Guys....can an overseas internet relationship develop into smoething more than....
Posted: 8/30/2009 4:32:34 PM
Well i for one would love to know if this worked out for you, as i am in the throws of a similar situation.

I have been chatting to a woman on a daily basis & would like to see about taking it to the next level. She is from overseas and we have chatted about meeting up one day.

IMO i think something like this can work if the two people involved really want everything to work out.

How did you come up with your screen name?
Posted: 4/19/2009 6:18:52 PM
I chose mine because of my shining shaved head. I'm lucky enough that I will never catch nits, but if I did the slippery surface means that they wouldn't be able to grip so they would only be able to skate around trying to hold on.

Assistance in finally getting a restart with XP & IE8.
Posted: 4/10/2009 6:18:09 AM
Is anyone using IE8 with Windows XP?

My mam installed it onto her XP run pc & now the system wont restart. It gets to the Windows XP page on start-up & then theres a blue scren flash. After that it just returns to the very beginning of start-up again.

I've tried to get into windows by using safe mode, but the same thing keeps happening.

If anyone can help i would really appreciate it.

Thanks all.

Congratulations to Chelsea tonight, glad to see the back of John Terry for next week though.

Sadly Chelsea will just sit on the lead & keep everyone behind the ball. Hopefully the comeback kings can show what they're made of & wipe the floor with the blues though.

lets just say Liverpool were fortunate against Fulham...not lucky but fortunate.

How do you work that out then??? More like they were UNlucky, as in unlucky NOT to have a truck load more. Obviously didnt see the same game as others did.

I guess there's no limit to how little you write on the threads anymore.

On the subject of Liverpool, i think there's a very very good chance that we can win the title this year. I do admit though that Man poop are in the driving seat & that they need to do themselves damage than others do it. Hopefully a couple of results here & there will go the way of THE Mighty Reds & football parity will resume once more.

The signing of contracts & the lack of uncertainty will now put Liverpool in a great position to put the pressure on the mancs that they havent had in recent seasons.

Formula One. Raikkonen..

Raikkonen is just like every other finnish driver! If it's not going his way & he's not in the top 3 during the race he throws the teddy & spits the dummy. I'm not a big Hamilton fan either, but at least he races & tries to pass....sometimes they may be a bit optimistic, but he manages it & mainly without incident.

Well the fia is at it again, helping the lame donkeys, by taking the points off their far superior rival. At last though a new name will be engraved on the constructors.

Next year everyone will have to beat the latest team to come into Formula.....namely F.I.A.

Loving the look of the new cars, although the Ferris wheels look more like something you'd get on a fair ground ride......Mind you thats what you get with a bunch of kids in charge.

Thank f**k the designers have had to get rid of all the garbage hanging off all over the place. I've never seen anything looking so ugly than last years cars since i woke up at the side of Nora Brightwell the morning after a drunken night out.

I'm so looking forward to watching the tamed stallions cheat their way to more race wins. Don't get me wrong I like Massa, but really wish he wasnt at a team that shows nothing but unsportmanship behaviour when things dont go their way.

All i can say is, if Cardiff are unhappy about the decisions in the English league then maybe they should join the Welsh equivelent & go for the Welsh FA Cup.....But then again TNS would beat you anyway.

Well just typical, the italian faker carries on with his sexist remarks. you're obviously too ugly to have one of magnificent women so walk on flabby.

As for pedro, i thought you was better than that, i never thought you'd throw such bad insults at a lady.

Obviously your hair is in the way of eyes, because jo0312 is one gorgeous looking woman & someone you'd be lucky to have your arm.

If you two guys think you're attractive, take a look inside, because you seem very bitter & would be better getting help.

Not only is Yorkshire a couunty lads, IT IS the centre of the universe AND you should be crying at the fact you dont come from here.

OT I for one hopes that Capello gets a good chance to prove the PRESS wrong, i dont think many of the rest of us think anything that bad about the guy IMHO.

But then again we can all dream.

Oh & if i get banned for this I DONT CARE!!!!

I cant actually remember saying anything bad about Capello, all that sticks in my mind is that i think he should be given a chance.

The only people that i can remember saying that he's a waste of space are the newspaper idiots.

find7nemo i totally agree with you. Who are these people to say what & how things are run on the planet that we ALL live on

For instance, when i voted for my MP or the person i wanted as PM i expected them to tell me the truth about everything (Oh I flooking forgot this members of parliment that i'm talking about).

