I was merely quoting what is in the thread that you posted a link to for me to look at which I did!

Yes the above does sink in and I have deleted the last pic, no need to be rude.

So let me get this right though, you can only report a profile if the MAIN image doesn't show a clear head shot, you can't report individual pictures on someone's profile. I'm sure you've seen yourself the amount of people that have pictures of their cars, bikes, pets, torsos etc that have no face in them at all.. I really do not see what the problem is so long as they have other pics of themselves that are not offensive, stolen and or nothing to do with their hobbies, passions and or who they are.

Funny how pics of people practically naked in skimpy underwear is fine so long as you can see their faces.. not to mention the apalling English

Anyway, I like this site but I wanted to question this and you have answered me, many thanks.

I found it! It's on one of the links above from a plenty of fish moderator on a thread asking similar to me.. the answer was..

'The pic should have some direct relationship to you, and you must be the sole unique owner of it, as intellectual property (and this must be obvious).'

To me, that tells me that the pics of my on my motorbike and in fancy dress are absolutely fine to be on my profile.

Do you concur?

I thought I'd read somewhere that so long as your other pics were directly related to you and your life then that was fine so long as you had full face pictures aswell in your profile which I do, infact 3 of them!!

I'm not petty enough to report every pic I see that doesn't have the owners face clearly in them, unless offensive. How many cleavage or pec pics are on this site without a face.. hundreds I'd wager. Also there are alot of bikers on here with pics like mine of just their bikes or them riding their bikes. Funny, I don't ride my bike without a crash hlemet. There are also lots of people with pics of their pets up too without themselves being in the pic.. I'm hardly going to report them either.. that's just daft.

Anyway, thank you for your replies.

After being on this site for some time all of a sudden this week some of my photos keep being removed. They meet the criteria, I have full face pics and pics of my passion.. motorbikes, with me on them but twice this week they have been deleted. I've trawled through the info mods, so please can you give me a proper answer rather than a link to another thread about the rules and regs.. I've read them!!

Is it that other POF users are reporting them for some reason??

I see that many profiles have pics don't have them in at all... all mine do have me in them!!!

I'm really annoyed, biking is my passion and I'm proud of the pics of me out doing what I love best.

I've uploaded them again so maybe someone could take a look and tell me what the problem is.. many thanks!

Women Bikers?????

That's fantastic Amberlin about the glass of water comp. I agree alot of it for the girls is based on confidence, skill and technique rather than size and strength.

I'm 5'6 and have struggled with the height of some bikes and the weight but a bit of practise, careful planning of parking lol and you over come it all after a few teething troubles sometimes. Of course now I have the 400 I have no probs lol, the R1 took some parking consideration at times etc that's for sure.

LOL cheers Me B!

Well miss, never had a 750 but don't be fooled by the fact I have an NC30 lol, pennies dictated that purchase thanks to buying a house. It will eventually become my track bike. My last bike was a 1998 red and white R1 and a K2 GSXR600.

The NC30 is so much fun it's stupid lol as I'm sure you know.

Nice to see another lady biker on here that isn't something ... dare I say it, a 125 or a cruiser lol

Hmmm intersting thread. I don't really look at female profiles lol but I've seen alot worse on men and womens profiles than being draped over a bike.

Bike pics are on my page as they are a huge part of who I am and surely your pics and profile are part of showing who you are. But I'm not one for flaunting myself so no draping pics on my page lol.

Ther are alot of boobs and bums, torso etc pics on here, just because a bike is added doesn't make it anymore tacky

Looks like you guys and gals have got a nice evening for it. C_arts pointed me in this direction (thank you ;-) ) but sadly I can't make it tonight but if you go on a week I'm not working in the evening... well then I shall bring my bike accross the water as I'm on the Isle of Wight

Have a good one!
