I tried to book my ride for Sunday and they have a shortage of Paratransit buses so I couldn't get a ride. I doubt that I will be able to make it :(

Originally a levee was a reception held at military establishments where they opened the doors to the public and wined and dined them. Now it is a reception that many of the service clubs hold that are open to the public. Some of the clubs offer free food. A lot of people go around to all the clubs to visit and sample their food. Of course, these clubs are always open to the public nowadays due to the lack of WWII Veterans so all are welcome at any time. As for New Year's eve.. sorry, I don't think there is. We seem to have a shortage of people willing to host events and NY eve is too big of an undertaking for me.

Cyborg.. not everyone signs up. In fact most times I get more attending that did not sign up than the ones that do LOL AND... all events have more women than men but usually it is a pretty good ratio

Paul, yes, there is a Timmies right there. The restaurant is staying open til 9:00 just for us. I guess it will also depend on how many are there whether they close then or not. Apparently they normally close at 8:00 but staying open later for us.
