Is it wrong for a woman (married to an alcoholic) to have male friends online?
Posted: 10/6/2007 8:53:36 PM
NO, it's not wrong at all. I think you and your kids need to get away from this man. I was with a controlling drug addict for years until I got the nerve to take my kids and leave him high and dry!!!! Do what you need to do for yourself and your kids.

What do you think of a peron committing suicide over a broken heart??

Ok, need advice before I loose my mind
Posted: 10/6/2007 8:43:56 PM
No, you're not overreacting at all. I've learned that when people drink, they have a tendency to speak truths that they wouldn't normally. Yeah you moved in with this guy way too soon. Think with your head as well as your heart next time.

Met This Guy On Here....
Posted: 10/5/2007 2:05:04 PM
OK, he's an Assistant Pastor and he's hugging and kissing you while being married? I'm not one to judge or anything, but people in high positions in their church don't do that!!! Second of all, are you stupid?

2nd Round-Should Players have to acknowlege their mistakes or be alowed to Run from Them?
Posted: 10/5/2007 1:50:33 PM
Wow. He's quite the player!! I'm glad you're doing better! It's a sad situation when a person has to play and hurt multiple people. I understand what you have and are going through ' cause I've been there. Forgetting his existence is the best thing to do because he's probably never going to change!!!! Take care of yourself and your wonderful heart!!

Looking for Fireworks or a Lasting Love

I think if you find a person interesting, but there's no fireworks in the beginning, you should get to know him/her better. The fireworks might be slow in lighting!!!

Why women always want to know?
Posted: 10/5/2007 1:21:03 PM
I do agree, we all have a history. But if a man I am dating wants to tell me about his past, I will listen and not get all mad. Getting upset about one's past is just ridiculous.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): You are a quick and intelligent thinker. People like you because you are bisexual. You expect too much for too little. This means that you are a cheap bastard. Geminis are notorious for thriving on incest.

I'm Bisexual and into incest?
Sh!t!! Where have I been?!

People's Sexiest Men Alive.
Posted: 10/3/2007 7:51:56 PM
Yes, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, and Orlando Bloom are sexy. But to me a sexy man is the way he carries himself and when he smiles that lil' crooked grin. A little southern drawl... THAT'S SEXY!!!!!

BBW AND single mom... so hard.
Posted: 10/3/2007 7:18:30 PM
Girl, I totally know how you feel and where you are. I have been single forEVER. When I found a guy who I thought was interesting and vice - versa, he turned out to be either a freeloader, way too heavy of a drinker/pill popper, or, yes it's true a cross dresser. So I gave up!! But I know there's someone out there, as there is for you!! Keep your chin up and love yourself!!!

Loners for life...........the emotionally unavailable......
Posted: 10/3/2007 4:09:18 PM
It really stinks, but I have been on both ends of that rope. It's so not fair for the person who is trying so hard to be close and ends up getting shunned. My heart goes out to you!!!

Is it wrong for a Lady to be offended when called WOMAN?
Posted: 10/3/2007 3:48:14 PM
As long as a guy doesn't call me " Dude!", I'm cool!!!! Personally, I don't find "woman" offensive. There's much worse out there to be called!!!! Ol' Lady comes to mind....

Some people can't handle honesty and it's probably better for you that they run.

Are you into the Goth thing?
Posted: 10/1/2007 10:02:35 PM
I do enjoy some of the music that the industry dubs into that genre. I went through the whole dye my hair black, black fingernails and whatnot, but I was just insane at the time, not Goth!!!

A poem I wrote
Posted: 10/1/2007 9:58:43 PM
I wrote this on New Year's Eve. Someone who I " thought " was special ripped my heart out so this was what I came up with. I hope some of you like!!!

I love you, but this you will never know

the depth of my feeelings or quite how far they go.

In your mind everything's always normal.

I wish I could say the same for me.

I know that you will never love me the way that I love you,

Nor do I want you to.

In some ways we're so alike.

But everytime I'm around you, my !ucking heart breaks

I wish I didn't feel this way.

I wish I'd never met you.

Then life would be normal and I could liv e like I used to.

But now I am sentenced to emotional prison.

How long will my sentence be?

That is my hearts' decision.

Here's another ~~~~~~~~

To be open like a book is to be public.

That I am not.

Privacy is my best friend.

You are just an extended acquaintance,

passing through for a short time.

But soon you will be gone.

And I will have nothing but myself.

Which is fine

That's the way it starts and the way it ends

Goodbye.....

Kinda gloomy, so forgive me for that!!!

Lost, Alone and Confused....
Posted: 10/1/2007 9:29:17 PM
This just makes me think of that saying " the grass isn't always greener on the other side. " Apparently you hurt her worse than you thought and she tried to deal with it, but couldn't. I do commend you for trying to make it work, but some of us gals can't get past that. You should probably consider moving on...

Some people just suck!!! There's nothing else to say. I've met a few people online, then met them for real and never hear from them again. Remember, it's HIS loss!!!

It sounds like you're way too good for her and need to move on and find someone who's ready to be with YOU. What you've gone through does suck, but you'll bounce back!!! Hang in there!!!

Real punk revived??
Posted: 9/10/2007 10:02:27 PM
I think that Punk was an important era in music history - just like the 60's hippy music and the experimental music of artists such as Jimi Hendrix and the Doors. It won't ever be duplicated, though - as many of you have mentioned - there are some awesome bands out there who are, as I put it, trying to honor their roots. 30footFALL is a great band out of Texas who have been around for years and refused to be signed because they won't compromise their sound. That's punk. The era might be dead, but the attitude isn't.
