music most definitely
children (my sister is a toddler and can make the crappiest days so much better with a hug or an "I wuv you, meesa")
cuddling/kissing...affection in general
laughing
waking up and looking at the clock and seeing that you have another hour to sleep
the silence of snow falling
fresh sheets on the bed. AHHH it's glorious
venti, extra hot, no whip, peppermint mochas from starbucks
christmas spirit

there's a lot. I enjoy life.

Is it still hot to be a musician?

Go get a boombox and a cassette tape of "In Your Eyes"- Peter Gabriel and stand outside a girls window holding the boombox over your head. Works like a charm and you don't need an instrument.

YES! hahaha

I agree with a few posts in here. I'd wait until the relationship you're in is somewhat serious. Personally, I find guys doing things like that romantic...which might be better later in the relationship, not right from the get-go.

To Bring a Gift...

I think it depends on what kind of "connection" you have with this person so far. Do you have a lot in common? Do you see this date having potential for something more? If so, go for it!

Like others have said, it's not mandatory, but it's a nice gesture sometimes. A few months ago, I had a first date with a guy who contacted me on here. We figuered out that we had a ton in common once we talked more; went to the same highschool (eventhough he was 7yrs older), had a bunch of the same teachers, and he even TA'd in one of my grade 12 classes.

First date comes along, and we hit it off really well. He'd bought me a book of Elizabeth Barrett Browning's classic poems (we both had a love of english literature) which I thought was really sweet.

I felt like he was diving in way too deep (talking about forevers and how I made his life amazing etc etc) and I didn't feel comfortable in that relationship anymore.

I guess this is just me trying to explain that everyone's situations are different. Nobody on here can really tell you if bringing her a gift is a good idea or not.

I currently live in Cloverdale and work as a care aide in a long term care facility. I'll be going to Kwantlen next month and taking some pre-nursing courses. Hope to be accepted into the Bachelor's of Nursing program.

for those who like random tidbits of info, I dropped my moms fridge door on my big toe and its been able to bend in wierd ways ever since haha.

look forward to talking to you guys!