I've had my kids close to tears over the rumours that we're not going to exist. I'm scared for them & others. Ok so it might not happen, but who out of all these lunatics (the scientists) have experienced anything that could be the outcome.

I mean ffs they didn't even know what was going to happen when they switched the sodding thing on!!!!

get away with a few nudges (In BTCC)

You've got to be kidding once again, there's more ramming than in a night of going on the dodgems at the fair.

As you will tell me you used to be a F1 driver so I will say "Yes I was too"

Not what i was going to say at all, What i was going to say, is that I have had my fair share of Kart racing and without being big headed was pretty damn good. The reason i mention this is because you rubbish everyones opinions about racing lines & i have had experiences with racing. Following & leading.

done advanced driving and my own fair share of night lane racing a bit of rallying (Through road construction sites) and some carting.

Because of your above comment & the obvious sarcasm that was included, this leads me to believe that above quote about your racing experiences were quite possibly a dream that you had as a child.

Watch some BTCC,

You've got to be joking right Touring cars are nothing but joyriders on a race track for crying out loud.

When Tim Harvey says "That's a fantastic clean overtaking move by Plato" And he's actually telling the truth, that's when i'll start watching the tripe you've mentioned again.

Can I ask you if you've actually ever raced? I'm just curious that's all.

HAMILTON DEMOTED FROM FIRST
Posted: 9/10/2008 9:13:13 AM
It is so blatantly obvious that quite a few of you have come on this thread just for arguements sake. There's people who have got an opinion about F1, who

1 Haven't got a clue about the rules
2 The ways in which the cars can slow to speed in milliseconds
3 Dont even watch the sport

I sat with my Dad watching the race live on sunday afternoon & as the F1 fans amongst us know, you can overtake on the outside of a chicane. The reason for going on the outside at the first part of the chicane is so you are on the racing line for the second part.

I'm not saying i'm the biggest Hamilton fan, but he did nothing wrong at the bus stop, he went to the outside & was 3/4 of a car past the red shed into the first part of the chicane. The reason why he had to turn left sooner rather than later was because Raikonnen locked up & almost slid into Hamilton. Lewis could have taken the true racing line coming out of the bus stop, but that would have ended the race for both of them.

He took the right & sensible option knowing that he would have to give the place back up to Kimi right away gave the place back. If he had come straight on to the track an accident would have happened & Hamilton would have been lambasted for doing this.

To all you none F1 fans this meant that Lewis Hamilton had to decelerate (slow down to all you none race fans). He did this immediately & gave enough gap before accelerating again & taking the place on the by driving down the inside of Raikonnen, who lets face it isn't the best of drivers when put under pressure. Proof of which was taking anose dive into a concrete wall.

I will say one thing against Hamilton though & that is that he shouldn't have make a complete muck up at the start of the race, fair enough it was quite possible it was partly down to cold tyres, but he should have compenasted for that situation.

They didn't charge me enough!!......
Posted: 9/9/2008 1:50:20 PM
A few backs I went & bought a new laptop, the one i chose was £400 but there was another better rated system.

On my way home i noticed that even though I was charged the said £400, the assistant actually went into the warehouse & brought out the better laptop (Which in actual fact should have cost £600). Needless to say i was tempted to take it back (Honestly), but decided against it.

OP If i were you I'd keep my mouth closed about it, but then again the person on the till at the time may possibly lose their job over the missing £20. Not for the fact that it was a genuine mistake, but they may accuse the member of staff of dipping into the till.

On the idea of handing the wallet in. I wouldn't bother, because it's always COLLECTED by someone, & it's not usually the person who it belongs to.

jo0312 it's pointless listening to frankenfurter, because he knows nothing about everything. Or should that be everything about nothing I just can't decide.

All he does is repeat more times than an episode of Dad's army.

OT I didn't watch the match, but even if they didn't play all that well they still got the win & that's what counts.

The team will gel & play better & win better, whereas Italy have only got ONE truly great sportsman & that's Valentino Rossi (but that's for a different thread).

Who do you think will win the English Premier League 08/09?
Posted: 9/4/2008 2:45:18 AM

This statement is ridiculous, especially when you have keepers like Peter Czech, Edwin van der Sar , Joe Hart, Shay Given,David James, Paul Robinson in the Premiership, and every one is better than them 2. Tim Howard wasn't even good enough to stay at Utd.

So you're not including Pepe Reina in that list then Whitey.

