Age differences in dating - What's the gap for you?
Posted: 11/23/2009 9:14:48 AM
age difference? I think it would be different depending on the age of person. A younger person will likely have a smaller gap than someone who is older.

Yeah, a machine can be more efficient and reliable than a guy. But you can never replace a guy in the bedroom.

Conflict in the bedroom.
Posted: 11/20/2009 1:12:15 PM
Relationships are about working with each other. Find out her limits but don't push her if she is not comfortable going outside her limits. It might be awhile before she has any desire to go outside her limits so you have to be patient.

Hopefully, things work out. But don't break up if the sex is the only 'problem' aspect of your relationship. If everything else in the relationship is going great, then you have a keeper.

do young women lust after older men?? or is this a mith??
Posted: 11/2/2009 8:18:25 AM
Agewise. I guess it doesn't matter to some extent. I know some 20 year olds who act like they are 40. I know some 40 year olds who act & LOOK like they are 20.

Okay, this is specific just to POF and what I've noticed here.

The older males here are indeed more respectful, more mature, grounded, relaxd, and articulate. The stereotype is that they are perverts which is the case for some. But, generally speaking, the older males here do seem more confidant and know to how to show off the personality & charisma.

looking for intimate encounters on pof

Also, not too many users want to put "intimate encounters" on their profile. This tag can attract the wrong sort of people.

Would you go to a party by yourself?
Posted: 8/16/2009 7:45:23 AM
If its a singles event, the whole point is to meet new people. So, I think going by yourself is the best thing to do.

If its another function, then you have to look at the circumstances.

Posted: 8/16/2009 7:39:55 AM
There are always free events taking place. You just have to keep your eyes open. During the summer, there are free concerts and performances/shows...you just have to find them.

Also, going on a hike...zero dollars. Going out for coffee or tea. Little dollars.

Does honesty hurt more than just dissapearing?
Posted: 8/16/2009 7:37:31 AM
Tough question. But I have to go with disappearing. It typically does bring some sort of closure. Granted, the other person might not get the hint. Being honest has a way of dragging this out and even then, no resolution comes along.

Why would someone not want to meet in person??
Posted: 7/28/2009 10:25:10 AM
try to find out early on if he/she has any interest in meeting in person. Hopefully, you can tell early on if they are hiding something.

No need to be strung along and no need to play games the whole time.

NOT shy and NOT NERVOUS about first dates/meetings.

I think it helps to keep expectations really low. I mean you can't really get nervous or excited if you are excited close to nothing from a first date.

Can any girl learn how to deep throat???
Posted: 7/28/2009 8:15:47 AM
Sure any girl could, but the guy really has to cooperate to make it happen. If not, the girl could wind up choking and coughing......and that would instantly kill the mood.

do men get more sexually perverted as they age?

Thats a funny thing about society. Single women get older and they become cougars. Single men get older and they become perverts.

Is being a virgin a turn off ?
Posted: 7/26/2009 9:42:03 AM
I agree that many in todays society would generally prefer the already sexually experienced. I don't know if I would say its a turnoff but it could make the guy/girl less appealing.

if it stops the flow and mood, then it becomes a turn-off. Oh, and if the neighbors come knocking on the door, then its too loud also.

It all depends on the partner. There really is no right or wrong answer for this. Just figure his comfort zone and expectations.
