Back in high school the guy i was dating was an hour away and as a joke my dad found an "application for permission to date my daughter" and i mailed it to him. he knew it was a joke and had some really thoughtful and cute answers. i still have it somewhere... but as a serious note, hell no i wouldnt fill it out. first dates or meetings are like interviews as it is. no need to make it seem even more like a job position waiting to be filled.

As long as he is properly trained, there is no big deal. Keep them locked up, away from kids and all is fine. I grew up with a cop for a dad, avid hunter for a grandpa, and soldier for a bro. I have no concerns about guns. I know how to use them properly and feel more secure with one myself. ESPECIALLY home alone. The attorney i work for even has them here in the office...mostly antiques though lol.

although the gesture was sweet and very romantic he may be pushing the extreme. I think it was nice but maybe did a little too much...i wouldnt mind say, the brunch taken care of OR the gifts. but both of them and within 2 months maybe its a little much. i would feel there was no way to show my gratitude to a guy if he did all that at once for me.

maybe she is busy for a week straight. get over it. some people ARE too busy to make plans right away. for instance i really only have one night a week to go out...between 2 jobs, classes, and trying to keep up on house work i literally only have one night to plan for myself. get off her back and stop ****ing about it. if she is worth your time(more like if youre worth her time) you will wait it out to see if she likes you or not.

I have mine pierced and have for 4 years. I got it, not to attract guys or not attract them, but it's something I wanted for myself, I find it attractive. It's never been infected and guys(and girls) compliment it all the time. Just like others have said before me, its an opinion. I don't care to have 12 earrings per bc I don't find that attractive, but then again it's none of my business what they have done. I don't have plans of removing it anytime soon...especially if the only reason is a guy I'm dating doesn't like it.

just into a LTR and these are the things i miss when he is away the way he wakes up before me and gently plays with my hair and watches me sleep until i decide to wake up and cuddle up closer to him. kisses and hugs when we pass in the hall when family is around and get those two seconds alone together. arguements that arent arguements...him just annoying me bc he knows it gets me flustered and pouty...so he can come kiss me and make it up to me.

depends on the single dad. i want them to be honest about having kids but i dont necessarily feel its best for me to meet them on the first, second or even third date. the guy im dating now is a single dad and i do ask about his son bc i understand he will always be around and part of his dads life...and i want to support his son and show him that step parents arent horrible people, some actually really do care. but he has a mom and his dad(both love him very much and have 50% custody-from what i understand) and we dont plan on introducing his son to me until we've been together for a while longer and are sure that i wont be in the door and out the door of his sons life.

that would have to be walking the 50 yard stretch from my hospital bed to the restroom while i was in ICU a day and a half after open heart surgery!!! It hurt like hell, but it was that or pee in a "hat" behind a curtain. ~~um ill walk so i can pee behind closed doors, THANKS!~~ lol

ive had several guys tell me "youre smart beautiful and talented, dont waste your time with me" maybe not always those exact words but that idea. anywho my question is, are they scared they wont be good enough to please me or is that just a cop out bc they dont want to break things off with me and tell the truth? id really like to hear from the GUYS on this but girls id like your input too. maybe youve gone through this situation before?? id really appreciate it!!

for a child to ask a step-parent that, it probably means an awful lot to them and they feel close to the step parent!!! i think your friend should feel proud and appreciate the fact that he asks that. not many kids like or get along with a step parent. i wonder why someone wouldnt love a kid as thier own if they were married to their father. i understand she didnt bear that child but i would think loving that man means loving his child abundantly and hoping to be loved in return by that child, having her own kids or not.

pretty much sums it up. old fashion dating is "courting" like in the movies. maybe holding haands maybe a peck on the cheek at the end of the night but nothing super sexual about it. it was a very respectful time to get to know eachother...not just the opposite sex's body.
