I am hoping to make it, if I survive moving over the Labor Day weekend. I heard the band last weekend and THEY ARE GOOD!!!!! A good variety of music and great dancing music. And, thanks for the dance Eddie! You are a good dancer.

Sticking with the bucket list~ after reading the posts~~~~ I guess I had better get a passport! Such a deal! Put that on the bucket list. CeeCee, I am with you on the bucket list of being a couple! That would be a nice thing since I am very much at odds without mom. I will respond in the comment that your relationship with your mom mirrors mine, except I am an only child. So now, there is just me and the grand kids!

I used to drive truck and have been in 47 of the lower 48. I would love to see Maine since that is the only one I haven't been in. I am planning on the cruise to Alaska.....but since I really don't like to fly that much - I guess I will wait for the bridge to be built to Hawaii. Of course, if I could find the right person to hold my hand and comfort me during the flight - just might make a change of plans on that one. I made several trips in the truck with mom as my co-pilot. I lost her the first of this year so the rest of the trips will be in her memory. She loved to travel.

Tonia, I will do desserts.........more than likely cupcakes since they are easy to handle. I will have the info this week on the T-shirt idea and will send it to you via email. Then you can do what you want with it. I think I will have one made up for me just because, LOL. I will also get one for Mikie since he started all of this and I owe him a belated birthday present, LOL. I am so looking forward to all of this! It will be great to see everyone again. I agree with part of this, I do forgive - sometimes way too easily. The likes to lead part isn't me either. I can give advice on decisions, but can't make them for others. Other than that, the rest fits. So I guess maybe I only fell part way from the tree, LOL

The Faternal Order of Eagles is holding a horseshoe tournament on May 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. to benefit the Good Neighbor Center in West Memphis, AR. The Eagles is located in West Memphis behind Advanced Auto on Polk Street. This is an open event to everyone. There will be BBQ sandwiches available and also and other things. Come and participate if you want to, you do not have to be a member to attend. This is for a good cause. And if you guys and gals have nothing planned this is something to do.

WOW!!!!!! My hat is off to all of you all! It was a spur of the moment decision for me to come and I had someone offer a ride - give me 30 minutes and I will be ready!!!!!!! I am so glad that I got to come. It was a good time, met some new people, got lots of and and got to do lots of . I even went and who knows maybe I had the right bait this time. LOL Never know! James, So glad to hear that you are doing fine. sorry that I didn't call this weekend while I was in Atlanta, but training was real extensive. Also Michelle and I didn't get there until 5am and we only got an hour and half nap before taking Saturday's schedule. It was over at 5 and both of us were out like a light. She took her kids and fed them and went back to the room and passed out for the night. I went to my sis' and on the way home we stopped for dinner and then when I got there, I was out like a light. Got to get more vitamins, lol. We left out early on Sunday and I got home at 9p.m. and Michelle and her girls got home at 4am. They live in Seneca, MO. So it was a rough weekend, but we survived. I am putting you on my "dance list" for when you make it up this way. I would love to take it "slow" LOL I am ready for the ing and the ing and the and I am definately coming prepared to go Love ya all Doris

But, since I am changing and finding "me" in the year 2009, I had to take this step forward. Tonia, I know you and count you as one of my friends. You are a very beautiful person inside and out. That is what people need to look at. You know that the old saying is that "beauty is only skin deep". Believe me it is true. Some of the best looking people that I have met both men and woman have been the most ugly people inside when you got to know them. That isn't what a relationship or friendship is about. My favorite saying is one of my grandmothers: Some men like a lot of WOMEN, but somewhere is the man that likes alot of WOMAN!!! And the ones that don't find us, well it is their loss! Doris

Oh Darn, miseltoe. I forgot to get mine that was hanging in the middle of the room in Southaven. Now I will have to find a new way to get the kisses when someone comes in my front door. I have had that thing for years, it is kind of like losing a really great friend, LOL Oh well, Jim let me know if you need some practice, I will be willing to volunteer on behalf of everyone, I still haven't decided what I am going to bring, but will let you all know in plenty of time. I will just keep an eye out for what people are bringing and then decide. I am going to try to get Amy to come with me and maybe one of the guys where I am working the guard position at. Hey!!!! What a great idea! Count me in! If there is anything that comes up between now and then that stops me, I will let you know. I do have a few unsettling things going on in my life right now. I will do the potato salad again........(if Mike gets my bowl back to me, LOL) Hope to see everyone again and get some hugs. They are needed right now along with the prayers. Doris
