i don't have a problem with being brutally honest....in fact i encourage it and want it.....all too many times i have been deceived which is probibly why i am not in a committed relationship for shear fear that the person is lying to me about something.......i am an open book about my life thus far......my past is my past.....the future awaits and the present is here and now......being honest about your life to me could save me a lot of heartache later on.........

i was with someone for almost 12 years and my parents didn't like him in the slightest.....it put a huge strain on our relationship but nonetheless i stayed with him because thats who i wanted to be with........i wasnt embarressed by him or his kids...whom i raised....or anything like that.....if my parents didn't like him that was their choice but i was the one who ultimately made the decision to be with him and they finally accepted that..........

there is one particular "fishy" on here that i just adore........whenever i come on i always look to see what he has posted for the day...i think he knows who he is ( i have professed my undying love for the man on here numerous times!) but alas...the chances of us actually getting together are slim, since we are so far away from one another, but a girl can have her dreams can't she? I like what he stands for... a no-nonsense attitude with the "like me as i am or bugger off" way of thinking....and to me he is a man, meaning he is strong looking and looks as though he would be so fun to hug! i dont think society is that shallow.....at least in my experiences with men......i think we all have idiocincricies about ourselves and no one is perfect ( although some like to think they are) if our problem isn't physical, then its emotional, and if not emotional then maybe its phsycological, its part of being human to have at least one problem!
