Are big SUV dying their last gasp?
Posted:

Not a big fan of SUV's.
I just never saw what their "Purpose" was????
I mean you can't haul chit like an old truck and they slurp gas like crazy.
Plus I just hate them here in Iowa for the simple reason they think since they have 4WD they can fly at 100 mph on ice. Ummmmm its ICE and it doesn't matter how many wheel drive you have. It never fails, on the HWY to work on the first Ice storm of the seasons there are always multiple SUV's in the ditch with their owners calling tow trrucks on cell phones.

Sure I have goals and ambitions...but today is what counts.
Here's what I like to think: Both my feet are in the here and now, but my erect penis is looking upward and forward to tomorrow
hmmm...my erect penis points west...I better go to the sex and dating forum ASAP!

Gimmie a break!
If it upsets you that a guy looks at other creatures in this world...plain and simple..your insecure.
All people look. We have eyes.
Thats like saying...how come he always hears other woman on the street? God gave us senses like hearing and sight for reasons.

If I were a pot smoker I might be able to answer that
Nope..still can't answer...!
I like the idea of wearing a tool belt to the next date.
Get out the tape measure, square, use the calculator to figure out those complex equations.
Then lay it down...
Sorry baby...you so Asymmetric...go straighten your face out...then we can talk.

Why after two and a half years he still won't commit??
Posted:
9/8/2006 5:32:12 AM
Well, if it wasn't for the internet thingy I could almost understand.
There are many levels of commitment.
I guess what I am saying is that Proposals, Marriage ect,,,isn't the finish line...its the begining of the race.
The red flag is he is playing the field on the internet, and well, that is just wrong.
I am committed to my Girlfriend, love her dearly. Am I going to propose? NO WAY!
But she does have my commitment that I will be her partner, friend, trustworthy soulmate.
These are the things that are missing huh?
Listen to your heart...its the best judge.
Good luck

GUYS: Why the fascination with auto racing???
Posted:

It is obviously a huge thing this NASCAR stuff.
Just cause I don't veiw it as "my kind of entertainment"..then oh well.
I highly doubt that a NASCAR fan would enjoy watching the Tour de France with me.
On a side note, my girlfriends mom hated NASCAR. She started watching it with her Husband and now loves it. My Girlfriend wants me to help her with an Intervention...haha

Are there any known medications to supress sex drive?

Use that power of the sex drive to improve your situation.
Harness that thing and use it to your advantage.
Its mind over matter dude....each individual in the human race has some sort of issue to overcome. The power of the mind is a incredible force.

Future Relationships vs Past Relationships
Posted:
8/29/2006 7:10:17 AM
Are you searching for the same kind of relationship now?
Umm...yes and no.
We are suppose to learn here on earth durring our life right?
Mistakes and defeat often teach us more about ourselves and others then anything else.
If I entered into the same relationship parameters as before....I wouldn't gain and my future partner would be slightly ripped off.
When a relationship ends I think thats when self evaluation should begin. It should be a time of growth and healing.
I know that any future relationship will involve great communication...because that is obviously where my past relationship failed.

Love will find a way?
Posted:
8/28/2006 12:48:29 PM
Is love this great force that will find a way, that will come through no matter what?
Yep.
Love is like life it finds a way to live, survive, thrive.
I don't think you could stop it if you tried.
I think we were put here to love, even though we screw it up all the time. We make war, lie, steal, cheat..but in the end the love that finds a way satisfies the deepest of our needs.

Sure it can work!
You just need to sleep in a fragmented style.
I go to work at 6 am.
She is off work at 2 am.
She wakes me...we chat or whatever...nappy time, then off to work.
The hard part is the days off. She wants to stay up till 4 am and I am crashing at midnight.

