boob job.
I'm 19, I was always thinking the same thing as you, over the last 4 months, my boobs have gone up a completely cup size, they keep growing until around age 23, so at least wait and see what you're going to end up with, most guys don't like huge boobs, any guys I know think more then a C cup is a waste. =P
So don't go doing anything insanely drastic yet, wait and see.
