Why is friends first so bad?

Friends first aint a bad thing i have alot of male friends and i have had relations with sum 2 and we still get on great together but every women is diffrent, I mean there is sum that if they did ask i wouldnt as because if anything went wrong and you split up and its a clean break then you havent even got the friendship left

On that one people might freak out you but the kids will see that theyre dad still looks out for theyre mum and wants her to be well for them, it also shows that you are still able to get each others help when its needed

Girlfriend has a GUY friend..... what do you think?
Posted:

Women can have guys as friends but bounders have to be set, whats the idea of hiding it from his wife simply because he will be found out and it will be worse for him.

Honestly i think she is cheating or she has just got bored of being with the same person all those years n felt she wanted a change, but he cant be much of a friend if he is seeing your woman behind your back

18 year old girl marries a 40 year old man?
Posted:
9/19/2008 4:23:39 AM
Reading people comments about that its a failure in the making could be wrong when i was 18 i was seeing a guy of 34 yrs old and we worked out ok but then it went pair shaped after i moved in with him!!! After 9 months i left and had to rebuild my life, so i dont personally dont think she is missing out on anything if she is happy

5 months into a relationship is far too early to be thinking of marriage and thinks i think you should both get to know each other abit more before making life changing disishions

Holding onto the past is only going to hold you back the best thing to try and do is put the past behind you and try making a fresh start.

Girlfriend not affectionate
Posted:
7/7/2008 4:16:48 AM
Out of complete honesty i doubt that she has feelings for you, i have been in a place where you are now, and he was loving and everything else and i just got fed up with the fact he was always showing affection, in the end we split as it couldnt take it anymore and feel out of love with him. Try and make a comprmise if possible that you are both happy with x

18 year old girl marries a 40 year old man?
Posted:
6/23/2008 3:28:03 AM
I had a relationship where there was nearly 30 yr age gap it might work but i can see it failing there is a number of reason as to why she is with this man it could maybe be that she is scared of growing up and still wants a father figure in her life or she just thinks that guy her age aint worth the hassle

Guys don't want to be just friends, but girls do, why is that?
Posted:
6/23/2008 3:23:56 AM
Most of my mates are male and its just that i get on better with males than i do females, and yes there has been a couple that i have been attracted too and they have felt the same but it you value your friendship then you dont do anything about it, yes we always look out for each other. Plus i understand men more as im always around them

Should I give up on him?
Posted:
6/9/2008 7:06:54 AM
I think from what u have said the guy loves you but at the same time he is depressed and maybe also scared of commitment of moving in together as it is a big step, so personally i wouldnt give up on him just yet. just tell him you will be there no matter what, but you think you should slow things down and start again, seperate beds and no sex for a few weeks or whatever long you want seems to work. i hope you get through this togetger as a couple x

My ex told me the same thing. I done it and it was the wrong thing to do it just wrecks the relationship and trust that you have with your current partner/wife/husband. I think at the end if the day if you are that frustrarted use your hand

ONCE A CHEAT ALWAYS A CHEAT.
I'm sorry but i think the best thing is to move on and stay with the woman you are with, as now that your ex has broken your trust how could you ever trust her again? The lack of trust in any relationship will just tear you both apart

I think you should try putting your feelings a side and work on your friendship than your feelings because if you dont you will lose a very good friendship by the sounds of it and am sure you wouldnt want that? as they says whats for you wont go by you, so if its meant to be it will happen in time x

Posted:

He maybe a great guy in all but i would tell him to sod off as i have been in the same posistion as your friend, my ex and i had and arugument and he txted me after 9 months of not talking and said get your weight back down to a say 12 and i will get back with u, by that point i was a size 10, we got back together and i moved to england to be with him but then i left as it wasnt working.
If your friend is happy with in her body then tell her to do what makes her happy not whats going to make him happy.

Men in their 30's with no children
Posted:
4/22/2008 5:09:09 AM
Alot of the time women want kids but in your case it has been diffrent, maybe asking your wife to leave was a bit as you could have looked at other things like adopting and fostering, i know it wouldnt be the same as having your own kids but at least you would have given another child a better start in life x

Being Honest about your Past
Posted:

If your boyfriend cant handle the fact that you had a life and a past before him then he has to grow up, every1 has a past and if there new partner cant handle that then that is his/hers problem, you should be able to open up to ur partner then being scared to open up an say, if he wants to know what happend in ur past tell him to grow and act like a man instead of getting upset it about as everyone has a past

I think for guy to live on his own with or without a pet, its amazing coz they pay all there own bills do there own washing and everything else, they dont rely on women to do everything for them which i have seen and been there when it is happening, i think modern relationship/marriages work that way aswell if u live apart, as it means you still have your own space

I think that is a hard one but i would just say that you both love her all the same even tho you dont live in the same house, and that u could arrange it with her mum, that u could get regular access like days out and things as u have brought her up as ur own, because her real day aint around she will always see u as her dad, as for the mother agree to stay friends if thats what u want but dont have a relationship with her x

how long does a break have to be?
Posted:
8/19/2007 10:49:13 AM
I have been in the situation before and it wasnt that long ago,i moved to england from scotland to be with my now ex partner,i never knew any1 where i was apart from him and his family and it was hard,my ex made ever attempt to make me happy which dont get me wrong i was,it took me a while to get use to where i was living and living with my partner,it soon went into arguments and i wasnt allowed to go out without his say so.I also use to come bk to scotland for a weekend every 6 wks or so,and my friends use to txt me from scotland and he would check my phone thinking i was cheating but i wasnt,in the end after both of us going through depression and the problems of our reltionship i went mad and ended it as i couldnt even go to work without being told i was sleeping with sum1 in the work,we tryed sorting the relationship and the problems but it just didnt work.so maybe what im trying to say is try sticking in there and it mgt sort itself out but if u are still having sex stop that for the time being and it could make it stronger x

Is it possible to fall in love with someone you never met?
Posted:
8/4/2007 5:47:37 AM
I know how u feel as this has happened to me i thought i was falling in love with a guy we had been talking to each other for about 3 years... we got on really well and then we met and i moved down to england to be with him and i was living with his family and him,but after 9 months it went wrong and i returned to Scotland,,so yes you can have feelings for someone you havent met but when you do meet just take things slow as people can make out they are something that they arent..
Good Luck