I would have to go back and see who posted it, but I saw, "If he is the Father of your child give him 5 chances". I agree with the extra chances.
It is amazingingly difficult to raise children in seperate homes with parents apart.
People do change.

whats with women and harleys?
Posted:
8/18/2006 9:50:24 AM
They make them loud so other motorists will hear them. So many people don't see the bikes or misjudge the distance to them and pull out in front of you. Having a loud bike will make people aware of their presence and if they can hear it they are not as likely to pull out
Now that I have never heard before. I bet the riders that do make them sickening loud have never heard it before either.
When your downtown sitting outside between buildings and those supper loud bikes come up...yes, I know they are there! I say they are looking for the "stare factor"...lookie what I can purchase!
Plus...ever hear of the Dopler Effect?
See I gota call a BIG B.S on this one!
For example;
Next time you spot a straight-piped Harley (or any loud-exhaust motorcycle) riding down the street, I want you to pay strict attention to the amount of noise you can hear as it approaches, compared to the amount of noise as it passes and dissappears down the road. Loud pipes are nearly slient in front of the bike, which is where you would want the noise, if you were going to wake up car drivers. The drivers following behind the loud bike, however, get their eardrums blasted, thinking to themselves "what an ***hole rider!" There's no reality-based justifiable reason to have loud pipes on the street.

marriage, sex, and divorce
Posted:

Dude, I commend you for trying to tackle this issue.
You do need to talk to her...STAT!
Carefull the way you approach the subject. What are her needs when it comes to sex?
I brought this subject up once when I was married and she said, "I just don't want a bonner in my back in the middle of the night! I want to feel loved all day".
Comming from a divorced guy, who gets great sex, I can tell you this.
Talk with your wife. Get counseling. Its never to late.
Great sex does not replace being with the one you truly love. Being a Father that is there watching his kids grow up in the family home. And most important....Being FAITHFUL is the most honorable thing you can do. It will haunt you if your not.
I am so glad that I was always faithful...best moral decision I ever made!

Her Decor vs.Yours
Posted:

I saw to my horror...two HUGE Deer Heads on the wall and other stuffed critters around the place
Ahh...Dead animals...I never quite got this as a decorating style.
When I first got kicked out of my old house, I took on an apartment in the old downtown area from this ancient man. It was an old quad plex with main stairs that went up to the two apartments. HUGE STAIRS! Anyway all the way up were stuffed Gazzeles, Deer, Antelope, Badgers ect...It was really creepy walking up those stairs after a long night at the pub. I was worried they would come alive and bite me.
However, I do own a buffalo rug...so comfy by the cabin fire

First, I asked the question "in marriage, who is always right?" Without the slightest hesitation, he said "the woman!". Then I asked him "If this person isn't happy, no one is happy. Who am I referring to?" Again, he almost squealed like a lil girl, cause he knew he was gonna get this one right, too...he said "the woman!".
Oh your so lucky...you got a squealer! I like this guy already!
I don't want to be banned to the basement, garage or den!
I suppose perhaps a treehouse...but thats as far as I would go!
See the way I figure it, I do all the construction, get the pallet all clean for decorating...HELL...I wanna finish with my style!
I have already decided that if say, perhaps, I do end up living with this gal of mine, I keep the cabin, rent it furnished and go back to the submissive ways of before.

I have always been a decorating nut.
Of course I love my style.
If I wouldn’t have took a submissive role in the decorating department during our marriage, there would have been old circus Tilt-O-Whirls for kitchen dinning nooks, chrome bumpers for pot hangers and many other oddities.
Now I am single and can decorate how I see fit. My Girlfriend does not much care for my Lodge/Cabin cheesy campy cowboy and Indian theme…but I don’t care.
I think at this point in my life I don’t wish to compromise anymore.
Do you think people just naturally take on dominant and submissive roles when it comes to nesting up your hut?

So many people are right on this post!
A big one is who is dumper and who is dumpie!
Maybe it just seems like they handle it better or are hurt less than we are because they have no trouble moving on enough to go sexing up some other chiccie
Sorta true...but...I remember when I was practically distroyed by the end of my marriage. Had no idea it was on the rocks till she told me it was. The divorce was final and a couple months went by and I had a date. I tell you I felt so friggin guilty after I had sex with that woman....AND I WAS DIVORCED! It still felt like I had betrayed my vows.
I think you pay up front or you pay now...all pain and hurt is =
