Need SERIOUS advice from the men out there
Posted: 4/20/2005 12:38:47 PM
"but why would he lie to me at dinner and tell me liked the way I looked and that I was prettier than my picture? He didn't try to score afterwards. However, his face fell when we talked about sex and I told him I didn't believe in hopping into bed with someone early in the relationship. "

TO be polite and just because he didnt think you were attractive wouldn't necessarily mean he would take sex from you if offered.

Why do you have to mess yourself up with tattoos?
Posted: 4/20/2005 11:57:08 AM
some tattooes are sexy, others not so much. Remeber beauty is in the eye of the beholder so one man's ugly tattoo is another man's fantasy

What's the right time to tell him about a potentiallly serious health problem?
Posted: 4/20/2005 11:49:38 AM
the sooner the better I say. If you wait too long they may feel that you were trying to hide if from them. Also you have to think about it in this light, do you have the right to hide information from them that will affect your future relationship and plans?? would you want someone to do the same to you?

Who do you think is a Baseball hall of fame caliber player?
Posted: 4/18/2005 10:25:04 AM
If you had to pick, from this generation of players (can't be retired more than 5 years), 11 additions to the hall of fame who would they be? You can only pick one player per position.

1st base - Mark McGwire
2nd base - Alfonso Soriano
Short Stop - D. Jeter
3rd base - Alex Rodriguez
Left Feild - Barry Bonds
Center Field - Andruw Jones
Right Field - Vladimir Guerrero
Catcher - Ivan Rodriguez
Starting Pitcher - Roger Clemons
Middle Reliever - G. Motta
Closer - Gagne

How to approach wife's sister who staying with us
Posted: 4/15/2005 8:57:41 AM
I found his post hard to understand, thats saying alot coming from me with my record of bad postings! Anyway I guess what he is saying he is turned on by her, his sister in law that is, and feels ashamed, may be??, by it and doesnt know if he should tell his wife to tell her to put some clothes on or if he should hit on his siter in law or if he should maybe say something to her himself. If he takes option one he risks making his wife mad because he noticed and or causing a riff between sisters. If he takes option number two and the sister in law kicks his behind and then tells his wife he risks a sore behind and his wife divorcing him however if she welcomes his advances he ends up cheating on his wife which he may or may not can live with howevr karma is a **** and sooner or later his wife will find out what low life scumbags he and her sister are and kick both their behinds and, hopefully, divorce him. If he takes option number 3 he riskes making his sister in law mad for noticing and maybe she says something to her sister about it and he gets into big trouble. I think maybe the safest thing for him to do is to just quietly move out and start a new life, in a new city under a new name.

Spankie its funny you should say that about fake pics, once I had a woman, at least I assume it was a woman, to send me fake pics, how I caught her was that she sent me pics of women of different races, at different times, claiming they were her.

How many of you feel pressure to be in a meaningful relationship or married? is your age a factor in the pressure? is it a self applied pressure or applied by family and friends?? I know for me, I am 32 years old and almost the last of my friends to be single and never married, I sometimes feel pressure to find the one, however I do not want to just settle for anyone just not to be lonely or alone, yes I know that being alone isnt the same as being lonely. I have been told time and time again that may be I should "settle" but it seems to me that that would be a pointless thing to do in that I will probably be unhappy and my unhappiness will just make her unhappy too. Anyway I am interested in your thoughts on this matter.

Spankie I do not think I said that it means that a person is all about looks just because they want to see a picture first, I was just wondering if it matters to most people if they see a pic on the profile before they reply to a message or if its ok to see it after they have replied to the original message.

Inappropriate relationships

random, that may be part of the reason I started being attracted to her, I thought she liked me, a little at least, more than as just a student. I used to go to her office unnescessarily to have her critque my essays we always ended up talking about everything but my essays WHich kinda encouraged me non directly, in my mind anyway, to want to try to pursue her.

all of the pics I have of me are a couple of years old but I look mostly the same, just no beard or mustache and I weigh less. I have started just sending my pic along with any messages I send to profiles I am interested in. I am still debating whehter or not post mine on here publically or not cuz they are a couple of years old. I do not like the pics my web cam takes, they always look fuzzy. I am buying a new digital camera soon and I figure I will get much better quality pics then and so maybe I should just wait until then, what do you guys suggest I do???.

do you give second chances?
Posted: 4/14/2005 11:30:18 AM
Hmm I kinda of agree with several of the posters tht said it depends on what the offense is that caused the break up. What might be a relationship ender for one person might not be for another, the light in which I asked the question was this, for what would be a relationship ender for yourself would you possibly forgive the transgressor and give them a second chance to make you happy.

I think its because some women, despite what they claim, do go by looks first and in some cases formost. Men do the same thing. It all depends on the person, personally I am attracted to personalities formost but that is besides the point of your question LOL
