women bring up the past because they either never got over what it is that the guy did, or because the past has repeated itself which also reminds them of the mistakes that were made. Mistakes are something that happen and you learn from them. If the mistake is made again, well it is no longer a mistake.

a lot of people are single for most of the right reasons. some arent. There is too much of this "sex buddy" stuff going on, relieving mainly men of the stress of having a relationship. If these sort of "relationships" didnt exist, most people would be in a relationship. Also, people dont hold on to people anymore like they used to. Everyone is always looking for something "better". and once they dont find it, they are left alone.

sometimes people make decisions in relationships (like marriage) cause they always need to move forward. SO, after you've dated for a while, it only makes sense to move forward or break it off. Most people are afraid to break it, so they make it. Then once its all said and done, they look at everything and wonder what the heck happened. Everyone is so into whats going on around them that they dont look within.

I dont say it until i know i mean it. i have said it to one other person just to get him off my back but i felt like crap about it. mostly because i was lying just to make him feel better. But, i have vowed to not say it to another individual until i know i mean it. And yes there are different types of "i love you's" friend and lover...two different things

i think that may depend on why you broke up. you may be in search of a similar relationship and are not finding it and the only way to get that again is be going back in time or at least back to her. yeah that is such a sticky subject! i guess it depends how strongly you feel about the person, if you are ready for more in life and out of the relationship. when i was younger it became rather easy to talk about these things. now at 23 i find it extremely hard. Not knowing where I am headed because of the things that have crossed my path in this lifetime. Yes, i would love to get married one day and have 3 beautiful children and love and feel loved. as for right at this very moment, things are uncertain and im not really up for that sorta convo. But, i think that after 6 months when you get a feeling for that person and understand each other better, and know where things are going...it should be a good time.