I agree with Cech being a good keeper

I also agree with van der sar being a good keeper (although he's well past his best)

David James......Still a great keeper on his day (although prone to the odd gaff)

Paul Robinson.....you've got to be joking right

Joe Hart......Fantastic young keeper & probably the best prospect to fill the England keeper jersey

Shay Given......For his size he's got a good presence in his area

But the thing that all of these men haven't got is the Golden gloves award for he last 3 years in a row. Ok so Reina's prone to the odd lapse in concentration, but he still the most outstanding keeper in the Premiership at the moment.

There's no arguing with that fact as the awards are there to prove

I'm looking forward to seeing Ben Foster playing again, because he will be the only that will Joe Hart a run for his money in the battle to be the England no 1.

The only sad thing is that Foster is still a Man Poop player, Oh well we all have our crosses to bear.

Aaaawww broncsbuff!!! Poor you, are you upset that the ladies are coming into their own in something that was once a completely male dominated sport (using the term loosely).

I don't pretend to know or care about this sleep, if not coma inducing sport, but you seem slightly bitter that a woman is playing a game in which you could only dream about being that good at.

Maybe if you golfers concentrated on improving your own games, rather than being so negative against someone who is obviously better at it than you are. Then & only then can you spout off about the ways someone else plays.

Am I right in thinking that AT LEAST ONE of the TOP MALE competititors was recently disqualified for having one too many clubs in his bag.

Surely his sponsors should have wrapped it round his neck, thus making sure he never forgot again.

I've not long since finished cutting & pasting a clip from a MSN chat. This has been put in the Technology & computers threads.

The only reason i have done this is to get assistance with a possible virus on a friends computer.

I wouldn't do it for any other type of chat that i had with anyone else, as other chats are private & personal.

Ok there are people out in the world that deserve the death penalty or that have done something that deserves such hatred (In my life a certain blood relative). But some people are just so bitter, twisted & total scum that they wish for others to suffer, just so they can feel better about themselves.

Ghost in the machine....MSN signing on alone!!!
Posted: 7/12/2008 3:57:09 PM
I've had a check & can't find anything that quite fits this situation, so here goes.....

Earlier tonight I told my daughter that it was time for her to go to bed, so she had to switch MSN off & shut my computer down. About half a hour later she signed in again, then about twenty minutes later the same again.

Getting a bit fed up that she hadn't done as i had asked, I decided to go see why she was still sat at the computer. I switched the landing light on & did a double take. There laid in bed fast asleep was my daughter.

I went downstairs & booted up the system only to find out that she wasn't logged in. Although it was showing up on my laptop upstairs.

My question is, has her MSN address been hacked, allowing her to still use it herself or is there a fault somewhere?

I know that her password is a stong one & she hasn't written down anywhere, so i can't understand where the problem lies.

My laptop is at this very moment saying that she is signed in even though i made sure she is signed out correctly & the system downstairs is switched off (Including at the mains switch).

So please what could the problem be?

Could u invent a T shirt that has two uses? :-)

I'm sorry to say but the double t-shirt has been invented, it was designed & produced by Nike.

Not only can it be worn as an everyday t-shirt, but it can also be used when you are caught short & need something to wipe your ar$e?

It was especially created with the armchair sportsman in mind.

Red & slippery on one side & White & rough on the inside.

Thankfully it's only worn by Man Utd fans

I'm not really a polical type person, don't get me wrong I vote everytime so I can have my say & put my opinion across. Which is probably more than some do. They probably have a say & don't do the decent thing & vote for the right.

Mrs. Thatcher wouldn't have stood by & watched our youth murder one another, she wouldn't have allowed our homes, jobs & money to be taken by illegal immigrants.

She would also have been tougher on prisoners, none of this table tennis, playstation go where you want when you want $hit. I wouldn't have been surprised if she'd have signed them up for conscription & tour of duty.

This country needs to start standing up for itself first, rather than stick itself up Bush's rear end. The only way to start that is by the government being tougher & ignoring the P.C. brigade for starters & actually saying NO!!

BIGSUNRISE.......as you rightly said I am not you & we both lived differently. I didn't have a childhood.....Well apart from the beating AND worse.

Thatcher - Dead?

she was evil...

Pray tell how can someone who stood up for the rights of the country she loved so passionately, be deemed to be Evil.

Did she ever have thousands of people tortured & murdered?
Was she an evil dictator who mad this country fight for nothing more than OIL?

Or did she send our troops in to HELP save the lives of people on a remote island being attacked by Argentina?

I suppose she's worse than Bin Laden, Saddam Hussain, Gaddafi & Mugabe.....These are evil people, not a woman who tried AND succeeded in helping the British people.

