Long hair on older women
Posted:

I really think that long hair gives the older woman a more youthful appearance. I say the longer the better. Keep it growing!!

Who takes your pictures?
Posted:

I did not have what I considered very good pictures so I went to a photography studio. While they are ok, I would like to have some photos of me in a more casual/fun environment. Anyone have a camera?

Do you think it is possible to honestly fall for someone before you meet them?

Absolutely possible. By conversing on the phone, emailing, reading posts on forums one can definitely develop an attraction towards another person. For guys physical attraction is very important, but when you really get to the brass tacks, attraction is developed on a number of other criteria or factors - personality, value system, common interests, humor among many more. What we call "chemistry is a mixture of these and other traits that combine to create an attraction. It has happened to me more than once.

Pets in Bed

My dog sometimes will sleep at the foot of the bed. If it were to bother my girlfriend, then I would probably not allow the dog on the bed.

What is your personal fitness routine/workout regimen?

I do some sort of aerobic exercise at least 4 times a week. Usually, it is a cobination of spinning classes, stairmaster, elyptical precor & treadmill. I combine that with free weights
and hammer workout machines. I do weights 3 - 4 times per week. Other than that, I kayak & hike for additional exercise. I try and use stairs instead of escalators or elevators as well.

Love at first sight?
Posted:
9/26/2007 5:31:16 PM
I believe there can be an attraction at first sight probably for both sexes based on looks or some other characteristic, but probably not love. Love as other have pointed out comes in due time after both people get a chance to know one another and accept the good, the bad and the ugly. I think the forums to a great extent provide some insigt into peoples' values, thought process, views and so forth.
I've heard some women exclaim that they were not immediately attracted to the guy, but after talking to him, they discovered how funny he was, how nice he was or what ever else. On the otherhand, some guys who look like they are GQ material turn out to be shallow or insensitive jerks. My point simply is that true and lasting love is a process that involves time, experiences, discussion, and patience.

How long do you wait before complimenting on Physical features when you meet someone?

I agree with stillalicious that eyes, voice, cute skirt are ok. Find something that you like about her and give her a sincere compliment. Breasts and the rear are definite no nos.

oral sex and the double standard

Both partners should want to please the other. It is very selfish for guys to expect head and
to not recipricate. Part of the fun of sex is giving pleasure and making sure your lady is satisfied.

The 50 to 1 rule
Posted:
9/25/2007 11:29:21 PM
It is fairly easy for me to meet women in public at a variety of places. I ususally talk about something fairly mundane that happened locally or something that may have happened to me earlier in the day. What I think is difficult is turning that into the ultimate question of
"Would you like to have a cup of coffee or something similar" I would be willing to try it for a day on a weekend. I suppose nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Long hair on older women

I love to see long hair on "the older woman". I'm not opposed to short hair on women, but I believe long hair is extremely feminine and makes women look younger and more vibrant. Keep it growing!

Men and their Age Issue?
Posted:
9/23/2007 6:55:37 PM
While it is true that age to a great degree is a state of mind, I believe that this can also be an indicator of other half truths or flat out lies. I certainly understand about putting your best foot forward to try to present yourself in the best light, however, I believe in "Truth in Advertising". In my own profile I have stated my real age - 50! That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Personal Hygiene fanatics vs. Those who don't put much thought into it
Posted:

While watching the news the other night there was a story that demonstrated that men and women(more men than women) fibbed about washing their hands after using the restroom. While men claimed to wash their hands something like 90% of the time, the actual findings were more like 67%. This was discovered thru the use of hidden cameras.
Having grown up with a dad who was a Phd Bactirialogist, I grew up in a household that stressed good hygene and cleanliness. I for one always wash my hands and use a paper towel to open the door. They say Cleanliness is next to Godliness.
