Posted: 8/24/2005 9:01:29 AM Well hi everyone! Ok, I'm a relatively new dad..... I'm 28 and my daughter is 8 months old..... Why is it that it seems that a single father has such an uphill battle? I was living in Louisville but moved back to a city I hate just cause I could not be a once a month father, I ...... I'm trying to make her the center of my world but the mother is fighting me tooth and nail.... Its killing me a little each day when I can't see her.... Not only that but as soon as someone finds out I have a child its instant arms length... I would think that in this day in age someone who is trying to do the right thing would count for something..... We actually have the term M.I.L.F..... I'm NOT trying to offend anyone but 99.9% of us know what it means.... Now why is it we have a term like that, and nothing for the men who, well, act like men! A vast majority of children lack any form of POSITIVE roll model (you go ahead and count on those pro sport players if ya really want to) I, my self, am a single father with a three month old... Now, she is the most important endevor I will EVER have. I am moving so I can be more than a once a month dad! If a woman thinks its a turn off who cares? Let her chase the "bad boy" or what ever floats her boat... Just Know the tune will change when she's doing it all alone.........   Show ALL Forums