What do you know about the suffering of people in this country at the hands of this evil woman?

I was there, I suffered...if she is dead I AM GLAD.

Please tell (If not too private) how she made YOU suffer!

I was also from that era & I can't remember suffering at the hands of an evil dictatorship.

If Mrs T (or someone with her strength) was in charge of the country, there wouldn't be the mindless murders of youths that are going on today.

We wouldn't have so many illegal immigrants finding their way in to Britain & the NHS wouldn't be in the state it is in

When she was PM she was a tough but a very fair woman & loved the country she was running & still loves to this day. I bet she really hates what the Labour government has done by the way they've just let us fall into the gutter & be washed away by the rains of misery. All because she was more man than the men that have run the place in recent history.

We've had Blair who was a yes sir no sir man to the yanks, Brown who's got more chance of becoming Mr Universe than he has of becoming a good politician & we had old Dr Livingstone, who spent more time lining his own pockets with the congestion charge than he did doing good things for the population of London.

And has for the Mr & Mrs of the cabinet (Yvette Cooper & Ed Balls......these two are more like Cannon & Balls). All she seems to ever do is get her face splashed all over the Pont & Cas express just to satisfy her over-rated ego.

If she's doing a job for the government, then move them out & keep them down there & let someone do a proper job in their constituances.

This country needs more like Mrs Thatcher, Enoch Powell & tough hearted people who love this land, not ones ho want to surrender it at the first opportunity to some scumbag that comes along.

Rant over & off my soapbox.

Oh one last thing.......

WE LOVE YOU MRS. T.

I'd rather Mrs Thatcher be back in charge, she wasn't scared to make a decision & was a tough tough woman.

These idiots in charge now & previously (Blair as you've twisted my arm to name names) helped ruin the great work that Mrs Thatcher put in to make this country what it once was.

If theses rumours are untrue then, she could still do a better job than the labour party.

If the news is true, then R.I.P. & God rest your soul Mrs T. This country was a better place while you were charrge.

Come on even I take the mick out of myself, so NOTHING you or anyone else comes up with can get at me.

Just wait until Bruno is in Formula one , he'll carry on the name of his uncle and show the horses what they missed out on when he passed up the opportunity to drive for them.

Oh & to the poor Ferrari team my heart goes out to you all.........Yeah right

I hate Ferrari (Only the racing team that is) as much as you hate Japanese cars

Can someone please tell me if Massa was in training for a new reality show......Formula One on Ice.

A joke as to how many times he actually spent spinning.

He spun more times than a fairground roundabout & then past the bug onto Raikonnen

Pointing out facts.

If you look you are the one who got smart first.

Proof of childishness, you started it no you started it blah blah blah.

I never came on mentioning you in my first post of tonight. so how is that me starting it.

You don't defend.....You put a point across then give out racist remarks to anyone that challenges your beliefs.

An example of this is the remarks you made to a certain asian lady who was posting in a thread about Euro 2008.

Ferrari are not a bad car at the moment, but I reckon they'll be on a downward spiral without the likes of Todt, Cobbler & Brawn. Although when the going gets tough they plead for the help of Schumacher.

Prost being taken out by that animal Senna in 1990

Senna openly admitted to taking him out. Prost still hasn't come forward & told the truth about deliberately turning in too soon at Japan.

The Japanese will be more than a match in engineering than Italy.

The only outstanding that comes out of Italy is Valentino Rossi. Politte in winning & even better in the embarassment of a hammering defeat. Now there's a true gent, think you could do with learning from him.

Being a racist bigot doesn't become you.

What did you fight the ww2 for ?

I don't what that's got to do with WW2, but to answer I didn't fight in ww2 fella....Mind you neither did the Italians they ran scared as usual.

That was slightly off topic of you. Aww are your feelings still feeling like you've stuck your hand in a blender (all tattered & torn) from being trounced.

Don't forget that it was a German driver that got your Donkey of car into the near thoroughbred status that you seem to think they are.

Ferrari were nothing until Shoemaker came along, along with Jean and Ross Brawn (The true brains behind the making of the car).

Here's to his tenure at the helm of Honda, whom he's already turning round & will be a winning car in no time at all.

Hahahaha Frankski......

Not really a case of prancing horses today, more like a pair of soaked asses

I was very sad to see Coulthard miss out on a chance of a good result possibly a podium at his last British GP.

Here's looking forward to the new home of British motorsport, Donnigton & the Craner curves.

Ooooh the memories of Senna passing in the rain. R.I.P.
