POF Profile vs. RL Personality
Posted: 7/27/2009 11:36:05 AM
I would have bailed and gotten the hell out of there toward the beginning. A girl with that much history and trouble at 16 only leads to more trouble.

That said, my profile is pretty much who I am. I'm a goofball, I poke fun at life, I'll say and do nearly anything to get a reaction from people. This might cause some women to run for the hills as soon as they glance at my profile, but I'd rather have that happen than we waste our time going nowhere.

Women with multiple cats - sign of mental illness?

I'm in agreement with zong15 about the dogs.

Would you believe her...

I'd say she likes playing mental games - why the hell would someone mention that? "I want you to meet some of my old **** buds...here's Jim, Frank, Bob, James, Peter, Francois, Stewie, Elaine, and Bartholemew. The others we'll hang with next week."

RUN! This chick has too much negativity around her and will bring you down.

Body Image perception = confidence or hesitation?
Posted: 10/29/2008 8:58:17 PM
I may be odd, but I like women who don't have that Barbie look or that traditional look. I prefer a woman a bit unconventional - she has some little quirk or "flaw" that makes her unique. I find that much more sexy than someone who obsesses over their looks.

Do you ever get bored with dating, sex, and everything else?
Posted: 10/11/2008 4:10:57 PM
It's not just you, bro. I think we all go through times where we feel dating, sex, etc. is not worth the effort you spend to make it happen.

what is everyones opin on tattoos?
Posted: 10/11/2008 4:04:26 PM
I love 'em. LOVE them. I find them very sexy on a woman as long as there's a meaning behind them. If they walk in and get some random flash because they "just feel like it", then that's not as exciting.

I have a large tattoo on my upper left arm (seen in my profile pics) and plan to get at least a half-sleeve before I'm done. Possibly more.

Has anyone ever broken the bed?
Posted: 8/27/2008 7:59:42 PM
Yep, broke it about 1 month ago I was with a "friend." I don't think we were overly excited, but in the middle of making the beast-with-two-backs I hear, "kkkk....kkkeeeRACK", and a couple of beams blew out. Luckily, I have 4 supporting the frame, so we didn't fall. I've got 4 new STURDY boards holding up the bed now.

Would you open you marriage to save it?

I'm in agreement with BigDaddyJinx. Putting a band-aid on an open would won't solve any relationship problem.

Tongue Ring...Yes or no?

Depending on the skill level of the person having the piercing, I think that makes the difference.

I love tats and piercings, so I'm cool with it.

How much information is too much?
Posted: 8/27/2008 7:45:54 PM
In my opinion, something not too short and not too long works. Give me enjough information to get a feel of who you are and what you're looking for while making me want to know more. Could I be more vague?

I skip over profiles so long I'd need a bathroom break to finish. I also skip the ones that have one of two quick sentences that tell me nothing. You gave me nothing to work with, so I'm moving on.

Does that help or am I rambling?

do men actually exist that date women with kids??
Posted: 8/21/2008 11:31:39 AM
I'm currently in my first single parent relationship - she has a 14 yo daughter who lives with the father in AZ and she's raising her 6yo son on her own.

It's been interesting. Her raising him on her own has made things more complex than I'm used to, but she's a really cool chick so I'm not running away. I'm looking forward to meeting the little guy (we both agreed we should date a month or two before I meet him as "mommy's friend") and watching some cartoons with him.

Any suggestions would be more than welcome. I'm a kid at heart and have always gotten along with friends' children around his age.

If kids come first, are you willing to come second?
Posted: 8/21/2008 11:07:11 AM
The woman I'm dating is raising her 6yo son on her own and she's of the mindset that she comes first. She never neglects him and provides for him, but she believes if she's not happy how can she make sure her son is happy? Her son may be 6, but he's a very independent little guy.

She never introduces a guy to him too soon, which I agree is very important.

For those that have been married before - would you do it again?
Posted: 8/21/2008 11:03:31 AM
I'll never say never, but if I found the right woman I could stay with for the rest of my life and felt like I didn't need a piece of governmental toilet paper saying we're legally bound, then I'd be her boyfriend for life.

Wow, sounds like something Gene Simmons would say.

Tit for tat.....
Posted: 8/21/2008 10:15:03 AM
There have been many times I've done things for the lady I'm with and didn't expect anything in return. I've gone down with the intention of only satisfying her and not worried about getting anything in return - knowing she was satisfied and glowing with pleasure could have been all I was seeking.
