I don't post pics of my kids on pof but I don't disagree with it either. For me it's just a personal choice. Everyone is talking about the chance of pervs looking online, what about the park, grocery store, teachers and priests for crying out loud. You can try your best to protect your kids but truth is they are never 100% safe. If a perv wants your kid it doesn't matter where. Media is causing too much fear these days it seems. All we hear is about predators or swine flu or terrorists. Do they exist, sure they do but they always have. We don't stop driving our cars because we might die, we don't stop eating veggies because of a salmonella scare and we might die. So bashing someone for posting a pic of their kids because they might get targeted is a little silly. You could not post pics and drop your kid off at church next sunday and bam! I told my kids from the time they could understand that no one is allowed to touch them no matter who it is. Education is key in this case I think and being sure that the communication channels are always open. Teaching them that there is no shame in telling you anything. This is the only real way of protecting our little ones, education and open communication, aside from locking them up till they are 20 lol

I call bs on this. The whole I know a guy thing!!! Why would the police launch a full fledged investigation for a guy soliciting a prostitute, that involves his workplace. Unless there was some other stuff he had done in the past. Having sex with a prostitute is not illeagal, soliciting is. If he's using an escort service there is a good chance he's not breaking the law. "Technically" If op is alex or not is irrelevant, the point of the matter is the guy is a decent human being and he has sex with prostitutes. Big deal. Plenty of people do different things in the sack and don't get this kind of abuse for it. Would you stop being friends with your best pal if he or she told you they had a threesome? Or if she went to a bachelorette party where there was a stripper and she stayed for more than 4 min. Probably not. If it ruins Alexs career or he goes to jail that's his problem, not anyone elses. With most of these responses it's easy to see how someone can feel inadequate or outcast.

My god!!! Maybe after being rejected for the past 15 yrs or so he's had enough. Is he not entitled to enjoy sex like the rest of us? Wouldn't want him on your block?? Do you have any idea how many of your neighbors could be seeing prostitutes or strippers?? How about swingers or into bondage? MOST sexual activities don't mean anything other than fun. It doesn't make people freaks. You don't even know the guy! It's very hard for us average or less guys to get noticed by women, toss some shyness into the mix and you get either a 31yr old virgin or a guy who sees prostitutes. Does he need help with meeting women, of course but let's not start throwing names like freak, pedo or loser around. The guy just wants to bust a nut. Doing it 3-4 times / week I'd say he's just catching up on lost time.

mandakay, I was refering to a post where someone said the wife shiuld forbid it and that the husband didn't need friends like this

Protect the child from what? The guys sex life has nothing to do with the child!! If the mother has a friend, lets call her peggy sue, and this friend goes out friday and saturday nights and picks up a different guy or two per weekend, should she not be allowed to be around the child as well? Or is it ok because she is getting it for free?? If the guy has a history of being a sexual predator or pedo then shoot him if he comes onto your property but if not then the it's a case of over reaction.

I think the wife is afraid her husband will like the idea of hookers and strippers. She may have issues of her own to deal with. So the guy never had a gf. A lot of guys are terribly shy with women to a point where they won't speak unless spoken to when they are attracted but have no problems just shooting the $h*t with women the don't like "that way" I know one myself. He's totally awesome not a perv or pedo, just completely freezes when it comes to women he likes. Escorts provide a service that most people need without the fear of judgment etc. Is it healthy for alex in the long term, probably not but he can easily get help. Is it healthy for a partner to forbid her adult husband to see someone or be so insecure? Probably not either. just my $0.02

Doesn't really matter to me as long as a person takes precautions and is tested what difference does it make. I think most guys especially when we are younger would sleep with as many women as we possibly could, yet some freak out when their partner has had more lovers than them. I guess they are looking for an experienced virgin pornstar or something.

^^ I think this is bang on. My ex wife is a lesbian and I can honestly say I've seen this a thousand time with her straight friends. When they are out at the bar they are all over each other kissing and fondling etc to get any attention they can, and of course they do. Guys hooting and taking pics with their cell phones etc, but once they were not in that situation all these girls wouldn't want anything to do with another girl physically or relationship wise and it got really frustating for my ex, one second she thinks this girl is really into her and the next it's like nothing happened. I think young girls need to think twice about what they are doing and show that they can be a lot more than just a piece of ass
