Yes, the roadhouse is fun and I'm there frequently but it's not great for dancing. Usually a live band... usually jazzy or blues... and blue jeans and beer. Again not bad.. just different then what I was looking for. Both are fun at the right time.

Well, I've heard alot now that it is a younger crowd. I didn't think they could afford it..lol. There is also 29Park and I was at a POF function last year there. Nice place but again I know little about it. I just wanna find a place to go dancing with an over 40 age group...lol

ok... broke down and went to Kathy Brown's last night since I hadn't enough time to look into other places.... NEVER again.... was there anyone over 40 in that place?... I doubt it.
I'll drop you a note DB when we have more info on the Mansion or 29park.
The more.. the merrier if anyone thinks they'd like to check these places out.

thanks for the reply. I've been Kathy Browns. Music was ok but the venue I wasn't impressed with. The mansion is upscale and also 29 Park. Last time I was in Kathy Browns alot were dressed in shorts , jeans and flip flops

Thanks so much for responding Divine...lol.. I thought i was talking to myself for awhile. I'm still trying to find out more about the place .. age group.. etc but have one other gf interested in going as well. Lets see if we can spark some more interest in going. I'm not sure it's a "student" kind of place. I was under the impression it was a high cover and not really their style.

I'm kinda new to London , definately new to the single life once more and I'm looking for upscale dance clubs. The Mansion was recommended but I'd love to hear from anyone who's been there. What's the general age group of people? Any input would be greatly appreciated. I also thought it might be fun to do a girls night out but again... I'm rather new here and know few. Would any other ladies be interested in this?

Ok.... I'll give it another try... the last one was a disaster. I'm lovin the look of this venue compared to the last one as well. I'm hoping to make some new friends.....It's tough being the "new fish in the pond". London is very "clicky".

Well that was a disaster..... live and learn....one of the "unfriendliest" events I've ever been to but this was the first one in the London area so maybe that's it. Good band though.

New to London and I hope the "clique free" statement is true. This is the first event I'll be attending and I'm literally dragging a friend to come with me. Would be nice to make some new friends.
