Saturday Sept. 27th at the Camelot Ballroom! Lots of people to dance with, great group, very friendly plus free lessons! What a great variety of dancing. If you know how to SWING - you'll have a great time. If you don't - you can learn, and if you don't care to, you can join the rest of us just dancing however we like. DJ takes requests and plays a wonderful mixture of music! Here's a night of Fun Dancing. Bring your friends or come meet new friends. Join up with other singles in the Kansas City area this specific evening for a night of dancing to the music you love! This is a SINGLES Dance so what a great opportunity to have some fun and meet other singles besdies the ones on POF. Singles groups from all over the city have been invited! Roz - you won't sit out! The guys in the Singles Supper Club are super about getting every one up to dance and sometimes, we just ALL get up and dance - you'll have a good time, read some of the comments at the supper club about the last one

For those of you worrying about male to female ration - a group coming from the Kansas City Singles Supper Club has 11 women so far, not including me. And we still have over a week to go and it usually fills the last week. the last time, we had PLENTY of Women!

honey, let me be the first to tell you that these dances are filled with women! Last one I went to, we never let my friend Wally sit down even for a minute! Ask cycletolive - he was there and he had women chasing around asking him to dance every time he took a break!

I still can't do a mass email. I wrote you about this and posted it. Had an earlier event with more than 20 people, then a 2nd with 10. When I try to do mass email for this one, it tells me I need 20 people or have had to have events totaling 20 - which I have. http://forums.plentyoffish.com/datingPosts10244094.aspx#10244094 Please email this one since I can't thanks

I've got blinking lights too - some rings, mainly clip pins (like the old fashioned earrings for non-pierced). They're a buck a piece. Let me know and I'll bring some. Batteries are replaceable

Hello, I had an event last week with 38 people. I set up an event this week and am not able to send a mass email invite. CHINA STAR does not serve alcohol but you can bring wine if you like PLEASE RSVP by TUESDAY if you're going - we need to give a count to the restaurant so they can set up a room. total going including other friends not on POF is over 60 If you're 45-65 and you'd like to meet people in a different way, join us! We've got a private room starting at 6:30 for as large a group as we'll need. This is a great way to meet people. How can anyone tell what will make someone else feel comfortable? We all have strategies for trust - it's either frequency or time based. Like "if we go out 5 times, it means its serious - or if this relationship lasts a year, it will survive". Everyone has a relationship/trust strategy- they may never have articulated it, or examined it but it's there. Whether it's time or frequency based, which ever it is, is very personal, very specific. You can help it along or at least understand it better, by asking, questions like "how will you know when it's time for me to meet your kids"...or spend the night or whatever it is. I know that when my son was younger, I held back on him meeting someone I was dating seriously because his dad had started dating someone and began to neglect him. So he was terrified if I started seeing someone, I'd start acting like his dad. So it didn't really have anything to do with who I was dating, it had to do with my personal circumstances with my son. You have to ask that/those questions from a place of really wanting to understand.

It's not about what people say, but what they do that's most important. Saying I love you is easy - acting in a loving way is hard. Making you sleep in a car can't be construed as any sort of loving person. And caring about yourself is even more important. Love isn't martyrdom - if you don't care about where you sleep who will? How do you tell what's important to someone? It's not what he says (and it's not in his kiss either :-) ) - whatever it is, you can tell if it's important if you spend two out of three of the following - time, energy and money. Spend some time thinking about what's important to you in a relationship - how you're treated, how you feel and how someone demonstrates those things to you, then go looking for that. Good luck and think about whether you really could love someone who could treat you like that, or are you just loving the person you THOUGHT he was.
