Return ticket? Not for different days you carnt!

I love the train. Travel everywhere on it. Went from mid Wales to Edinburgh; return for £209; first Class. Absolutely lovely. If I could go by to train to the states and back; it would be perfect. I always book online; as cheaper then local train station; and I always book as far in advance as I am able.
If you book online; you can buy a ticket for today and one for tomorrow. BUT if you know you are going say 4, 6, 8 weeks or more in advance - BUY them right away. I booked last minute to go from mid Wales to north Wales(which means going to Shrewsbury first); and it cost me only £7.50; and I bought it four days before my trip. If you want to know in advance of seat sales or specials sign up online with the train companies - I have up to 40 % off all train trip until September something right now; and that is just brilliant. Unlike a plane / car and some coaches - I get a hot cuppa delivered to me; I have a wide comfie seat(the chair I am sitting in); and I have the opportunity to stretch my legs; use the facilities; or just sit back and watch the countryside pass by!! Lovely! I love train travel!

The directions which come with one; say to practice in the shower! No kidding!
They are more meant for marathons and long distance walkers. They are a bracket with a tube; the bracket is placed against the skin; and you point the tube in the direction you want to leave your mark on. Yes, guage the wind direction. They also have an extender tube; to give a greater selection of aiming ability. Believe it or not - they also come in pink / clear and I think blue as well; and their own holding pouch!!!
I am a long distance walker; and a mate gave me one for my birthday last month...haven't had a chance to give it a go!! It is meant to give a bit of dignity when walking with a mixed sex group; as guys just whip behind a tree; and in some places bushes are few and far between. Also; depending on the time of year; could be darn cold behind a bush with pants around ones ankles!!!

Profile Needs Reviewing

Yanks thin skinned - a supostion I take - as I am Yank; and I read this profiile and found nothing alarming in it! Yanks thin skinned; perhaps you need to meet more people before making such conclusions!! I worked on a meat wagon for more then 20 years; and if you thing this guys profile offensive; then you don't know what meat wagon humor is!! As for comments about Scotland - excuse me - GREAT place!!! Super people! Are you slinging for the sake of slinging; as you haven't anything constructive to say??
Profile - if you are looking for a woman; perhaps a tad juvenile in some of the comments; if you are looking for a les sophisticated and perhaps a female version of yourself - you should pull!! Nice photos!

Brain surgery- getting my body back!!!

I was medically on steroids; and it takes a long time; before the fluffy effect from the steroids starts to come off. I had more medical steroids prior to surgery this spring; and I fluffed up a bit again. This time; I understand; it is time that takes the steroid fluffing away. Drink water; lots of it; and be as active as you can; without over doing it. Good luck! Cheers

When is it time to give up?
Posted:
6/22/2008 3:09:04 AM
I gave up once; and wasn't even looking; and a great guy found me. Weird story...save it for another time.
Keep the great job; the place you live sounds ideal...and never, ever give up. Sorry about your wife; and the other woamn; couldn't see you through your illness / injury - she had a picture of healthy perception; and your being laid up - shattered it...she couldn't look down the road and see a recovery. I think you have done very well. A limp; wear it like a badge; as it was a hell of a thing to recover from. Congrats!
I think you should invest in your job; the area you live; and continue on your path to health; perhaps play around a bit with dating sites; and I feel out of the blue - love will find you! Hugs

What's the best way to play this out?

Have your friend arrange to meet him at a public place; BUT when the guy shows up; you join them at the table - and let him squirm...I feel sorry for his kids. You deseve better; don't settle on the likes of him!

How did you find/choose your particular path in a non-traditional belief system?

I am a solitary hedge witch of celtic origin.
I was born a roman catholic and educated in a convent with habit wearing nuns fron Ireland. A brilliant education. The fatih of catholicism; scared the sh*t out of me.
When I was 15; I got togther at summer school at Dartmouth Univesity in New Hampshire; and many of felt the same about different aspects of our lives; and though each belonged to a different faith; it was there on campus that we discovered covens and people who had feeling and thoughts similar to our own.
My maternal greandmother; hada gift of vision ; and coudl accuratley foresee things; and a good time line; and the people involved. She was from the UK(her family); and she said that at least one member of her family was born to the occult(as it was classed back in the 70's); and had been as far as any one could remember. It was then I found that I actually felt or belonged. BUT there were factors of being a witch; this or that and strict divisions between the factions.
So, I followed from this what suited me; and I followed from that what suited me; and more then 35 years later; here I am. I came out of the broom closet in the 90's; and have been out and bold ever since. Yet; in saying this; those people who had the same inclinations as I; seemed to find me out; and as I had been on my path for many years; sought my knowledge and advice.
The UK census has many people with a witch background listed; it is accepted here in the UK. There are hundreds of thousands of us. We no longer hide; and we are proud of the persons that we are.
I have more friends whom are non-witch; and they accept me with no questions asked. They seek my advice on things they can't ask of any one else.
Do I ride a broom? No, we gave that up years ago for cordless hoovers / vacuums. Not all witches have cats; and only some of us dance naked under a full moon.
Blessed be...and Merry Meet!

#1) There are two things I dread; altzheimers and then total paralysis. Either of these; and life to be is lost! Pointless. Just pull the plug; whatever - I don't want to live and I don't want to be a chain around others neck.
#2) I was married to satan - he can't offer what he hasn't already offered; and he can't make my life any morehell - then when we were married. et satan offer it to some other sucker!

If you could turn back time?
Posted:
10/7/2007 10:53:24 AM
If I could turn back time; and know what happens between now and then - so I can prevent it; I'd go back to when I was one. From one on that is what needs changing. If it had to be a later age; then 6 or 7; because soon after that I lost my childhood; and have been an adult since. I'd have liked to have a childhood and be childish. Cryptic, unless you know me.

Posted:

I am older then you; If I see a person who looks interesting; I'll say HI!; doesn't mean I am hitting on you. Means, hell man - nice to meet you!
I can't speak for all woman; BUT maybe the young ones are waiting for you to make the move; where us old bags aren't afraid of making a move; because we are more confident!! Just a guess...
