Thanks for the advice everyone, I hate confrontation. Usually guys never ask for a second chance when I break up with them. I was afraid of being a meanie because his dad died early this month. But I have to do what is best for me and him.

I met a man about a little over month ago. We had some dates, and I am not the least bit attracted to him. We have different political views. He doesn't tip the waiter/waitress. I tried to break up with him a few days ago, citing that he didn't call me when he promised to. But he asked for another chance. I am seeing him again Monday, and I really want to get rid of him. How do I get rid of him for good? He is like gum on my shoes. Thanks in advance.

1) Use your uniform pic as the default. A lot of women like men in uniform. 2) Change your user name to something else. It sounds arrogant. It might turn off some women. Maybe something like "marine_man_(your area code)" or "Ooarah_Semper _Fi". Use your military background to pick a new user name. 3) I would change the bit of your obsessive behavior of washing your hands to "I like to keep a clean appearnace" or something to that effect. I think it can work out. Your friend know all these tidbits about you. My best friend is the sweetest guy and is like a brother to me. We tried to date, but it didn't work out. Sometimes friends can be lovers.

I am friends with a great guy. We knew each other for 11 years before we dated, but it didn't workout. We were too much like family. But we remained friends after breaking up. Now he has a great girlfrined, and I am happy that he is happy. If we didn't wait too long to date, who knows. I might not be here now loking for my match. Such is life.

I agree with Luv Karla, don't use the pic of you with another woman. Use a good pic of just yourself, preferably smiling.

Hi, Your profile has a good start. You have a few spelled some words wrong. You ought to find a diferrent picture for the default. Maybe a close up of your face smiling. I like the pizza bit, it was unique. I would omit what you said about your rating.

I would suggest that you delete the pic of the girl kissing your cheek. It scares off potential women. Use one of the others. #2 is a good clear view of you.

Welkome to POF, I would suggest that you use a different picture for your default picture. Maybe you can use one that has a clear shot of your face without a hat and/or sunglasses. I don't think all those smileys or emoticons are necessary. Good luck in your search.

How about a clear pic without the sunglasses? You have a lot of info that is crammed together, maybe space the stuff out a lil more. Pare it down a lil bit too. Hope this helps.
