What is the big deal about meeting people in a bar/pub?????
Posted: 4/2/2008 7:25:32 AM
i used to LOVE clubbing and dancing and thought people who just sat at bars where boring alchoholics. then i thought that i'd rather not pay $18 for a $2 beer and there are usually WAY too many people at the clubs and half of them looking for a fight. now i like to go to clubs if friends are going, especially for special occasions like birthdays, and i usually alternate every drink with a bottle of water so i don't get too drunk... but if i'm going out just to go out, i'll pick a friendly bar every time. if nothing else you can actually hear what the other person is saying.

of course these are NYC clubs, maybe it's different in other places.

obviously don't drink as much! but I find that it's WHAT you drink as much as anything else. sticking to clear liquids helps a LOT and even then, the cheap shit will always make you feel worse than the good stuff. one trick, if you REALLY have a drinking problem, is to buy the cheap crap and put it through a water filter. the more times the better. it will help the taste and take out a lot of the impurities and other crap that gives you a truly bad hangover. Of course if you have a filter in the refridgerator dedicated just to your alchohol, there are other problems you should probably address besides the hangover.

now if you'll excuse me, i gotta get something out of the fridge...

for years i was definitely guilty of going to a bar and waking up in the wrong bed, but nowadays it just doesn't seem as fun getting trashed and wasting away the weekend recovering. bars have turned more into a place to hang out, play some darts, and relax a bit. i may get flirty now and then and MAYBE get a number, but i almost never call if we were drunk when i get it. it's always a little blow to your ego when they say "who...? man i don't remember, i was trashed last night"

kravv? which martial arts is the best?
Posted: 3/27/2008 2:02:17 PM
i couldn't agree more. i don't even remember how old i was for my first lesson and i loved it. we moved way too often to ever advance very far but i've always loved it. when i joined the army and stopped practicing, i gained bulk but my over all conditioning actually suffered. 10 years later, i still haven't managed to get my 6 pack pack

kravv? which martial arts is the best?

i've dabbled around in a few different styles when i was younger and while i've never seen somebody use most of them in down and out brawls, i've seen many sparring matches and they all seem to degenerate until the indivudual styles become blurred. in the end a snap kick looks like a snap kick. i've also noticed that while a nice flipping through the air looks cool as shit and works on stationary targets, the person you are fighting rarely stands there and waits for you to finish. i've seen so many people attempt a spin kick or something similiar and fall flat on their ass because the guy moved in a lot closer or in the worst cases, attempted one as well adn they ended up tangled up. it was like a bad movie.

the one thing i liked about kickboxing was the simplicity. not a whole lot of wasted movement and you don't have 50 different blocks for each strike they could throw. i also like the fact that once you put your hands up they think "boxer" and you get to disillusion them with a shin to the (input body part here.) on the other hand, it can be boring and a lot more physical than technical. at least compared to the other possibilities.

truthfully, i've only been in one or two real fights in my life and just knowing the basics was enough to come out ahead because the majority of people don't even know that. so i don't think i really need to know how to kill a man 8 times before he hits the ground. i think the next style i choose is going to be based on the fact that it LOOKS cool as shit lol.

i saw some students in NY passing out flyers and they were crouched really low with their legs spread pretty far apart and smoothly transferring their weight and turning/spinning. i don't know if they could fight their way out of a paper bag but it was pretty damn cool to watch... and i like to bike, so strong legs would be a bonus. anyone know which kung fu that might be? (i'm assuming it was kung fu.)

Lack-of-Sensitivity Training
Posted: 3/11/2008 11:40:31 AM
lol, but you wear a burka around here and people stare trying to visualize what you're hiding. you can't win. i have to agree with an earlier poster. i was brought to my friends birthday party at a gay bar. at first i thought getting checked out was funny and it was fun actually having someone buy ME drinks for once... but after the twentieth guy hit on me i wanted to slug someone! it gets OLD and no, i didn't say no to the first 20 guys becuase i was waiting on YOU to hit on me! (if i had a dollar for every time i had a girl say that to me...)

on other hand, i found a place to get free drinks and ... i don't know if you know this or not guys, but most women feel VERY uninhibited in a gay bar. i've seen women take tops off and occasionally stripping almost all the way down thinking that it didn't matter, everyone was gay anyway... they are also MUCH more approachable for the same reason. and more than half the time at the end of the night you get the question "so... are you 100% gay...?" to which i reply,"no, no i'm not..." i don't mention that i'm not gay at all.

Aggressive Driving
Posted: 3/11/2008 7:14:50 AM
this might help

How To Drive Like You're From NJ.

