turn ons:
*beautiful sexy eyes...especially blue or a gorgeous shade of chocolately brown...im a real eyes person...i really think you can see and understand a lot of what someone is like from looking into their eyes, i mean, they're filled with emotion, and they never lie..whereas lips can
*fairly well spoken, soft, intelligent sounding voice...
*someone who is settled in life, not still running around like a headless chicken!
turn offs...
*bad breath
*swearing every other word
*dirty clothes-bad hygiene
*farting, burping, drinking too much then throwing up in the bath or on the carpet...

no harm done, and he walks around thinking hes a big stud even today!!!! i dont think that was a bad lie...it didnt hurt anyone!
erm...but apart from that one incident... ive never had any probs! although i wouldnt recommend it with a guy u are sleeping with for the first time...lol

Where Are All The Good Guys Who Want A Relationship Hiding LOL Come Out

kevnar... wot u have just written, is exactly what i think on the subject too. and to be honest i really dont think one sex is any worse than the other...im a girl and i have to say... there have been times where i have met a really nice, sweet, caring guy, but he just doesnt have it in the looks department. its a shame, but i can put my hand up and say that i have been shallow, and not gone out with a guy simply because hes not particularly physically attractive. although i must add...if there isnt a spark...that chemistry...i dont think it would work. but i have certainly learnt my lesson, and a hunky yet rude, ignorant, lazy ex later, ive realised real beauty is from within. i hope i am never that shallow again!

u say u cant make love to a stranger, i totally agree...but would you engage in sex with a guy you have known for, say, 2hours if he pressed all the right buttons?

oh good, i was worried people were gonna say i was old fashioned or something, not really liking the idea of sex on a first date, although...there is something strangely attractive about dating in the olden days...taking it slow, walks in the country, the movies, the romance etc!!

Has anyone ever been dumped via email?
Posted:

#i got dumped by my ex not so long ago...well let me first explain the situation, we were seeing each other for 5months, i guess that doesnt sound too long, but that fact was, we were getting on like a house on fire...and he never gave me any reason to think otherwise...
we hadnt seen each other for 4 days, that was fairly normal as we liked to do things apart so when we did get together...we enjoyed and valued each others company. like most other couples, we'd regularly send each other cheeky kinky texts, emails, or voicemails etc, (keep the passion alive and all that!) so this particular evening we were planning on getting together and having a very fun and 'eventful' evening...so i sent him a text around 2hours before he was due to arrive,i'd spent ages planning dinner, what to wear, etc etc.
i basically wrote something quite naughty, about what i had planned for dessert...(use your imagination) and 5 mins later my fone beeped. thinking it was an equally naughty text i felt my heart do that weird thing it does wen you are in love, i grabbed my mobile only to read...
'kel, i have to be honest with you, im still in love with my ex,although i havent told her yet.im a mess and no good to man or beast.sorry :-( xxxx '
so being as brave as possible, and wanting so bad to be the stronger person, i wrote back...'oh well, never mind, good luck and hope she takes you back...cuz i wont!'

personally i dont think sex is a good idea on a first date...can you really know enough about that person, and feel comfortable enough to go to bed with them?
i have to admit though, im no angel, i have had sex on a first date, although i cant say it was overly enjoyable, i mean, i just remember thinking to myself, oh god, this doesnt feel so good!!
it has its good and bad points like many things, like sex with a guy you have only known a short while is exciting and feels kinda naughty, but theres very rarely any real emotion involved and everyone knows sex is always better with someone you love and trust, or at least have strong feelings for.so i guess im gonna sit on the fence for this one.
i dont think its a great idea, but then again,if thats what both of you want, then go for it!

the thrill of the chase or love in an instant?
Posted:
6/29/2005 7:32:20 AM
To be honest, when i began this thread yesterday, i thought there would've been a mixed reaction, due to the fact that after having discussed the issue with friends of mine, a lot of them were harbouring the opinion that if someone loves and adores you, is constantly showering you with gifts and telling you how much they mean to you,you must be very lucky.
whereas i personally find that too suffocating, and judging by others opinions posted on this thread, that must in fact be the norm!!
Then again, the grass is always greener on the other side, like i said in the original posting, a guy who goes o.t.t with the various romantic gestures, or a guy who plays it cool, makes you work that little bit harder, but the rewards are far more higher and meaningful....

ummm no actually i cant, i have given it a lot of thought and there isnt really....its such a shame, they are the words that are supposed to mean so much...even mean the world to some people, yet now they have just become an over used common phrase which no longer represents anything let alone the feelings two people share....and that sucks....!

exactly, i mean, its like the common use of the phrase "i love you"
would you prefer to hear it every five mins until it loses all meaning and it actually becomes boring...or put in lots of effort to please your partner...and in return you get to hear those three special words...cuz i think thats when they mean the most...

xoxoxo thankyou!!! i was starting to wonder if i was just weird...i mean, theres romance, and all that palava, and then theres desperation!!! i think the way i think has an underlying traditional flavour...i mean, in the olden days people didnt do that did they? just jump into bed together!! they spent time together, went on dates, took things slowly, and seemed to have far more luck with relationships...
i guess that means im a traditional bird deep down!!!

so u would 100% agree? no arguments? a chase is better than immediately falling into someones arms and planning the rest of your life with someone you have known less than an hour?!!

Dating someone who has their body exposed on the internet

i wouldnt date someone who was deliberately showing off their body...mainly cuz it shows they are pretty full of themselves...portraying a negative image of their personality, which would put me off straight away!!

is it just me or is it a real turn off when u go on a date...and the guy seems to fall in love within an hour of meeting you?? is it unusual to want and need a challenge, experience the thrill of the chase??
or is it a respect thing? you know..like if you meet someone, and after only 5mins they're all over you...u just know immediatly its not going to work, how can you get with someone you would struggle to respect? ive been in the situation where a guy was so overly romantic is was suffocating, and as time goes by your respect for them falters...and slowly disintegrates into nothing...u start feeling sorry for them in fact...
And then you have the opposite situation... a guy who plays it cool, keeps you wanting more... makes u want to put more effort in...doesnt invite himself round every night...
see THAT is attractive.... or am i wrong?!?

first of all... inspiring stuff!!
i have been on a couple of casual dates with people from here... and although they have been nice, im still searching for that special person..
but i just wanted to say, plentyoffish is a really great service, and thanks to them i have made a few more close friends... and theres nothing wrong with increasing the size of your social circle!!!
so congrats to everyone who has managed to find their mr or mrs right... and to those of you still searching...dont give up!!! i havent!!!!
