Instant Messenger Help.
Posted: 5/27/2005 4:53:19 PM
Earlier today, I went to my Juno E-Mail and it said that I had a new E-Mail message on Plenty of Fish. And, I did.
Tonight, I did exactly the same thing as before and Plenty of Fish E-Mail messages that usually work just fine, refuse to give me any of my E-Mails.
So, what's going on and what can I do to get my current E-Mail.

Sex on the First Date

Dear RetroMarilynGeek,
Instead of calling it sex, let's call it what it really is. It is an act of human reproduction. To call it sex, that cheapens the act of human reproduction and it cheapens what is often referred to as making love.
Or to put it another way, sex without love is just plumbing.
RetroMarilynGeek, does it really make sense for you to let a man you hardly know enter your body? And, are the two of you really ready to raise a child should something unforeseen happen? I don't think so.
If not, then the two of you need not be engaging in an act that is normally reserved for a man and woman who wish to raise children or express their love for each other in a very special and sacred way.
Sex on the first date? It used to be kiss on the first date? Man, have we stooped to a new low.
Frankly, it is not only "too much, too soon," it is deadly to an--otherwise--budding relationship between a man and woman who--in time--may be meant for each other.
For instance, consider the couples George Burns and Gracie Allen or Paul Newman and JoAnne Woodward. Needless to say, these couples were meant to be together. And, you can bet, if they engaged in a act normally meant for husband and wife on the very first date, their relationship would have crashed and burned shortly thereafter.
Of course, the popular culture glamorizes cheap, indiscriminate sex as romantic. I only hope that we don't fall for that stupidity. Plus, it is deadly to an--otherwise--budding relationship.
For a man, it is a "score." For a woman, it is loss of many kinds, especially of her dignity.