1. Turn signals will give away your next move. A real NJ driver never uses them.

2. Under no circumstance should you leave a safe distance between you and the car in front of you, or the space will be filled in by somebody else, putting you in an even more dangerous situation.

3. The faster you drive through a red light, the smaller the chance you have of getting hit.

4. Never, ever come to a complete stop at a stop sign. No one expects it and it will result in you being rear-ended.

5. Never get in the way of an older car that needs extensive bodywork, especially someone from NJ or PA. With no-fault insurance, the other guy doesn't have anything to lose.

6. Braking is to be done as hard and late as possible to ensure that your ABS kicks in, giving a nice, relaxing foot massage as the brake pedal pulsates. For those of you without ABS, it's a chance to stretch your legs.

7. Never pass on the left when you can pass on the right. It's a good way to prepare for people entering the highway.

8. Speed limits are arbitrary figures, given only as a suggestion and are apparently not enforceable in any County during rush hour.

9. Just because you're in the left lane and have no room to speed up or move over doesn't mean that a NJ driver flashing his high beams behind you doesn't think he can go faster in your spot.

10. Always slow down and rubberneck when you see an accident or even someone changing a tire. This is seen as a sign of respect for the victim.

11. Learn to swerve abruptly. NJ is the home of high-speed slalom driving.

12. It is traditional in NJ to honk your horn at cars that don't move the instant the light turns green.

13. Remember that the goal of every NJ driver is to get there first by whatever means necessary.

14. In NJ, "flipping someone the bird" is considered a polite salute. This gesture should always be returned.

THANK YOU & HAVE A SAFE JOURNEY

it's not a big deal and i'd do it if she wanted. the problem is that the only way a man CAN taste his own is when he's already come...obviously. but after that all the chemicals click off and he's left satiated, sleepy, relaxed, and with a big wad of man juice. it's the equivalent to waking a woman up in the middle of the night with a spoonfull of the shit and saying HERE! TRY THIS! if there was a way to get him to try it when all the endorphins are still kicking in, i'm sure a LOT more men would be willing to try it. once the endorphins wear off though, all the stigma's about men tasting sperm kick in.

Have you ever tasted male ejaculate?
Posted: 3/7/2008 12:58:50 PM
yeah, one of my friends would go down on a girl, stop, brush his teeth, then go back for sex.

a girl once told me that she'd only blow me if i let her give it back to me. i said fine and held my ground until she got close and opened her mouth. it all started gushing out of her mouth and down her chin. i screamed like a little girl and was out of the bedroom before the scream finished echoing. i said it before...in the moment i'm up for ANYTHING...but just sitting there and taking a mouthful of cum...sorry can't do it.

and yes, i know it wasn't fair but i just couldn't do it. of course i was 17 at the time so im sure i wouldn't be that bad now...maybe i won't scream before i run out the door. na, i could do it if SHE wanted me too but it's not something i'll do for the hell of it.

lol baby batter

cum, semen, sperm, jizz, spunk ,splooge, ejaculation, jiz, man juice, baby batter, cumshot, jism, load, love juice, man milk, seminal fluid, sex skeet, spooge ,****cream, ejaculate, giz, goo, wad, come, man paste, nut,****paste, man chowder, yogurt

amazing how many terms for the same damn thing.

i've been single so long all i know is that my shower drain might need draino pretty soon.

i haven't had a regular partner in...damn is 2008 already?( what happened to 2007? i seem to have skipped a year) and because of that this is pretty much a moot point for me because it all gets flushed the second i pull the condom off...or, much more often, goes down the shower drain. Why is it hard for women to Date men with kids?
Posted: 3/7/2008 11:15:59 AM
man or woman, it really doesn't matter. it's just that more women end up with the children. it's just a huge responsibility and you have to go into that relationship knowing that there will NEVER be just the two of you and you will never have ALL of their attention. and many times you will have to accept that you will always be second place. it tears a lot of marriages apart even when they are both the biological parents so you cant get mad that people can be hesitant to jump into an already established family.

there are also a lot of women want to be "the one who gives him the gift of that first child" i can understand that feeling, but excluding absolutely everyone who's ever had a child for that one reason seems a little...

but saying no because you believe that the dad is a deadbeat just for not having the kids fulltime is simply ignorant. SOMEbody is going home without the kids and it's usually the father. i know there ARE a lot of deadbeat dads out there and they just cut and run... but if that was the case, why would they even ADMIT to having children. no, it's the responsible father who either gains custody or doesn't but stays and helps out as much as he can with both time and money who ends up dealing with all the stigmas that come with being a single dad.

