In Portland, maine I highly recommend the Village cafe. you can get anything from Pizza to Lobster there - and about everything in between. Prices are good, food is excellent, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very good for converation - no loud bands or other noises.
Someone care to meet me there some evening..?

Class action against Yahoo Personals and Match.com for fraud

I would like to find the name of the guy who initiated the lawsuit - he should get a copy of this entire blog to use as evidence toward his suit. Looks like he has more support then he ever know!
I am wondering if anyone conducted any 'test's with Match.com like I did??

Class action against Yahoo Personals and Match.com for fraud

Count me in too!
I was a member of Match.com for about a year and can 'confirm' that their message system is not reliable. When I called them on it, one operator admitted there was a problem, gave me only 1 month of credit, then they send me nasty messages for having 'conducted tests' on their system. I had sent a test message to another paying match.com member who happened to work in my office -- she never got the messages I had sent - nor did I ever get hers that she sent to me as part of the test.
At the time I was a co-host for a radio program here in Maine and I called them sighting 'facts' that their system was 'broken' and Match.com refused to comment.
I hold stock in the corporation that owns Match.com - I called shareholder relations and they never returned a call.
If someone is starting a lawsuit count me in. I would even be happy to provide testimony of my direct experiences.
I gave match.com more than ample opportunity to 'work with me' - basically saying give me credit in the form of service for the year that their system was 'broken' but they would not budge.
Incidentally -- I saw several people in Maine go to Yahoo personals from Match.com after my radio report aired.
Respectfully - Mike in Maine
