So happy to hear of your brother's gift, bigfish. I too am a recipient. Had a bone graft in my neck, in 2000, and currently volunteer as a speaker for MTS. (an organ procurement organization) In life I have suffered through tremendous loss, but I have also been blessed by someone who chose to pay it forward in their time of loss. Thanks to all who choose to give the gift of life!!!

Attending a POF gathering can be pretty intimidating for some people. I know when I first came I didn't know many people, and at times it did feel like High School again. I rarely meet a stranger, and can talk to just about anyone so it didn't take long for me to get to know everyone. BUT... not everyone is like that. So at the two events that I have hosted, I made sure to introduce myself to those I didn't know. And asked those who seemed to look a little lost to join us at our table. It's funny. Because the look of relief that comes across their face when you do that is a reward in itself. And I have met some great new people in the process. So even though some may not feel that they are "cliquish" it may come across that way to others who are feeling kind of unsure of themselves. As far as the goofy antics that go on here in the forums...UGH! Move on people. The best way to stop it dead, is to refuse to respond to the ones who can't or won't move on! Opinions are like certain parts of the lower anatomy. We all have one, but you don't have to BE one!

I have found the perfect sequel to my tiny plastic neon glasses from the last party....For those who arrive uncostumed, I have a real surprise. Just think how cute you will look in an eye patch, pirate hat and authentic plastic hook. Can't wait to see the pics!!!

I'm thinking that I'd not be interested in the used ones. And would really prefer not to pay postage and handling unless all else fails. Been to Walgreens Wal-mart and Schnucks. No dice. Believe me, I do appreciate the inordinate amount of research you invested in this search of mine. And could you possibly stop by Dierberg's and Shop and Save for a little look see if you aren't too busy? Thank's!!!

I just don't get why I can't find the twizzlers chocolate flavored licorice anywhere. I mean the red kind is ok, but come on people!!! Am I the only one who has noticed this??? I have looked everywhere, and am starting to become really concerned that perhaps they stopped making it. Really trying to get to the bottom of this... Can anyone help me out here???

I don't get people who when receiving a mass mail party invite, respond with a nasty email saying "you are sick, don't ever text me again" ??? WTH??? It clearly states that you are recieving this because you are signed up for events in your area!!! DUHHHH... I did get a good laugh out of it though!!!

I think that just about all of us have a story like that. What I have experienced, and heard from others on here would make quite a novel. People who just can't be honest to save their lives. Personally, I think it's kind of funny that they think after a few emails, and possibly a meeting that it's necessary to make up some crazy story. Sheesh... Hate to tell em, but we're just not THAT into you!!!!

I see it everyday when I am cutting people's hair. It never grows where you need it the most. Some examples..wild crazy ear, neck , and eyebrow hair on men. Have actually had some men whose eyebrows looked like huge dangling awnings. And the poor gals with unwanted moustaches and chin hair. It's like hormones gone amok! No wonder the laser hair removal business is booming!!!

Thank you thank you thank you.... To everyone who came out and helped make this party the rousing success that it was. The music was awesome, the drinks were cold, and the company was the best!!! Couldn't have asked for a better night. I met some really great new people and got to hang with many that I had not seen in a while. Can't tell you how great it was to see you all there. The support that you've all given has just been phenomenal, and it's really restored my faith! I also want to thank all of our sponsors who stepped up with donations, and you folks who manned the front table. It means a lot to all the fish who show up not knowing what to expect and see a friendly face there. Hopefully, we can do it all again next month!!!