Posted: 2/29/2008 12:09:06 PM
i say forgive but don't forget. like you said, technically you weren't together at the time and she gave you another chance when you cheated so she deserves the same. (don't think she didn't know...women almost ALWAYS know) maybe she did it because she was hurt about the breakup or maybe maybe not... let it go but watch for signs to see if she's still doing it.

Why do men stare at womens boobs & think we don't notice ???
Posted: 2/28/2008 11:50:27 AM

Believe it or not, cleavage is society's way of putting the shape of the top of the buttocks into mainstream view. Primates are attracted to this shape, and humans are in that order. Butt cleavage is taboo, but the other is socially acceptable in modern Western culture. THAT is WHY they stare at your chest.
Look it up! Learning is fun!!!

so when people talk about motorboating a womans breasts, they really ...

NY: Older Women, Younger Men
Posted: 2/27/2008 12:47:34 PM
in the looks department, yes older people are always at a disadvantage. (though i've met some CLEAR exceptions to that rule) but that aside, i think that younger men are attracted to the more carefree attitude that many older women adopt. no matter how good your girl looks, you WILL grow accustomed to it after a while and unless there is more to it, all the drama becomes more and more evident. wether yound or old, someone who is simply FUN to be around is like a breath of fresh air.

but age is a bit like money. it shouldn't matter but unless you are truly dedicated to the relationship it will, sooner or later. 20-40 no problem, 30-50 sure why not, maaaybe 40-60 but even higher and you are in two completely different places. my father is in his 50s and still loves to go white water canoeing, horse back riding, sailing, etc. i really have a hard time imagining a 70 something woman able to do that with him. i guess if you wait long enough is stops mattering again, lol. i remember a long time ago in the news a 105 yo man married a woman in her 80s. that's a 20 year difference but i don't think anybody said anything, lol. im not saying it's impossible, just a lot harder than a conventional relationship.

oh and you think jersey is bad, drive in Korea! the general consensus is if that they're bigger than you, they have the right of way. as far as i could tell that takes priority over all other traffic rules including yeild signs and stop lights. very few accidents though. something about abject fear that keeps everyone on their toes.

Aggressive Driving
Posted: 2/25/2008 1:32:38 PM
he's starting to remind me of a guy in another thread who had never been married and has no kids telling all the single parents how to raise their children. he kept spouting crap oblivious to the fact that EVERYONE else on the forum disagreed with him... all of them must have been wrong because it couldn't have been him. i live in jersey city and i'm not an aggressive driver. i usually stay with the flow of traffic and i don't think i've ever driven under 80 mph on either 95 or 1-9, except maybe for weather considerations. everyone is going fine then you start to see all these people slamming on their brakes and swerving because of the ONE guy in the fast lane going 65 who just KNOWS he is correct and every other person on the road is going too fast. and WE'RE the safety hazard. i will agree that i hate the people who shoot up behind you and start flashing their lights when there's a completely open lane right next to me (why should i move out of the way when YOU'RE the one in a hurry... ?) but if he's the third person in a row to do so, maybe you should get the hint and either speed up or move yourself into that lane so the faster flow of traffic can move on.

i'm just curious about the person who goes on a site from another state and tells everyone there how wrong they are. we do it differently maybe, but for NJ that is the right way to drive. nobody here is going on to a nebraskan site and yelling how all of you are husking your corn the wrong way cause WE dont do that way. i'm not saying there aren't people driving WAY too fast that need to be pulled over. there are people like that in every state. it's just our median speed happens to be a tad faster than everywhere else.

hint. if something feels wrong and you look around and everyone else is doing the same thing...maybe it's you

Ever do something weird on purpose with a date?

eyepatch...i like it! i lick the ocassional face and if a girl does it to me i'm sooooo hers. my friend and i stood at the bar drinking our beers with our pants around our ankles for a good 20 minutes before anyone even noticed. luckily i remembered to wear underwear that day. NORMALLY if the girl is reserved then i'm reserved...sorta. but if the girl is quirky then i love to just let loose. girls with a sense of humor and who do random things are a real turnon to me. as long as it's not over the top like running around a bar with their pant around their ankles. that's just too much.

as for women not wanting to meet, doesn't bother me. i'm MOSTLY here just to waste time at work. if i find somebody that interests me then i'd be more than happy to meet them somewhere but if not...hey it's that much closer to quittin' time.

that's true. it takes me a day or two to even NOTICE there's a new event going on let alone make plans to go. as most of the events are a good hour away from me (damn you long island people) i need the time to figure what's what and of course see if anyone interesting has signed up yet. if it's just the person who created the event forum and two other 60 yo guys, i'll probably pass... unless they have candy... i like strangers with candy.
